Other names your parents almost gave you

Pretty self-explanatory. Before your parents stuck you with the name you have now, what other ones were they planning on giving to you?

For me, my parents wanted a child with a highly unheard of name, so it's no surprise they decided upon Rindi. Before that though, my mother apparently wanted to call me Daria or Heaven for a girl and Dillon for a boy (Dillon was a very unheard of name at the time of my birth).

My dad almost named me "Rubarb" and my brother "Umbrella." Thank god he named me Dylan and my brother Roy.

Well, my parents really hadn't planned out my name when I was born. Just so happens that a Saint has his feast day after the day I was born so they named me after him-I'm just glad it wasn't anything stupid.

They were thinking of either calling me 'Rina' or 'Sarah' but stuck with Amanda. =D If I was a boy, they were going to name me 'Andrew'. ^^

My brother's name is Dillon and he was going to be named 'Olivia Grace' had he been a girl. ;P

The only name I recall my mom said she was going to name me was Emily. But, I got stuck with Julie. XP I do like my name though, somewhat.

If I would have been a boy, my dad wanted me named "Harrison". My mom hates it, but I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't think they really considered anything else, since my mom and dad made a deal that they'd get to name me according to my sex. Since I was a girl, my mom decided on her name for me, May. Which I do like better now that there's a Pokemon character named that too
