Is that flying pie?
Do you like to train pokemon to be your strongest other than starters? I do.
On my emerald, I waited to get a super rod for a Feebas. I trained into a Milotic, and for the pokemon league I trained it to lv.73. It's at lv.100 now.

On my sapphire, I traded a Mudkip for a Rayquaza. (pokemon fire red master was using my Ruby version, like transferring)a Magikarp for Lv.57 altaria, ninetales, and Shedinja at lv.21. I was lucky most of the time, because they obeyed me and I didn't have any badges.
On my ruby, I transferred from my Fire red. I got a dratini, Which is now a
lv.55 Dragonite.

What about you guys?

yes of course i train other pokemon to be good ones, why shouldn't i? it would be a waste just training one pokemon! thats why there are so many, so that you have lots to train to high levels.

Of course... Many of non-starters are better than starters. Like those you said... And T-Tar and Dragonite...

I think everyone does. I usually keep good ol' Spectile on my team ^^ (one of the best grass types IMO) and Aggron (my fav pokey) but other then those two, I like to change things around just to see how things are with them on the team.
