I discovered this anime whilst surfing Youtube..

I actually liked it more than I oroginally thought,

Since, it is techinically a spoiler

What I liked was the fact that Haruhi was different from other girls in shojo anime.. . From what I see, most girls are just boy-obessed, but she isin't..and it's really a breath of fresh air, especially in an anime like this (I think it's classiffied as shojo, though I'm not too sure..

Her behaviour is also more unique, I guess, which is probably due to her reduced awareness of gender differentiation..(being comortable being taken as a guy and all, but in particular her response to Tamaki's passes.. In most other shojo's I've watched, if the girl doesn't like a guy, she has a tendendency to beat him up, but with Haruhi, she glares, or she makes a smart-alec comment "Please stop your sexual harrassment which I find more hilarious, not to mention realistic..

No, theres no English dub. especially since ep.10 just aired in Japan.
I think theres around 5 volumes of the manga out in English, though.

I've seen the first 5 episodes, and I like it well enough. It doesn't seem to have gained the following of the other Haruhi show(The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi), though.

My friend adores this show. I'll probably get around to watching once I finish Full Moon. That'll be a while. From the bits and pieces I've seen it's intresting and a bit funneh.

lol, I remember that scene. That totally crack me up, and I know there was a bunch other funny parts that happened. I'm going to see if I could post some pics later on, but right now don't have it on me. But I got some too I liked. But I got a question, how did you show your pics like that without putting on the link? I always wondered, sorry for asking?

When they wore the kimonos, I laughed how they get the teary eyed tears from eye drops. lol, Little cheaters, everyone except for Tamaki.

yeah, I love the expression of Haruhi's face when she read it. They have so many moments. Another one I loved when Tamaki found out when Haruhi was a girl. I loved the look of his face. This is from the first episode.

How I found out about this anime? Well, I first watched it when I was surfing youtube.com.. the first ep benig ep5.... I really liked it, so I read about it in Wiki (which is where I actually found out that Haruhi was a girl) and so decided to watch it from ep 1, and have liked it ever since

^^ Ah, okay. My friend was the one showed me the series. I was in the anime club, and during break I saw her watch OHSHC, the first episode, and I was like, what the hell, since it was elegant with rich kids. But when I saw Haruhi, and the part she was a girl, I had to see more of the series, and the guys how they treat their hosts. LOL, first time caught u online!

Personally, I don't.. I"m well aware of the fact that Tamaki likes her (and possibly Hikaru as well) But I'd much rather the anime not become cliche and predictalbe.. so I like Haruhi single since that's much more in her character

hmm, guess so, but my friend loves these series as well like me, but too bad she not a member. Right now for me, its too early to say HAruhi go and be with. Yeah, I know Tamaki likes her, and he blushes everytime he sees Haruhi a girl. But they did had their moments. I have a feelin' they might end up together don't know, since usually I come out to be wrong.

I was scanning LJ and found about three posts in a row discussing the anime, so I thought I would take a quick look around for it. I finally found some episdoes and I loved it! I really am not one at all for romance and comedy anime, I normally stick to the dark ones, but this really did interest me.

I loved the fact that the Males were the ones trying to impress the women, not the other way around. Episode twelve airs this Tusday so I will be keeping my eye out for it. The good news is that they do come with English subs (of course) but they are put up a few days after the unsubbed versions are up.

The thing I like about this anime is it's originality (at leeast, to me) They call it shojou, but there's no fanserivce, no clichenes iop predictability, and best of all, the female lead isin't a clumsy boy-crazy ditz! Haruhi is definetely my favourite shojo character, probalby cause she has a personality which is the most similar to mine..
