OverHeat, Flamethrower, or Eruption fer Camerupt?

What Fire type move should be taught to my Camerupt? I'm having trouble deciding because they all have their pros and cons.

I'd say Overheat.

I say flamethrower because accuracy is important and Camerupt's sp. attack is good enough to make flamethrower an awesome move.

Though Camerupt has a sucky special move pool. Since fire is the only type you can draw from, Overheat has little penalty in the long run.

Hmm....but OverHeat only has 90 accuracy while Flamethrower has 100.....idk...

i'd say flamethrower because it has 100% acurracy and more pp which is important for long battles

Flamethrower. It has more accuracy and PP, and I've always hated Overheat for some reason. What's the use of an attack that does like half the amount of damage the next turn? Unless you switch then come back again, which makes it useless if you don't KO in the first turn.

Eruption isn't that good as well, you need a fast pokemon to do it. Camerupt is so slow that a pokemon will damage it before it can attack, so Eruption will do very little damage. Fire blast is too inaccurate and has too little PP to be good.

Flamethrower!! You can use it EFFECTIVELY for like 10 times or something. Unlike overheat... bleh. I wouldn't know about eruption though since I have no pokemon that know that attack.

Use Flamethrower. Overheat isn't much good without a White Herb, and even then the low PP and loss of item choice isn't worth it.

Naw, because then Overheat would do less damage, and Camerupt isn't going to outSpeed anything anyway.

For all of those complaining about Overheat sharply lowering SpAtk, there's a trick you can do called "switching".

You're not really gonna need to use Flamethrower (or any attack) fifteen times in a row because either your opponent is gonna switch, or you're gonna get KO'd, or both. Ninety per cent accuracy is really good for an attack that powerful.

White Herb is more trouble than it's worth btw.

Camerupt is meant to be a Choicebander
which means with choiceband limiting his moves
camerupt will be switching in and out constantly
to use another one, and with so many switches there
really is no harm in Overheat since you get your stats
back when you switch out and leave a dent on what
switches in on you while Fireblast may miss and like
Flamethrower doesn't do enough compared to a STAB 210
overheat and the poke is just too slow to hold Eruption..
