Overlord of Johto (Sign-Up)

It was another dark day in the land of Johto. There was a strange feeling in the air, as if something horrible was about to happen. But, I'm getting ahead of myself. I am Samantha, the keeper of the records in Johto. Johto has been a horrible place for the past ten years. Overlord Kaos (OCC: Kaos is spelled wrong on perpose, it is his real name) has been ruling over Johto with an iron fist for 10 years, and is becoming more powerful every day. But, a Resistance has risen and has been fighting againest Kaos for 3 years.

It all started when Kaos became a Captain in the Johto Millitary, back when the land was peaceful. He commited many crimes, and framed his superier, General Altmare. Altmare was kicked out of the army, and as a present Kaos became a General. But his thrist for power didn't stop there. He paid many Generals and Captains in the army to come to his side. Many joined him, and soon the Johto army was led by greedy slimballs, that would do anything for money. Kaos had a big party in Goldenrod to celebrate his promotion, inviting the Johto Presisdent and many other Generals. During all the fun, Kaos had the President killed, and with him gone, Johto had a new election. With the Generals paid for, he had it won before it started. He became President and asked for emergency powers from the generals to take over Orre, for it was getting out of hand. It was given to him, and instead of attacking Orre, and giving them a greater police force, he organized hem into two rival groups, Team Psyche and Team Midnight. He declared himself Emperer and took over all of Johto. The Region went down the drain after that, with Psyche and Midnight plundering the land, and destroying everything.

Now let me take you back where we started. It was another dark day in the land of Johto. There was a strange feeling in the air, as if something horrible was about to happen. A large cloud of dust was coming from the North and South, both scaring all the wild Pokemon away. What was about to happen? Only time could tell.

OCC: Now we are out of Samantha's perseptive let me explain the rules/give you a little bit more information on the Resistance and Empire.

Johto is ruled by four generals. All give a list.

1. Olivine City & Cianwood Isle: General Pandora

She has a Breloom, Rapidash, and a Seviper. She is in charge of the Imperial Navy.

2. Lake of Rage (Ireen City): General Prophet

He has a Xatu, Blaziken, and a Rhydon. He is in charge of the Imperial Strike Force.

3. Erekutec City: Gereral Zeron

He has an Alakazam, Slaking, and a Magenton. He is in charge of the Imperial Legends.

4. Twin Falls (Twin City): General Kai

He has a Murkrow, Arbok, and an Eletibuzz

Golderod City is the Imerial Capitol, and is ruled by Kaos.

The Empire has the following Legendary Pokemon: Ho-Oh, Zapdos, Enti, and Regice.

That's about as much as you need to know about the Empire.

The Resistance is much smaller, and the cities that are in their control are:

Newbark: There Soldier Training Camp
Violet: The Main Transportation Base
Mahogany: Their HQ
Azalea: Small Hidout
Cherrygrove: Main Medical Center

The Resistance is led by General Altmare, who has Tyranitar, Dragonite, and an Espeon.

Nothing is know about the two teams execpt:

Psyche: They are specialists in Psychic, Steel, and Electric Pokemon.
Midnight: They are specialists in Ghot, Dark, and Dragon Pokemon.

As well as Kaos organized them.

Personallity: He is a free souled young man, and hates being challenged, and he will not except a loss. He has a deep love of freedom, expecially from being stuck in Pyrite town more than half of his life.
History: Was raised on the Streets of Pyrite Town, came to help Johto when he hearded of their problem.
*Pokemon: Gengar, Gardevoir, Ferligatr, Ursaring, Xatu, and Claydol.

Description: Teenage boy with dark brown hair and green eyes. Wears a steel blue sweatshirt, dark green cargo pants, and a navy blue baseball cap, facing backwards. When he's undercover, he wears a Team Psyche uniform that's slightly altered to fit his style.
History: Gary grew up in Azalea Town with his Cyndaquil, until about when he was 5 (yes, he grew up with his cyndaquil ^-^; ) when Azalea was conquered and destroyed by the Empire. His cousin is the former gym leader, Bugsy, of whom he does not know the location of where he's at.
Pokemon: Typhlosion, Golduck, Espeon, Ampharos, Tyranitar, Venusaur

Thanks! I was also wondering if he could have three pokemon in the box? I roleplay with them, just not that often. They are a Togetic, Forretress, and Slowking. Also, what do I do next? Just wait for more poeple to sign up?

While you *do* have an interesting plot, there's a couple of things wrong...

Please Read the rules.

Detail: Like fanfic, you can't write a story in a paragraph, a plot for an RPG has to be long enough for the audience you're aiming for to get an idea what it's about. It doesn't have to be an epic 500 word chapter, but it needs to be more than a few lines strung together in a few minutes.
Interest: You'll want people to join so make sure you're plot is interesting. Expand on small ideas, so you can appeal to everyone's tastes. Listen to other people's advice and criticism. Be sure to look at other RPGs, just to see what they're doing, compare how you're plot is against theirs so you can get a better feel for what you're writing.

Can you make the plot longer? Like...Why did Kaos suddenly gain control over Johto? Where did team Psych and Midnight come from? Why are they in Johto? What is there purpose? Among other things.

Also, your description and personality could use some...work. Oh wait, you don't *have* a personality.

Description: This is how your character looks. Both their build, physical appearence, the clothes they wear and also their presence. Such as if they appear frigthening or kind.
Personality: Again this is how your character acts. Now is the time to be detailed, and not just say 'kind and funny'. Everybody is individual, so be sure to mention mannerisms and personal opinions.
History: Not all RPGs call for a hitory, but the ones that do usually have a reason for it, so be sure to put some effort into writing it. If your character has a good history, then you can build on it.

Each of these should at *least* be a paragraph long.

If you fix the aforementioned things, and read through the rules again, I'm sure this could become an awesome RPG ^_^
