Pal Park question

I remember hearing that Pokemon with HM moves can't be transferred to Pal Park. I've only seen this mentioned once (before D/P was even released, I think) and that's it.
I don't recall ever seeing it confirmed, so is there any truth to it?

I haven't checked this, but I don't think you can, seeing as GF changed the HM moves for pokemon for the first time, e.g. Dive = Rock climb, Flash = Fog clear...
SO yeah, I think you can't as the invalid bytes would cause chaos in the game save. Maybe. I dunno.

Just because the HM doesn't exist doesn't mean that the attack is incompatible, luckily.
There's a ton of Pokemon that learn Dive by level-up, and isn't Flash a TM now?

Any HM moves on the Pokémon you wish to transfer have to be deleted, regardless of whether they remain as such in D/P. And yes, Flash is TM 70 now.

Well, that sucks. I wonder if they have a reason for it, other than for the hell of it?
