when I transfered my ho-oh from coloseum to leaf green to diamond
instead of saying: from a distant land, it says its from hoenn. The same hapened to my uk event mew when I transfered it from leaf green to diamond saying its from hoenn. Does anyone know why this happens?

All "Fateful encounter" Pokémon from the GBA games are recognized as Hoenn.

I actually have MATTLE Ho-Oh and WISHMKR Jirachi and it says Hoenn.

beats me, My friend traded my a lugia from his emerald to my ruby, and sent it through pal park, and it said it's from a distant land.
