Hello this is my third thread since my other two did not do so well.

Okay this is where I will post all my fake pokemon. For now, here is my dex of my unbeatable Dinosaur Pokemon.

How old are you? Anyway I think it is very common(hasn't anything unique). I reccomend you to keep trying because I am making fakes for 4 years and when I see my old ones I laugh! I like your ideas about the pokemon, though!

I suggest you look at some pictures of 'Compy''s irl counterpart as the head should be a bit more muzzled, the arms thinner and less looking like they're attached to the back/the line for the back, the legs a bit different built and overall the body/tail in a bit better portions. Fakemon or not, you want it looking like a pokemon and not a scribble, don't you? I suggest that you start re-drawing your dex slowly, and using pictures and models to help you :/

Thanks for asking about my age. I'm 17.

Yami Ryu, thanks for your tip. I 'm not a really great artist and I like the way my Pokemon looked. If only if i were better at it.

I would have assumed you were younger from the drawing. Good thing I didn't assume. As I told you, use a model and other pictures and even looking at fossils will or could help. The only cure for being bad, is to practice. I used to not be able to draw anything really, and while I still can't draw humans, I'm getting better. Sorta.

You have to practice. Not everyone is an instant artist :/

I'm sorry but...Compy is bad. He doesn't even LOOK like a pokemon. But of course, I'm sure that if you practice, you'll become better.But another thing is the names, they don't sound like pokemon names, or describe what it is.Also, you spelled Compy's species wrong.It's 'Compsognathus' instead of 'Compsagnathus'.And why is he so big if Compsognathus are about the size of a chicken?And what type is he?

Thanks for the mispelling. Well I decided to make a big compsognathus Pokemon just for the heck of it

Oh and if you haven't read before, I said they are unbeatable. So techincally their all the types plus my made up type Dinosaur

But, then what's the point of battling with them if they can't be beaten?It just doesn't seem fair :/ Because I've made tons of prehistoric pokemon(the thread is somewhere in this forum) but I didn't make 'em unbeatable. But then again, you made them, so you could make them triple typed if you wanted.But that's just what I think.

Well Its a strange tip but you shouldnt have there arms like that try and make them connect more at the moment they look like a toys arms (ask if you dont understand what I mean)

God all your art is the same. If you didn't label and color it differently, all of the compy/raptors would be assumed to be the SAME POKEMON they all look like bad scribbles met bad plastic toys. Ever seen a Jurassic Park dino toy? If not, then I really pitty you, as I've been able to draw dinos better sketching and using them as a model, then you have acomplished here. To be brutaly honest, you are not trying. You are scribbling. And your 'tallest' pokemon looks like a rip off of Charizard, that's just been squashed flat. And the flying TRex? I'm sorry, that's not trex like, that's not dragon like. That's not even sauropod like. You give them all the same head basically, the same arm style, the same legs, the same body and tail. You don't make them try to be original, and you don't try period. Yes drawing is hard but it doesn't excuse you from the fact it's up to you to practice and get better. We've told you the problems, go out and fix them.

Yami, I totally agree with you. How hard is it to at least try to come up with a new pose? See, this is the kind of crap that makes me hate the art forum; when people give tips and advice, and no one listens.
Pam, have you ever seen a Tyrannosaur? They don't have four legs, yet you still label it as a T-Rex. This is quite a quagmire. I honestly don't know how can just walk in here with with a naive, blank feeling, and this utter lack of... anything, and expect to be given praise up the yin yang.
Fix these problems like Yami stated, or you'll just fall into th e pit of the myraid of "artists" that totally sucked, and expected to be gods.

Eurgh. I'm 4 years younger than you, and I can draw better. Are you SURE you aren't six or seven? Because that'd probably be the age I'd think you are, judging by your drawings. For one, I looked at two of'em (took too long to load the pictures), and the poses were bland, unimaginative and, well... Bad. Also, the outlines are pretty bad, and the arms look like the join right at the back (a cool idea, though, you probably came across it by accident). Try and get more practice in, it always helps, if not, then just scrap drawing and work on something else. For a seventeen year old, these are pretty bad.

(Sorry if I made you cry, but I'm not a nice person...)

thanks for that (sarcasm) . SERIOUSLY I'm 17. AND I WAS NOT BORN TO BE A GREAT ARTIST. But I'm trying to practice. I trace Ken Sugimori's pictures better though
