Panicing!!! I need EV help!!!

[Legendary Raikou]

Ok im kinda freaking out right now because I like went like 40 hours out of my time to cath a brand new Raikou and a brand new Latios. I want to get their EV's all right for their best place. I know Raikou and Latios both want Special Attack and Speed EV's to be maxed out. But I don't realy understand it because I wan't to max out both Special Attack and Speed for each Pokemon but I don't want it to like not max out one or the other and put it in a different stat or run out till where I cant max it out. Im sorry iv'e been kinda jumpy with the whole thing but I havn't realy got the help im looking for, or I just don't understand what im looking for. So if im batteling Spinda and only Spinda, will I get all my EV's for Special Attack eventually to where it won't count it anymore, or will it stop in the middle of when I go to train for Speed and not max it's Speed stat out because I overbattled or something?

Kk, EVs are little 'points' that you get for defeating a pokemon. You can have 256 max (Every 4 EVs is 1 more point in that stat, so just go 252/252/4 for an exact the same but better result) for each stat. I'm assuming you know that =\. Spinda gives 1EV per kill (Use Macho Band to double it). Kill 126/8 Spinda for a max in Sp.Atk EVs, and they will only give you Sp.Atk.

So after those Spinda, you go onto Speed EVs. I forgot what gives EVs, but lets say you are now killing PkmnA. (assuming it gives 1 Speed EV per kill) After the 126/8 PkmnA, you will have 252 Sp. Atk and 252 Speed EVs. Now go spend another 4 EVs in whatever.

max ev stat is 255 per pokemon per stat
and total is 510
yeah you will stop getting EVs after it gets to 255
so, Ill tell you how to train
see get some move with high PP,100 accuracy and around 40-70 power.
Keep bashing Spinda, and when you run out PP for that move, you know how many Spinda you have beaten (I personally combine this with Tally Marks on a piece of Paper, I never go wrong)
So, Give your Latios/Raikou 10 Calcium (10EVs per calcium) and 10 carbos (same) then give the pokemon the macho brace and go beat up 76 spinda,3 whismur (HP) and 76 zigzagoon/Taillow or 38 Linoone/Swellow or their combo- upto you.

if youve already maxed out the 255 points for special attacks, even if you continue defeating spindas, it will no longer be counted so no need to worry about overbattling. move on to the next ev stat you want to raise i.e. speed (use zubats). best thing to do so you dont have to worry about misusing your ev points is to tally the number of pokemon youve fainted.
to make the process faster, equip the macho brace to the pokemon youre training. with the macho brace on, instead of having to beat 255, all you need is to beat 127 spindas. same goes for zubats.

I kinda see what you are saying but I started batteling spinda before I thought of tallying them on paper but I want to max out my stats at 255 but I dont want it to like stop and put the extra stats in like Special Defence or something I want to have 255 for Special Attack and 255 for Speed only.
