Friendly POKéMON.
I've decided to start working on my one-shot after at least half a year of thinking. It has no plot, neither does it have any characters. But it's basically a combination of assorted extracts from the student record of a student, nothing more.

It includes essays, assignments, projects, test answer sheets, a report card, the works. There are grades and corrections, small side-notes by the student, everything that makes it look like a normal assortment of assignments. The only thing seperating it from non-fiction is that the school the student is studing in is the Rustboro Trainer School (or more specifically, Rustboro High, a developement on the original school that is made a few years after the GBA setting in R/S/E.

The only thing keeping me from getting on to it is the apparent lack of a good title. Should I just call it Student Record, or should I go for something eye-catching? Or should I try something else? I want opinions and suggestions.

I'd def. try and get something that has more eye candy to it. I realized a title is everything and people read what looks like its fun to read. Be more specific on what the fics about and come up with the title.

First off: It does have a plot, and it does have characters. The students and teachers are characters and every grade he gets and any assignment he does is plot. As for the title, go for something simple, such as the one you've already suggested.

I like "My Houndour Ate It". Or maybe something like, "The Right Thing Due" referring to doing the correct homework assignment but also sounding like "Do the right thing" which it could still be about doing the right thing as far as not cheating and whatnot. I don't know.

Houndour, Houndoom, Growlithe, Arcanine, Poochyena, or Mightyena would all work just as well. So if you go with a title like that, which dog you go with might depend on your personal preference, or maybe by what pokemon the characters have or meet up with.

You might even use Entei, Suicune, or Raiku in the title, it's up to you.
