And for the main event. The Penguins; Pochama, Pottaishi and Empelt. For those of you who haven't read their Pokédex entries, they're all rather full of themselves. Hence the pompous, wine sipping, cane weilding fowls you see here.

Yes, I do use Photoshop. And yes, I do like drawing birds an awful lot. I find that, no matter what speices it tends to be, they all have their own unique personallities. Which makes them really fun to illustrate~

On a more serious note, I did pencil a Koro-Commie back when we first started rambling about it long ago. He had everything. The fur coat, the big russian hat, the expression of pure rage... but I never got around to coloring it. Shall totally get on it now, however!

Vaguely less generic compliements to follow.

I always saw the Pochama line as more of the generic prideful shonen hero type, but the aristoguin image works too. And to great effect. The Rayquaza on the top of the staff is a nice touch. That and Enperto scratching itself with its...claws. Still can't figure out how the hand-randomly-spouting-from-a-wing thing is supposed to work. But enough of that, I'm being too DETAILED! I'll balance this out like so: POCHA POCHA POCH! POCHAAAAA!

The addition of a mouth makes Dainose all the funnier. And more capable of eating puppies. And of course the mini-Nosepass appendages are always great.

Hikozaru needs its buttflame drawn like that ALL THE TIME. It actually makes it look cool. None of this "hey we just randomly attached a generic Charmander/Ponyta flame to it" crap that makes it one of the "eh whatever" starters to me.


...tsk! I'm sure that SOMEONE here with more drawing skills that I(which basically involves being able to draw something better than stick figures) could do a more thorough review than THAT, even if most of what I did was stating the obvious! But noooo.

Hikozaru looks freaking awesome. The background, the expression, the belly button. Wonderful. You could add a halo and the monkey staff and it'd be just fit enough for Halloween. :p

Dainose is just kick ***. I'm just going to print that out and put it on my door front. It just rocks, reminds me of the rotten Toadstools in the Mushroom Forest from American McGee's Alice. X3

The Pochama evo line looks great. I actually pictured Pottaishi and Empelt that way, not so sure about Pochama though. xD

Your art has always amazed me. Your style puts Sugimori-kun to shame. Not even he can beat your style. Your talent simply amazes me.

As always, very awesome! Your cartoon style is just awfully funny and cool. Your pics always get a smile off my face.

The Hikozaru looks so nasty and cool. He's pimp! I like a lot the flame effect myself. Not to say his face.

Dainose scared me a lot. But... that pic provides even more back-up to the belief that it's a Mario tribute. :D Very well done and awesome! Scaree, though. =P

The Penguins win the most, however. They're so pompous and snobby they can't be resisted! I like your portrayal of Enpelt a lot. As always, your drawings make the Pokés look quite natural and smooth. You even managed to make the rather mechanical-looking Enpelt to look like a real bird! That's quite commendable. ^^

Awesome pics. I'd really love to see more. Keep it up! :)

Hikozaru's flames are cooool. Uh, hot. And Dianose just scares me. o_o;

On to the main event:
I'm going to say that I love the border. It's spiffy and adds that "High-class"-ness that the picture needs.

Anyway, the haughty penguins... well, they're haughty and awesome. I love the shading, Pottaishi is perfect with his pocket watch and staff.

All this picture is missing is... monocles!

Squee! I thought that nothing could outshine the Pelliper and Bouyosel picture, but, the Pochama line poster just blows it out of the water. [see, what I did there? Water, anybody? No? Oh well.]

So what I gather is if I go to a classy party and those penguins are there, they're gonna dis me big time, right? 'Cos the classiest thing I can do is say "Pish, pish!" and there's no way they'd be satisfied. This is a real downer, too, because I really like wine and cheese.
