ok for example,

- What are the odds of a confused pokemon to hurt itself ?

cause in BF today, it worked 7 times in a row for that damn cpu !

- or the odds of Focus Band to prevent fainting ? i saw that work twice in a row too in BF lol..

- How a bout just a critical hit ? on a normal attack, not slash or something with increased critical... like flamethrower maybe or thunderbolt ??

- What are the odds of protect/detect working twice in a row ?

- How exactly does a move like Double Team raises evasiveness ? is it like 5% every time its used ?

think I had more, but it'll answer most of my questions for now :)

Thanks in advance !

BF stands for Battle Frontier.. I think ? lol

yeah and I'm guessing it's random lol, but they certainly have a certain % of them happening.

Got to that forum for asking questions, not here, but I'll reply.

It's random, so let your Pokemon hold a Persim Berry.

- or the odds of Focus Band to prevent fainting ? i saw that work twice in a row too in BF lol..

It prevents your Pokemon from fainting 100%. But, it'll leave your Pokemon with 1 HP, and for the next turn, the Focus Band will be off no use.

I'll answer the others later.

1:I believe it is 50% chance.
2:Havent tried before.
3:A critical hit is like 15%. If you focus I believe the chances of critical is 30%.
4:1st turn is 95%, the second is 75%, 55% the next, 35%, and then 10%, but you probably wont get past the fourth protect hehheh.
5:I only know that the first double team raises evasion by 30%.

He knows it's random, he wants to know the exact chances! Sadly I myself don't know the exact chances.

... that would be such a great answer if it was true. I beleive the chances of the band working or like 5% or 6%.

Sadly I don't know the answers to the other questions.

8%

- How a bout just a critical hit ? on a normal attack, not slash or something with increased critical... like flamethrower maybe or thunderbolt ??
8% as well

- What are the odds of protect/detect working twice in a row ?
IIrc the second time has a 75% cahnce of working - this one I'm not sure on

- How exactly does a move like Double Team raises evasiveness ? is it like 5% every time its used ?
EDIT: I thought there was a thread on this in CRMT, which was for what I was thinking of. It gives the percentages for stat ups/downs of the main stats, but evasion works off a different scale, so it does not have that. It's something like evasion goes to 85% first time, 55% second time, and slowly creeps down to 25% or so past there.

think I had more, but it'll answer most of my questions for now :)

Thanks in advance !

actually that is not true because my opponent in BF hung on for twice in one occasion.

What are the odds of protect/detect working twice in a row ?

i think its 100% on first turn, then 50% on second, then 25% on the third and so on.
so the percentage of it working twice in a row is simply 50%
so the percentage of it working three times in a row is 50% X 25% which is 12.5%.
the percentage of it working
