About a week ago, several episodes which aired in Japan before and after this episode got dub titles. Does anyone know why this episode didn't? Is it because this episode will be banned outside of Japan?

Why would it be banned? They have no reason to ban this episode plus its important to Serena's development and story arc so I doubt it. The airdates are probably wrong or there's going to be 2 episodes airing on the same day or something.

Am i the only one who find Pokemon showcases to be extremely boring, the writers should have brought back contests or came up with something more enjoyable

Agree'd that contests were a bit better.
I don't normally say this but the shipping felt like one of the best parts of the episode. (and how Ash remains oblivious)
The cooking portion I thought was ok and has potential but seems a little underdeveloped. Which is not to say that everything else was bad but I cannot wrap my head around how they are deciding who wins in the final round. How should the audience vote when all of the performers do a good job?

I guess these competitions are a little hard to take so seriously when there are equally-good performances...
But I enjoyed the shipping stuff in this. Miette makes everything better.

I find them enjoyable. Performance episodes are the best. I honestly get bored at battles sometimes and it is nice to have a break from them. I always thought contests were, um, boring (though many will disagree with me).
oh and will people stop calling them non-contests? it's called performances.

Okay the dub wasn't as fun with the Miette teasing Serena scenes as the Japanese version. A few things were changed and I don't know why.
i agree pokemon contest were way better honestly its one of the reasons i dont enjoy serena as a character
no they are boring to me too i would personally rather watch contests than performances.

Yeah most of the words said by Miette while she was teasing Serena in Jap version were quite different from Eng version :/ They shouldn't have made those changes,i also wonder why do they do that....
The rest of the Episode was nice but i missed her music when she won the key....(dori dori) it was heard in jap version....They didn't play any enjoyable song at the back .Except for some boring music ..

800+ episodes so I might be forgetting, but this has to be the first time that I've seen 'Who's That Pokemon?' include two Pokemon like that.
I still like gym battle episodes better, but I'm really warming p to these Pokemon Showcase episodes now.

I loved this episode. It was nice to see Serena get her first key. And Meowth helping Jessie cook was awesome, I thought her putting on the finishing touches would ruin it for her but luckily it didn't.
Serena and Miette's interactions were great as well.
And Sycamore trying to hug his assistant only to fall down was hilarious.

Agreed on all points here. And it's dumb how the title screen still has the old design of Serena and showed Ash instead of Serena. I guess TPCi doesn't want to change them at all.
I'm so glad Serena won. After seeing her reaction after her other loss, it was heart-breaking and I don't want to see it again
I found the performance thoroughly entertaining. Some of the Poképuff designs were so intricate and then the performances themselves were mesmerising and yes, even Jessie's.
I both like and dislike Miette. I dislike her because her arrogance annoys me to no end but on the other hand, there is a caring interior to her and when she teases Serena about Ash it's so funny.
A fine episode, onto the next one (Finally caught up, phew).
