Non non non!
Damn bye quilly.

For now.

Anyways, I was like, oh screw the Heatran team planning. So I thought of a new, fun, innovative idea for a set that's totally not innovative.

SCARFED Jellicent! BWAHAHAHAHah.

Which of course packs Water Spout.

EHehehhehe.

Jellicent @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Modest / Timid Nature
- Water Spout
- Giga Drain / Shadow Ball / HP Fire
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump

Pretty self-explanatory. Water Spout hits leads mon and their mothers. Giga Drain is sort of useful since I get hp back guaranteed but its coverage is bleh. Shadow Ball on the other hand, provides STAB and hits the twin latis pretty well, and psychic type, but the latis are covered by Ice Beam and a lot of psychic types are just completely ****ed by a full-power Water Spout. HP Fire seems like another cool choice, since it can beat Ferro (who walls every other thing on this set). Unfortunately, Water Spout usually hits much more harder on other steels not named Scizor / Forretress. So I'm deciding on Slot 2. Ice Beam handles the lati and Celebi and the other dragons. Hydro Pump is when my hp goes low.

Now, Jellicent is going to need some support due to Celebi being a trouble. I thought of Scizor. Then HP Fire came into mind, so I decided to play around with a set I saw in a guy's RMT.

Scizor @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- U-Turn
- Iron Head
- Superpower
- Aerial Ace

Scizor + Scarf = outspeed psychic = kill them with U-turn. Iron Head is... yeah. Superpower is... yeah. Aerial Ace is for killing Volcy and Breely.

Now, I think that Scizor lacks power while Jellicent needs some help in getting part the blobs. So enter polish Landorus-T.

Landorus-T @ Life Orb
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Rock Polish
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Explosion

Gotta love the EdgeQuake combo. Pretty straightforward. After Mamo and Ferro are cleared, Landorus-T proceeds on to sweep 'em all. Explosion is just, last resort, to blow up some serious stuff.

Now, I'm thinking that my team is kind of walled by Ferro. So... Anyone has any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe a Heatran or Infernape. Infernape sounds like a cool idea. MixApe sounds like it can handle both Mamo and Ferro. Any ideas?

Quilly is awesome hmkay.

Anyway, I'm getting used to the new lil mewtwo family addition. I kinda starting to like it. Mewtwos line never supposed to be real pretty and refined, but a lil rough on the edges. I always liked the mew family so I welcome the new guy :D (also my guess is it's not a form but a new poke. the official sotes says: "The mysteries of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y continue to grow with the unveiling of a Pokémon that is strangely familiar! It looks a lot like the powerful Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo, but not quite the same…"
Sounds like new poke to me with an connection to mewtwo. Thoughts guys?

Edit 2: Seems confirmed that it's mewtwos awakaned form. So I'm hoping it boosts mewtwos stats too equal base of arceus, being the strongest pokemon made by hands of man equaling god. That idea tickels me inside a bit.

Edit: Coolest pic of the new mewtwo so far!

Accepted. Welcome to the clan!

I like the speculation for the whole Mewtwo thing and am looking forward to what it's going to bring

I guess it's a new form of Mewtwo. Which is pretty lame to me. I want more info about the starters!

I wanted more originality but I don't mean that in the whole "omg its an ice cream cone" sense like in gen 5 but not a legendary that's a new form or based off of an old legendary. I also want more info on the starters. Especially on their final forms. Personally right now I want me that Froakie <3

okay my xat just plain won't work. I've been trying for like a week and a half to get on and no luck. I really don't know what to do here.

I'm getting mightily bored of OU and its abundance of rain and sand stall teams, and the same pokemon over and over again. I feel like learning a new tier, does anyone here play any other tiers who could give me some tips and whatever? I'm particularly interested in trying out LC.

LC can be frustrating since everything is level 5 and quite a few pokemon in gen I and II that got evolutions are banned lol All weather starters are banned so for the most part its clear skies, but I use a rain dance team occasionally.

Im just looking to try something new really. And as for steelix, there may be a better pokemon but I need a electric resist or immunity, that's the main reason I chose him.

what about Donphan?
Impish 252 HP/ 4 Atk/ 252 Def
Leftovers
Sturdy
-Stealth Rocks (gen IV TM)
-Ice shard
-Earthquake
-Rapid Spin/Stone Edge

He works out pretty well since he's not seen enough to really have people memorizing the way he's played.

Hmm I'll give that a try, thanks.

In all honesty, a bucket of nails would do a better job for you than Steelix. There are so many viable options that are way better than him. I'm not gonna list all of them because there's like, 500 pokemon better than Steelix.

I keep hearing that, yet I can't afford to lose the electric immunity as three of my team members are weak to it already. Donphan is pretty good but I've won considerably more matches with steelix (whether that's related or not is unsure). I'll keep testing Donphan though, any other specific suggestions about replacements for steelix?
