    Name:
    Cassandra Winter

    Age: 17

    Gender: Female

    Arcana: Justice

    Description:

Cassandra is a few inches above average height, enough to be noticeably taller than many of her peers. She has fair skin, a clear complexion, and straight black hair that falls past her shoulders. Her bangs are long enough to partially cover one of her eyes unless she has her hair pulled back. Her eyes are a cool grey color. Cassandra’s build is thin and wiry and she carries herself with a confident yet relaxed posture.

Not one to spend a lot of time fretting over her appearance, Cassandra tends to shy away from any formal, restricting, or just plain uncomfortable clothes. T-shirts and jeans make up the majority of her wardrobe, with her favorite colors being red, white, and black. A pair of well worn sneakers are her footwear of choice, though she will opt for sandals on occasion if its warm enough. A pair of small silver cross-shaped earrings are her only jewelry.

A sly smile and an analyzing gaze are what most people would notice first about Cassandra. She has an aura of cool confidence, never shying away or appearing flustered. She has a habit of tapping her fingers when she’s bored or annoyed and a tendency to look you directly in the eyes when conversing. Her cool, almost elegant demeanor can make her seem distant or hard to approach.

Personality: Cassandra is a tactician. Always analyzing, studying, puzzling away at things. Never content to waste time or sit still. She has a penchant for taking in information, absorbing even the tiny details and mulling them over. Because of this, she’s often quietly observing her surroundings especially when she’s in unfamiliar territory or in a new group of people. Once she gets her bearings however, she starts to open up. Like most other things in her life, she selects her friends very carefully and isn’t easily swayed by peer pressure.

Precision is almost a virtue for Cassandra. She chooses her words carefully when speaking and plans out her actions as far ahead of time as she can. She hates being unprepared, and not much scares her more than the thought that she might do something careless and embarrass herself. Because of this, she can be polite to a fault especially when first meeting people. She can be a bit particular about where she focuses her efforts as well. She is diligent in her studies, but only if the class interests her. She is meticulous in her habits, but only the ones she deems important.

As a big fan of puzzles and games of strategy or wit, Cassandra is always working on some idea or another and keeping herself mentally occupied. She can be competitive too, and is a particularly adamant chess player. She likes to win, not by a stroke of luck, but by outsmarting or outmaneuvering her opponent. Cassandra abhors cheaters. Her calm and collected aura help in her strategies as well, rarely betraying her thoughts or emotions when the tension is high. She doesn’t take defeat well however, and is prone to develop rivalries rather quickly.

History: The eldest of three kids, Cassandra spent most of her childhood helping to look after her siblings. Settling arguments, inventing games, keeping up with chores, cleaning rooms, cooking lunch, she had to help with it all. Especially during the summer when her parents still had work but school was over and done with. This meant that when mom and dad weren’t around, Cassandra was the boss. And she was also responsible for what happened. Few things will mature you quite so effectively as being responsible for two kids.

When she could get away from her little brother and sister, Cassandra took every second of peace and quiet she could. As such, she’s quite comfortable both around a lot of people and alone at home. Her love of games started early too. Card games, board games, riddles, puzzle rings, sudoku, you name it. But it was her father’s old chess set that she kept going back to. The game fascinated her, and she played whoever she could whenever she could. Along the way, she became quite skilled.

In middle school, she and some other like minded students formed an unofficial games club. There were no official school clubs in middle school, so they would meet when they could. She quickly garnered a reputation for being a strong opponent and a terrible loser. Often to the point of accusing others of cheating if things went really south. As it turns out, Cassandra simply hadn’t yet figured out that games with a luck factor were, inherently, unperfectable. You could perform flawlessly, make every move or play every card without mistake, and a single draw or shuffle would tip the scales immediately. It didn’t seem fair. Perfection should win, right? If you do the best you can with what you have, surely defeat shouldn’t be an option?

It was a harsh lesson, made all the harsher when a year later, as she was looking forward to her freshman year of high school, a drunk driver took her mother away. Just like that. A trip to the store, someone else’s bad decisions, and she was gone. She hadn’t done anything wrong. It wasn’t fair. And when she discovered that the drunk driver in question had lived, her grief was compounded with anger. It wasn’t right that he lived while her mother didn’t.

Things were much harder after that. Cassandra had to work extra hard to watch after her siblings. And her father had to look for another job, something that paid more money, but that meant he wasn’t around much either. And when he was, he was grieving as well. Over the next year, Cassandra’s first year of high school, she practically ran the household. The only thing that kept her sane was the chess matches she shared with her father. Every night, when the other kids were asleep, they would play. Picking up from last night’s game or starting anew. And every night they would rely on each other to help them deal with everything that had happened. Eventually, her father did land a new job at a software company in the City of Cantillion and the family moved over the summer.

Cassandra spent her 2nd year of high school at Cantillion Academy, her father’s new income to thank for that, where she quickly fell into the ranks of the school’s chess club. With her eyes set on the captain’s seat, she’s doing her best not to shirk her admittedly minimal club duties. And now that her siblings are a little older, they need her attention less and less giving her more time to study. As her 3rd year of high school begins, the only thing she’s dreading is her 4th year when her younger brother becomes a freshman.

    Persona Application

    Name: Nemesis

Description: Nemesis takes the form of a large armored figure around seven feet tall. The armor covers her entire body, leaving almost no skin exposed, and resembles the decorations of the standard chess pieces, black on Nemesis’s left side and white on her right. A soft golden light emanates from the spaces between the armor pieces. On her head rests the pointed crown of the Queen piece, a ring of large upward facing spikes all the way around her head. A plain, blank, mask covers her face. A curtain of hair, angelically golden, spills out from the back of her armored head.

The shoulder piece, or pauldron, on the black side is shaped like the horse-head of the Knight piece while the white side is shaped like the elegant hat of the Bishop piece. Emblazoned on the chest piece are the image of a set of scales, perfectly balanced. The leg armor resembles the strong towers of the Rook pieces, even down to the bottom. Where her feet should be are only the round foundations of the Rooks. In her hands she holds a huge two-handed sword, sharp on both sides, that is also split between black and white halves.

Personality: Nemesis is a goddess not merely of justice, but of divine retribution. The manifestation of Cassandra’s desire to see the world “righted”. Bad must never go unpunished. Good must never go unrewarded. The cosmic scales must be perfectly balanced, by force if necessary. Nemesis will never fight dirty or employ an underhanded trick. She will never leave an ally undefended or allow an enemy who has hurt an ally to go unchallenged. Rather, Nemesis approaches every situation with cold, calculating, force of will. At no time can she be convinced that she is wrong. She may concede for the moment, but she will never relent. Nemesis also treats others with the same level of simplicity. Do good, and she will respond well. Do wrong and she will not hesitate to rebuke you. Her world is purely black and white. Right and wrong. And all dues must be paid.

Abilities: Nemesis’ main method of attack is her large sword. With it, she can deal heavy physical damage, slicing through enemies with skill and a finesse that seems at odds with the sword’s size and bulk. The sword’s large width also allows Nemesis to use it to defend against some attacks. Her impressive stature and armored form also make her something of a tank for the group, able to handle being the focus of the enemy’s attention. As long as both of her feet are firmly on the ground, it is almost impossible to push her back or knock her over. Being a goddess of retribution, Nemesis has no healing abilities whatsoever and relies on her allies for that.

In addition to this, each of Nemesis’ sides has a special ability. With the hand on her black side, Nemesis can open a rift that allows her to teleport short distances. Nemesis is unable to bring anyone or anything else through these rifts with her. With the hand on her white side, Nemesis is able to conjure and cast a bolt of lightning, smiting enemies with divine fury. Using either of these abilities requires her to free that hand, and thus, reduce her effectiveness at wielding her sword until she returns to a two-handed stance.

TheSeqeulReturns - Everything looks good, ACCEPTED!

Everyone - As there isn't a huge demand for characters or anyone waiting for a spot to open up, I believe I will allow people to have a second character. I do not recommend doing so and simply focusing on your one character, but since everyone has come up with great sign-ups so far, I'll let everyone make a second character if they'd like. I'm also working on a Discord server and will hopefully have it done soon.

EDIT: Schade, your changes look great, ACCEPTED!

Also made an edit to my own sign-up, changed her occupation from music teacher to librarian/study hall teacher.

    Student Application
    Name: Olivia "Olive" Hirst

    Age: Eighteen

    Gender: Female

    Arcana: Hierophant

    Description:
Olive is a young woman of average stature, standing around 5'3" and weighs around 160 pounds. She is somewhat thin, but has a noticeable hourglass figure. Her waist is small yet her bust and hips are noticeably large and wide. Her arms and legs are well toned, muscular and slim thanks to her spending her free time at the gym. She's by no means buff, but she has certainly developed some muscle tone. Her breasts are an average C cup, nothing spectacular, but still enough to be noticeable in her outfits. She's Caucasian with mostly clear skin, other than her tiny array of freckles dotting her cheeks. Her eyes are somewhat large, green in colour with noticeable black eyeliner around them. Olive takes great pride in her appearance, often taking hours in front of a mirror to ensure that her eyeliner and lipstick are applied perfectly --- along with the ideal contour to ensure her face looks it's best. She's unfortunately near-sighted, and as such has to wear glasses. They're rather plain, black in colour with square frames. Her hair is blonde (natural) and somewhat full of volume, not exactly what one would call wavy, but she certain has a lot of hair. It is usually nicely groomed and pulled back into a long, voluptuous ponytail. A large black bow is used to tie it back, adding to her cutesy fashion sense.

For clothing, Olive likes to look professional and nice, as what she currently has planned for her future will require her to do so. Her shirt is a white sweater, cropped directly under her breasts with a folded down collar. She wears a high-waisted yellow skirt that flares out enough to still be cutesy, while coming down to just above her knee and still looking professional. To cover her legs, she wears a set of black leggings with yellow flat shoes. As her white shirt is actually short sleeved, she is rarely seen without her black dress jacket to cover her arms.

Personality: Olive is a diplomatic individual, she never follows exclusively her own drum and tries to hear the thoughts of her peers and group. She never believes that her opinion is the only possible option to approach any sort of situation, she always offers others to speak and hears their options. She courteous and polite, always apologizing when she bumps into others and saying sorry even when it is not her fault. She's the type of person that people often come to when they need advice, as she is able to discern both sides of the story and offer advice that would calm the worry of the person she's assisting. She comes across as friendly, attractive (inside and out) and confident. She's certainly a charmer, that's for sure. However she is actually somewhat unconfident in herself due to only being called beautiful by her family (mostly her father), as such she is not quite sure if she's actually pretty. She's never really been told she's beautiful despite her charming and charismatic nature and as such has an indecisive attitude about her own appearance.

Olive can be somewhat sassy, and sometimes has snarky and sarcastic responses to questions. However, she's a pretty down to Earth and easygoing at heart. She tends to not let little things bother her and will usually brush off things that are small, her motto has always been 'don't sweat the small stuff' which she definitely tends to stick by. She enjoys making friends, as she had very little interpersonal contact beyond her family before entering Cantillion Academy. She finds it easy to make friends that to her sociable nature and friendly easygoing personality, and as such people tend to flock to her and feel at ease and comfortable around her. Her easygoing nature could also be described as peaceful, as she dislikes causing conflict and prefers keeping everyone happy. She puts others before herself and always ensures that the happiness of other people comes before her own. She is a bit of a perfectionist, often putting herself down as in her eyes she'll never be what she aims to be. Her idealistic nature can also be attributed to her sappy romantic side, as she wishes for a perfect world that will never quite come into fruition.

She's artistically inclined, wanting to make the world beautiful like she wishes herself to be. She loves poetry, reading and writing her own. She also loves art, hoping to become a proper painter and artist. She studied in her home city before being sent abroad to study nature and learn proper painting techniques in Japan for a few years; she grew a fondness for scrolls and classical Japanese paintings and devloped a style based around these things. She plays the violin, and has been doing it since she was young (as her father instructed her to do). She loves to read and would consider herself quite intelligent, which is probably why she comes off as somewhat snarky and sarcastic to some people. She loves talking about things she loves, and can sometimes act quite immature about these things when prompted with them in conversation.

She is wise beyond her years, but this could be chalked up to her upbringing. She was raised to be the perfect child: intelligent, well spoken, agreeable, and attractive. Things that her father instilled in her from a young age. She's quite timid when it comes to talking with her father, finding it difficult to argue anything he says and often goes along without second thought. She was raised to be the perfect pawn that her father could use to gain the upper hand, the perfect little girl that all the other members of his circle looked up to and admired, and she became just that. Now, with freedom, she intends to break out of her shell and break down the "her" that her father wanted her to be. She now wants to figure out who she truly is.

History: What has happened to you? Regardless of how exciting or dull your life has been, there are lots of little things that make a big impact on who a person becomes. Also, please explain how you came to Cantillion Academy rather than going to public school. (2+ Paragraphs)

    Name: Furfur

Description: Furfur takes the form of a winged stag demon. His legs are those of a stag, while his torso is that of a muscular human man. His arms are elongated and frightening, ending in large clawed hands that are made for combat. He has the head of a stag, complete with a large rack of horns atop his head. He has the ability of flight through large, bat-like wings protruding from his back. Furfur's fur that covers his entire body is a dark brown colour, typical of a wild stag. His hooves and horns are blackened and shiny, appearing as though they are always polished. His wings are dark, black and large. The texture appears silky, akin to the wings of a bat. His eyes are piercing and amber in colour, striking fear into hearts around him.

Personality: Furfur is an intellectual. He is wise and is often the voice of reason when Olive finds herself in a difficult situation. However, Furfur's wiseness often comes with a hint of treachery. Furfur is a being of mischief, but unlike most malevolent beings, he has no ulterior motive of conquest --- no, Furfur lives for chaos.

    - represents Olive's desire to act out of the strictly defined rules she's been stuck with

All right finish revamping Jamie again, let me know if there are any problems you need me to fix.

    Student Application

    Name: Jamie Austin Moore
    Age: 17
    Gender: Female
    Arcana: Emperor

Description: Jamie’s entire image doesn't give off a womanly air. From her above average height for a girl just under 5’11” to her barely noticeable small chest and lack of feminine curves, at glance most will mistake her for a man. Her slender built and her very fair skin tone is probably her most girly feature even that is questionable. Her skin is rough to the touch and her built is surprisingly quite muscular despite its slender appearance. One can easily see define muscle in her arms and legs. A sharp jaw line also adds a boyishness to her face. Just before starting a new school year, Jamie got her pale blonde hair cut. The sides of her head have been shaved down and the rest has been trimmed short and comb to back for an undercut hairstyle. With this, her face is completely free of all hair making her only her sharp and serious, pale blue eyes and the beauty mark next to her right eye noteworthy about her face.

When it comes to her clothing, Jamie also has a very boyish taste. She doesn’t wear frilly skirts, cute blouses, or heels and wouldn’t even dream of wearing anything pink. She finds dress shirts, t-shirts, slacks, jeans sneaker, and dress shoes to be the most comfortable to wear. Thus her wardrobe consists of snug-fitting pants, slightly big on her shirts and basic running shoes. On the norm, her clothing choice has no pattern on it just solid color shirts and some jeans or slacks though she does own a few pattern shirt that she wears on more casual outings. One of her favorite outfits is a black and white baseball shirt, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap. No matter what she wears, Jamie’s clothes are always good quality, clean and without a wrinkle. She always dresses neat and proper making sure not even a single thread is out of place.

Personality: Serious is Jamie’s most prominent trait. She puts her best effort in everything she does whether she likes it or not, is not relevant. If it is something she is doing she puts her all into it. Due to this mentality, Jamie is very knowledgeable and excels at everything she does. She demands the same for those around her pushing them to be better even if they don’t want it. It can be annoying and frustrating if she decides to bring someone up to her work standards, but those under her guidance do greatly improve. What people also often notice about her is mannerisms: she walks with her head held and gives off an air of confidence and strength. And when dealing with people the same atmosphere comes out making people gather to her and listen when she talks.

After getting to know Jamie for a bit, her tough and strong will personality flow throughout her entire being making her attitude come out very manly. She doesn’t act feminine even a little bit it seems, blunt and to the point with her words, she uses the tough method of encouraging people. It is not just an appearance of toughness either, Jamie is actually very physically strong carrying heavy objects, can throw a punch and receive one no problem. You can tell by her stance when she about to be in a confrontation that she understands the ins and outs of fighting. While she can be easily angered, she rarely shows it or acts on it unless it becomes threatening or very personal. Rather than cooking and knitting, she would prefer sports and other strenuous activities that get her sweating and blood pumping. When told that she won’t be able to do something, Jamie’s will to prove them wrong comes out. It becomes her mission to not only do it but do it above average performance. It’s a childish impulse of not wanting to be controlled by another’s will that makes her so determined to succeed.

On another note, Jamie is quite judgmental toward people. She thinks of other girls as weak, dainty, flowers that contain venomous thorns. Always watching her back even with friends, she finds it hard to fully trust the female kind knowing how two-sided and manipulative they can be to get their way. While not exactly gentle she tries to be less straight forward and tough so they don’t start crying on her. Jamie finds it incredibly difficult to have girl talks as she has no girly interest in clothes, make-up or boys in that way. It’s mostly because of a lack of common likes that she doesn’t really prefer to hang out with girls.

Men come in two categories: strong, burly, and sporty types and the puny, weak, artistic types. Whichever she classifies them the one fact she believes they share: guys always want something from girls. No guy approaches a girl for no reason: they want their affection or their body. It's not really something she worries about since most guys don’t feel that way for her, so she more relaxed around more manly guys. Regardless she is always on alert for when one them starts giving her too much attention. Jamie is chatty with sporty types even engages in some men talk about girls. While she doesn’t prefer the other type of man she still rather hang out with them instead of girls. She tends to encourage to be braver or manlier when she with them and stand by them when they need support.

In general, Jamie doesn’t really trust anyone and doubts everyone intents especially the really nice ones. So even if she makes friends she tends to keep them at distance that way when they betrayed her it’s easy to let it go. With this method of never getting truly attached to someone, she never feels sad when friendship breaks or they let her down because she never put herself out there in the first place. Because of this doubt, this fear to fully trust other she has never really had any close friendships or relationships.

The only time she lets her guard down around people is when comes to younger kids. Although often rude and mean, they are often more truthful and cute in her eyes. She often takes care of boys younger than her since it reminds her of her younger brothers. Jamie also loves animals of all kind and will something give of an embarrassingly girly squeal and softer expression at the sight of a really cute one.

History: Jamie is the oldest daughter of a very successful company owner and former pageant queen. Her younger twin brothers, Jacob and Jackson, were born a couple years after her. The three of them was brought up strictly in Northern California to be proper, educated and well-behaved. With a slight exception for the younger twin Jackson who was a bit sickly. She was a good big sister and took care of her younger brothers well. When Jamie was sent to a strict high-class private school, she took to her studying very well. She had a very work-orientated mindset and shone brightly above students in her year. There no problems with her, she was the ideal a proper girl. It wasn’t until her early teens that she fully realize how women were ‘different’.

Her mother entered her into a pageant and while she had worn skirts and dresses before it was never for such a pointless reason. Right in front of her, she saw the ugliness of other girls that she was too focus on other things to notice. Their snickering at her, whispering behind her back, the snide comments; the whole thing was nauseating. It was also bad in front of a crowd and their hush replies to her and the other girls. But the worse of it was a judge hitting on the newbie contestant and promising to get her in the top ranking if she gave him some service. Jamie refused with a smack and was disqualified. After that pageant, she never wore another dress and shortly after she stopped wearing skirts as well. Having her eyes opened, she found herself distrusting the people around her, doubting their true intention towards her. Did they really like her, just pretending or did they want something from her; she found herself putting people at arm’s length.

Despite not wearing skirts and dresses anymore, Jamie was still in attitude a dainty girl. The straw that finally broke the camel’s back and pushed her to the over the side was when she learned that Jacob would take over their father company. She didn’t understand in terms of intelligent and diligent, she greatly outranked her younger brother. Then her father told her that running a company is way too difficult for a girl and that she should just prepare herself for getting married. It was insulting, it was infuriating; all hard work, proper mannerism, reaching the top of her class and all she was good for was marry some man. Just the thought filled her with internal hatred. So Jamie cut her hair short, threw away her womanhood and show off more manly attributes. She was fourteen, fifteen at the time so her parents just thought she was going through a rebellious phase didn’t do much but suggest she act more feminine.

Jamie took up sports and fighting-related activities. It was difficult at first but with her strong will and determination, she was able to conquer the challenges in front of her. It was much easier being manly; less time worrying about what to wear, hairstyles and makeup so her desire to be girly just vanish. As she was approaching her seventeenth birthday, the series of events that would change her life began. It was another day at school between classes. A tall upperclassman was forcing himself on a younger girl while students around them pretend not to see. Jamie intervened and was put on his **** list.

She became the center of harassment with people telling her how ugly she is, unnatural manly looking she was for a girl and just general bullying attempts. Even her friends that she had given in to the pressure and turned on her. But she steeled herself and didn’t let it bother her though it made her feel bad about the difficulty she was putting her brothers through. Her indifference just made the upperclassman angrier. He turned his eyes to her younger siblings to break her uncaring attitude toward his efforts to make her miserable. He only messed with them and rough them up once, but that was all it took for Jamie to give him a harsh beating. Even more furious and embarrassed about being beaten up by a girl, the upperclassman fabricated a story about how she just overreacted and wrongly attacked him. With no one on her side except her younger brothers and upperclassman incredibly rich family helping behind the scene, Jamie was forced to leave school. Jackson and Jacob also left and were transferred to a private all-boys school.

Her father was a combination of enraged and ashamed of his daughter actions which she showed no remorse for. While her mother fainted in shock that her only daughter has become a violent brute. Needless to say, this created an obvious separation between Jamie and her parents. It didn’t take long for her father to ship her off to the Tri-city Area to live with his older sister, her aunt, in Hoover Town. Shortly after meeting her Aunt Vivian for the first time she was to enroll in Cantillion Academy and begin her 3rd year of high school in a new place.

When the target is too far to hit she has a bow and arrows for long range skill to hit them though it weaker it still does decent damage. Almost all her attacks have a chance of inflicts some kind of status problem like poison, paralysis or confusion depending on what she put on it. It doesn’t work a lot but when it does her enemy is in real trouble. When physical attacks are ineffective she does have electric attacks to fall to back on if all else fails although the power of it is far weaker than her physical abilities and can only hit one target at a time. A passive skill of hers is a chance of dodging and countering close-range physical attacks aimed at her. Hippolyta is can take physical attacks without taking much damage but doesn’t do well when it comes to magic attack thrown at her.

TheCharredDragon Shall we start the match?

YEAH I'M BACK BABY! AND OF COURSE IT'S FOR PERSONA.

Okay. Well, maybe. We'll see. I just wanna see if I'll feel up to RPing again and I can manage my time for it. Well...if you're still allowing people to sign up...

Can I still sign up? And with two characters? I know you guys finished the first day (still suspicious this is gonna end up a combo of Persona and Devil Survivor with the wording in the first post...) but I saw free spots and that you mentioned that you had allowed players to have two characters so I have two SUs ready (twins; one's Priestess, the other Chariot)... So? How about it?

Hey TheCharredDragon! That should totally be fine, I'll put you under the reserves. Do you also have a Discord so that I can add you to the discussion? If not, I have not problem making a thread for the RP.

Oh...I was wondering why there wasn't a discussion thread... Uhh...no, I don't. (And I have no plans on making one. Anything that's like a chat is usually too active for me to keep up with) A discussion thread would be appreciated but you don't have to.

Anyways...here they are! Hope they check out.

EDIT: Lowered power levels, added one thing to their Other section and did some touching up.

    Name: Raven Desposito
    Age: 17 (September 3)
    Gender: Male
    Arcana: Priestess
Description: The first thing people notice about Raven is that he's always carrying a crow plush with him, a gift from his father he calls, unsurprisingly, Blacky. He doesn't care where he is, he will always bring him. Though, if needed, he will put Blacky in a small carrier bag he usually carries that's black and typically has books on animals, other subjects and a novel or two. Other than that, there's not much remarkable about him. While his sister takes after their father, Raven takes after their mother in looks, with black hair that's curly which he keeps short so that it's easier and less painful to maintain. His eyes are a pale grey with a warmth to them, further helped with a small smile and boyish features despite his age, something he shares with his father. His skin is somewhat browned from staying under the sun a lot and as he loves going outdoors as much as staying indoors, he's quite fit and lean, though not overly muscular. He stands at about 5'1'', pretty short for most Americans but about average for Filipinos.

Attire wise, he likes things simple from a combination of practicality (as he, as mentioned, likes to go outside) and naturally not wanting to stand out. His usual clothes are simple shirts and pants, the former any color except white considering it could get dirty, though he has a preference for black and purple, and many of them are worn and/or patched considering he can easily fix them himself. Raven also prefers sandals and flip-flops, even barefoot if possible, because he finds shoes uncomfortable. He actually does have a suit for more formal occasions, funnily enough colored white with a red necktie and matching white dress shoes, as some sort of in-joke between his parents. For winter, he has a winter jacket that's hooded and also white. Also an in-joke between his parents he hasn't found out yet.

Beyond Blacky and the bag he carries for him and other things, he doesn't really have much in the way of accessories, except for a gold plated wristwatch his father got him for formal occasions.

Personality: First and foremost, Raven is a shy and introverted boy. Don't get him wrong, he likes to talk to people, being friendly whenever he does, and gets especially excited if they share similar interests to his own, but he prefers smaller groups because whenever he's around a large amount of people, he gets nervous, which, unfortunately, happens quite a lot whenever he's in public places in general. It certainly doesn't help that he used to be bullied for a while before for carrying Blacky around.

But once past that, he shows to be kind, quiet and compassionate boy, always willing to lend a hand or ear to someone's problems, especially for a friend because of a combination of his nature and treasuring what friends he has after the experience of bullying. More often than not, he'll give advice to others, and with his calm demeanor, he more often comes off as older than he seems.

This is mostly because he's very intelligent, having read quite a bit on various subjects, including some more esoteric ones. He also has a talent for puzzle and mystery solving, though he thinks he's not very good at it. This makes him rather observant with his surroundings and perceptive about other people, most of the time. This, too, he's not too confident about.

But the one thing he knows the most about are animals. He absolutely loves animals. Feathery, leathery, scaly or furry, he loves animals, always treating them with respect and kindness. Though, surprisingly, he doesn't feed strays, especially stray cats, because of the simple fact that they're dangerous to people and even to other cats and animals, particularly birds.

Unsurprisingly, this bleeds to his other love, sewing, specifically of plushes and dolls of all kinds though he has made some of his own clothes, but he prefers making dolls, mostly of animals and the occasional character from media. If he's not reading a book in his free time, than he's likely making his next doll or plush on his desk. Surprisingly, this is the one thing he isn't shy about, easily telling people, sometimes with a hard gaze if they're being judgmental, that he loves to do it and it relaxes him.

But the one thing that overshadows his love of animals and sewing would be the love he has for his parents and his twin sister, Celes. He's very close to all of them and as such, if anyone dares hurt or insult them, it's likely one of the very few times where he's legitimately pissed off and you can tell he's pissed off when he's raging and roaring like a brown bear. It's also thanks to them he has a strong set of morals and cherishes his friends. And having spent much of his life with Celes by his side, and considering her nature, he often keeps an eye on her and is, more often than not, her voice of reason whenever their parents aren't around.

History: Raven's life wasn't really remarkable until recently, or rather he doesn't think that it was until recently. Raven was born to two loving parents, a few minutes after his twin sister, Celes, came into the world in the Philippines. His mother a social worker, specifically one who helped with adoptions, his father a high ranking detective in the police force and his sister a troublemaking but well meaning girl, all of whom he loves dearly.

Because of their parents' jobs, they were incredibly busy, but most of the time, at least one stayed at home while the other was busy with work and they always made time for special occasions. So Raven always knew the loving care of his parents and got along with his sister, playing plenty of games with her, always losing whenever it came to climbing and hide-and-seek.

His first time at school though, he was scared to go so his father told him he could pick any plush he wants and he picked a crow one that his father then had a friend modify slightly. It gave him the courage he needed to go, but, unsurprisingly, it made him the target of teasing by many of the boys, calling him girly and wuss on the very first day. Also unsurprisingly, his sister would not stand for it and promptly tried to beat all of them.

To say the least, not only did she utterly fail, she also got into a lot of trouble for trying to punch a lot whole group of boys. But since then, Raven admired his sister even more and did his best to withstand the bullying. Thankfully, as time went on, it did lessen to the point of being non-existent, even befriending one of his former bullies. But that first day was and is still a very important memory for him.

High school, in Raven's opinion, was a lot nicer in comparison. True, he remembered plenty of the movies and books about high school and did think it would be just a more worse version of elementary. But it wasn't. Sure, he still didn't have many friends, but it was more because he just didn't feel connected to anyone really than anyone disliking him or finding him odd.

It was during this time he finally learned to sew as Blacky was getting on in years, despite how careful Raven been. It was also at this point that his intelligence was being noticed as he would often be in the quiz teams for Intramurals and would, more often than not, be the deciding factor to his team winning. But it wasn't just him, his sister was also getting noticed. And that's when it changed.

So it was no surprise that the two ended up getting a scholarship to Cantillion Academy. But as nice as it was, it made Raven anxious. He had never been outside of his home country and it wasn't like their parents could leave...except they were very stubborn about it and in fact made sure they would be able to come with them. His mother and his father resigned from their roles and got ready to apply to be a social worker again and a private detective respectively in the City of Cantillion.

So, after much preparations and paperwork, with the help from a long time family friend who's a lawyer, the Desposito family moved from their coastline hometown to the City of Cantillion, where Raven and his sister, Celes, would be going to high school for their third year, and possibly even their fourth year.

But Raven can't help but have a nagging feeling about the place...like something happened here before. Whatever it is, he just hopes it won't happen again.

Though Raven loves all animals, he will admit that crows are his favorite because they remind him of his father.
His favorite folktale is, by consequence, about the Rainbow Crow.
His mother was the one to name him Raven, apparently in honor of his father, though neither he nor his sister are sure why.
He and Celes both like to dance and are actually pretty good at it. It's just that their other hobbies are usually more important for them.
They also play chess and shogi thanks to their parents.

He and Celes speak Filipino, Tagalog and Cebuano.

    Persona Application
    Name:
    Máni, the Moon God
Description: Máni could, for the most part, pass off as a regular man if it weren't for the fact that he stands at a ridiculous 8'7'', and has a slight glowing aura of a blueish-white shade. Though that height is slightly lowered since he's usually slumping in his posture. His face is similar to Raven, except his eyes are a bright blue and his skin pale, like snow. His build is lean and slightly muscled, but not noticeably so.

His attire is asymmetrical. His left side obviously shows the blue tunic and brown pants but his right side has all his "armor". His "viking helmet" is halved, only the right side and its respective horn there and a grey mask that's obviously the "Comedy Mask" representative of theater only covers the right side of his face. On his right shoulder is a pauldron covered in bear fur, and the right of his torso is covered in grey armor. His right forearm has a vambrace and his right leg has a shin guard, both of which are also grey. And he walks around on his bare feet.

Despite his armor, he carries no weapons save a large wooden staff he holds in his right hand that's two feet taller than him that can easily be used for bludgeoning, but its main purpose is to direct his magic at his targets.

Personality: Máni is, first and foremost, very, very skittish. He's scared of every little thing and gets startled by even the slightest noise. His fearfulness also shows in his tone, always having a tinge of worry and the fast paced speed his says his words, nervous that something might pop out and disturb him. Unsurprisingly, this skittishness is a combination of being paranoid because of his vast knowledge of the many things that could kill him and that he doesn't have too much confidence in himself despite being the manifestation of a god and being, well, very big. Whether he's like this because of his height or despite it has yet to be seen.

Despite that, he doesn't necessarily mind talking to people, much like his master. And like his master, when he's relatively calm for someone of his disposition, he's very soft-spoken and kind. Unfortunately, his lack of self-confidence is still present and thus it takes a while for him to talk about himself or voice his opinion. He does, however, have a soft spot for children, and by extension his young master, and if someone harms one or his master, then he is sure to get mad and explosive. He also gets this way whenever his friends or his master's friends or family are hurt or insulted. And when he is mad, he is like a winter night, cold and harsh and unrelenting.

Abilities: As a Moon God, Máni has control over the night, its cold temperature and being its sole source of light, and as such he has a resistance to ice and light, but isn't immune to either. Also as expected of being the moon, his powers are more magically inclined than physical. But as influenced from both what little of his myths survive and Raven's personality, he also has supportive powers. And unfortunately, and somewhat ironically, he is weak to the shadows and darkness, much like his sister.

Bash Attacks: As mentioned, his staff can be used as a weapon if need be, but only if need be. Otherwise it's mostly used to help with his magic even though he doesn't actually need it, much like Blacky is to Raven himself.
Ice: These mostly come in one of two forms, hail (Mabufu) or a ball of ice the size of a baseball (Bufu). The hail being summoned from a small cloud about two feet in diameter while the ice ball, when hitting its target, has a small chance of freezing its target because of how cold it is. However, the ball itself is as fast as however strong Máni "throws" them, meaning, at most, it can go as fast as ball of similar physical size at his full strength. So anything very fast is likely to be able to avoid it. Thus Máni prefers the latter as it's less likely to hit allies and he can direct it more than the former.
Light/Bless: Unexpectedly, he has domain over light, but as the only source of it during the night, perhaps it isn't as surprising. Specifically, he can form a ball of light and can either throw it at one enemy (Kouha) or on the ground to hit a few (Makouha). However, like with the "snowball", the ball itself is as fast as however strong Máni "throws" them, meaning, at most, it can go as fast as ball of similar physical size but is about 25% lighter because of being made of, well, "light" thrown at his full strength. So anything very fast is likely to be able to avoid it. Otherwise, its main use is, well, lighting an area without worrying about heating it up, just like the moon's rays. But like the moonlight, it doesn't light up very far but it is enough to see words on a book or phone within a radius of three feet.
Status Healing: But that's not all this light ball can do. The light ball can also be used to heal status effects, though the same speed rules apply. As such, he can also do it by channeling through either his hands or staff and touching or tapping whoever needs it. The main things it can "heal" though are getting rid of status effects affecting the body (i.e. debuffs, shock status, poison, exhaustion, etc.) only needing a second or few at most while anything affecting the mind (i.e. charm and brainwash) will take much longer to cure, usually one to even three minutes.
Debuffs: The last effect his light can do is cause debuffs on enemies. The same rules apply from his regular attacks and healing, except in this case the ball can cause a debuff for one aspect on only one target (Tarunda: attack, Rakunda: defense, and Sukunda: evasion and accuracy) and if the target is hit again before it can recover, its effects are extended.

    Name: Celes Desposito
    Age: 17 (September 3)
    Gender: Female
    Arcana: Chariot
Description: Like how her brother takes after their mother in looks, Celes is similar to her father in many ways. Her hair is straight and light brown, with bangs that almost cover her eyes. Said eyes are a ruddy brown that almost look red in certain angles, which always seem to have a determined glint in them. Her face is made up with sharp angles, her nose almost pointed which seems to amuse her mother for some reason. And her build is fit and muscled from lots of exercising and lots of dancing. Like her brother though, she stands at 5'1'', which is a pretty good height in her opinion.

Her attire is pretty much a combination of practical and cool. Whenever she's exercising, she has form fitting clothes that let her sweat, that she also uses whenever she's outside having fun with her brother or dancing to her favorite music. Most of the time though, her attire is what she considers "cool" and she got even more excuses since coming to Cantillion. For hotter climates, and her home of the tropical Philippines, her clothes mainly consisted of shirts and pants, usually of brighter colors like red and yellow, paired with sandals and light brown sunhat. For cooler climates, and what she wears more often now, is a white dress shirt with a grey button trenchcoat that she keeps open unless it gets really cold and brown pants. Paired with those are black dress shoes, or black sandals if going to more forested or wet places, and a white gloves. She does have a dress for more formal occasions, a black one specifically for her that apparently is an in-joke between her parents, but unless it's a ball or similar, she'll most likely wear her "regular clothes" for formal occasions. And lastly for winter, she has black hooded winter coat with military green pants and black boots to go with them. The one constant though are her glasses because she's far-sighted and absolutely hates contacts as convenient as they'll be.

She doesn't have much in the way of accessories, even less than her brother considering his sewing skills, except for a silver plated wristwatch that she's very tempted to wear more often but holds back from it.

Personality: Celes is often likened to a missile and for good reason. Whenever she wants to do something or has something to do, she won't stop until she's finished, often times forgetting other things along the way, like, say, sleeping. Unfortunately, she's also very impulsive, more often than not following whatever she feels like doing, and coupled with her singular focus, she has gotten into trouble more times than she could count. There's also the fact that she is willing to help people and thus she also gets in trouble for meaning well but causing more problems from trying to help.

That isn't to say she's stupid, though most people do think that with her behavior. In fact, she's very smart, knowing quite a lot, and is pretty good at mental calculations. She also loves to read books. Novels, biographies, memoirs, guide books, even the dictionary (though she hasn't read the whole thing, to her shame), she loves to read it. And she's quite the problem solver. It's just that with her impulsive nature and tendency to follow her heart causes her to go with unorthodox methods that either work really well or are really short sighted.

Surprisingly, because of this "follow your heart" attitude, even with her strong sense of justice that was greatly inspired by both of her parents, she is very forgiving. Sure, she might be mad or upset at whatever that person has done, but if they truly mean to make up for it and are truly sorry, than she'll give them a chance. After all, she gets in trouble for good intentions and she knows her father was a former delinquent until he got help.

As clichéd as it is, she honestly believes in the good of mankind and thus she strives in her dream of being prison counselor, in hopes of helping people reform and becoming better people. As such, and as mentioned, she always loves to help others whenever she can. And this stems from the idolization of her parents, her father in particular.

And as such, family, and friends, are very important to her. Once she considers someone her friend, she's very loyal but if she thinks they're being stupid, and not just friends but also her family, she will speak her mind, but only because she cares. And she will do anything for them. But if someone does manage to piss her off, as cross the line of "unforgivable" which is a far line in her case, you can tell because she's silent and poised like a snake after its prey.

History: Celes personally doesn't think her life was really remarkable until recently. She was born a few minutes before her twin brother, Raven, to two loving parents. Her mother was a social worker who helped with orphans, her father a detective who fought against corruption and her brother a shy but wise boy beyond his years, all of whom she loves dearly.

Because of their parents' jobs, they were incredibly busy, but most of the time, at least one stayed at home while the other was busy with work and they always made time for special occasions. So Celes always knew the loving care of her parents and got along with her brother, playing plenty of games with him, always losing whenever it came to puzzles.

The first day of school was a different story though. Oh, it didn't have anything to do with her. In fact, she was excited for it as it meant more books and maybe even new friends. Her brother, on the other hand, was nervous, and their father got him a plush crow to help him with it. But that instantly made him the target of bullying and as soon as Celes heard of it, she rushed to her brother's classroom...and nearly got beat by all the boys that had bullied Raven.

To say the least, she got in big trouble. And for a long while, she was very protective of Raven, even when he started to stand for himself. But then as time went on, the bullying lessened...and one of the bullies actually apologized for what he did. Oh, true, the boys did apologize when their parents told them to all those years ago, but this boy was apologizing a few years after it happened and he even wanted to do puzzles with Raven. This had quickly inspired her to change her initial childhood goal of being a police officer like her dad, to a prison counselor.

And so high school came along and she became properly dedicated to her studies, wanting to achieve her new dream, but also still be ready for her old dream in case her new one didn't pan out quite like she wanted. She exercised even more and read beyond her usual selection of novels. This was when she started getting noticed, being pretty much the only girl on her school's basketball team. As far as most people were concerned, she was the reason the school won Intramurals. But she wasn't the only one who was noticed. Her brother was as well. And that's when things changed.

So it was no surprise that the two ended up getting a scholarship to Cantillion Academy. At first, she had been excited. After all, she was sure she'd get a better education there and a degree from this school would at least make her seem more credible. But then Raven pointed out that it would be hard for their parents to come along...except they were very stubborn about it and in fact made sure they would be able to come with them. Her mother and her father resigned from their roles and got ready to apply to be as a social worker again and a private detective respectively in the City of Cantillion. This just made her admire her parents even more.

So, after much preparations and paperwork, with the help from a long time family friend who's a lawyer, the Desposito family moved from their coastline town to the City of Cantillion, where Celes and her brother, Raven, would be going to high school for their third year, and possibly even their fourth year.

She couldn't wait for the school year to start. It would be an interesting year, basically being a transfer student like a so many Japanese video games.

Her father named her in honor of her mother, though she nor her brother know why.
She knows how to read katakana and hiragana but doesn't necessarily understand the words unless they're obvious borrowed English ones.
She's actually quite an avid gamer and her favorite game series are Ace Attorney and Kingdom Hearts.
She and Raven both like to dance and are actually pretty good at it. It's just that their other hobbies are usually more important for them.

She and Raven speak Filipino, Tagalog and Cebuano.

    Persona Application
    Name:
    Sunna, the Sun Goddess
Description: Sunna could easily pass off as a normal human...if it weren't for the fact that she stands at a colossal 8'7'' and that she has a slight reddish-white aura glow on her, and with her straight and confident posture, she can come off as imposing to some. Her face is similar to Celes's, except her skin is tanned, her eyes are a definite bright red and her build is definitely muscular, as expected of someone staying under the sun and is a warrior.

Her attire is asymmetrical. Her right side obviously shows her red tunic and brown pants but her left side has all her "armor". Her viking helmet is halved, only the left side and its respective horn remaining, and the left of her face is covered in a grey mask that's the "Tragedy Mask" representative of theater. On her left shoulder is a pauldron covered in snake scales while the entire left side of her torso is covered in grey armor. On her left forearm is a vambrace and on her left leg is a shinguard, both of which are grey. And she walks around on her bare feet.

The only thing she carries is a metal shield with runes on it that seems to be bronze in appearance but is much stronger than the material. She carries it with her left arm, the shield almost magnetically attaching itself with her vambrace. Beyond that, she has nothing else.

Personality: Sunna is, simply put, a viking. She is loud, her "normal" voice on the precipice between room volume and shouting. She's boisterous, often having a smile and cheering for either herself or others. If she could, she would definitely drink as much ale and beer as she wants, but alas, she is but a Persona and thus does not need to consume anything. But you can bet your bottom she's going to do her best to convince her master, or others, to do it in her place.

She loves a good fight and a good challenge. Now, most people would think that would mean just physical things like brawling or swordfighting or what have you. Not that she doesn't enjoy such tests of strength, but she also loves a good battle of wits, ones involving riddles especially even though she's actually terrible at it and is better at trivia involving, well, what her master knows and the celestial bodies.

As such, the way she fights is just as much in muscles as it is in her mind. However, she might get a little loose if the one she's fighting is, in any way, shape or form, villainous, because if there is one thing she cannot stand is villainy. But, just like her master, she always follows her heart, and if her master feels that person is remorseful of her actions, then she too will give them a chance. And just like her, she's always willing to lend a hand.

She is, however, very oblivious to almost all things social and coupled with her tendency to express how she feels, she has little to no filter on those feelings, often putting her foot in her mouth. And when stuck on something, whether her own goal or her master's, it can make her seem snappy, stupid, cold or, worse, mean.

And finally, she will give her all in anything and everything she does, even something as simple keeping an eye out for enemies, she will do it one hundred and ten percent. Which means she'll give it two hundred percent when it comes to protect her, or her master's, family and friends.

Abilities: As a Sun Goddess, she has domain of the day, its light and its heat, so has a resistance against light and fire, but isn't immune to either. And as also a warrior, she is good in both physical prowess and magical ability, but not overtly so. She somewhat negates this with her supportive abilities, which she most likely has thanks to her master's influence. As expected of her being the sun though, she has a weakness to shadows and darkness.

Bash Attacks: Her main way of attacking, she focuses on fighting with her shield, her fists and her kicks, but mostly the first two. She can also hit multiple targets by throwing her shield, which usually moves like a boomerang and does a circle that leads back to her if it doesn't just ricocheted off of something (a la Captain America).
Fire: As a Sun Goddess, she has control over heat and fire. The former one, the less conventional of the two, is that she can just make the air mere centimeters from her hot, making it almost like it's her skin that's hot. The other way, the one she prefers, is actual fire. Specifically the formation of a ball of fire about the size of baseball which she can either throw it at one enemy (Agi) or in the ground for a small Area of Effect attack about two feet in radius (Maragi). However, the ball itself is as fast as however strong Sunna "throws" it, meaning, at most, it can go as fast as ball of similar physical size but is about 25% lighter because of being made of, well, "fire" at her full strength. Though that's still pretty fast considering her strength, anything very fast is likely to be able to avoid it. Ironically enough though, she can only create one so if fire is needed for more than one opponent, she can only make it so fast.
Light/Bless: Similarly to her fire, Sunna can also control light as she does with her fire. And just like with her fire, she can throw it at one enemy (Kouha) or on the ground to hit a few (Makouha). However, the same rules to her fireballs apply to her light balls except, well, they're made of "light". Though that's still pretty fast considering her strength, anything very fast is likely to be able to avoid it. Other than their offensive use, they can also be used to light an area. Unfortunately, perhaps because they have no heat, they don't light up much for very far but it is enough to see words on a book or phone within a radius of ten feet.
Buffs: But that is not the last thing her light balls can do. Her light can also give buffs on herself and teammates. The same rules apply from her regular attacks, except in this case the ball can only give a buff for one aspect on one target (Tarukaja: attack, Rakukaja: defense, and Sukukaja: evasion and accuracy) and if the buff is applied again before it can fade, its effects are extended.

TheCharredDragon: Hey these characters look pretty good. I think the only thing I'll ask you to change is to reel back on the powers a bit for both characters. It's really fun and creative, but it sounds like they could take on an army on their own. Let me know if you need any help or more specific info, Pending for now, thanks!

TheCharredDragon Shall we start the match?

Eh heh heh, whoops. I was thinking more on end game Persona levels/skills...

Anyways, made the edits! Hopefully those are more in line with beginning Persona skills for you. Decided to outright get rid of Tetrakarn and Makarakarn since those are usually late mid to late game skills. tho i hope i can get it back later when we're stronger...

  18. InnerFlame

    InnerFlame Fire and Ice Combo

    Name: Romulus 'Rome' Caesar
    Age: 18
    Gender: Male
    Arcana: The Star

Description: Rome stands around the height of five feet and seven inches tall (173 cm), which is shorter than a lot of guys but taller than most girls. He is more... squishy than he would like to admit as he was a little too lax over the summer break. His belly and overall body is a bit softer and plumper though, luckily it's hard to tell just looking at him while he is fully clothed. His more rounded cheeks with specks of freckles and smoother facial features give him a younger, more feminine look despite being an older teen boy. This makes Rome's natural gentle smile have a youthful cuteness. His skin is fair and flawless, not including his freckles, though it will obtain a slight tan after he been in the sun for a while.

Rome was once a golden-haired blond, but as he grew older the gold strands darken into light brown color. His wavy hair is long for a guy, going below his shoulders. While it can and has grown down to his hip, the boy got it cut shorter so it's more manageable. The hair is styled with his bangs sweeping across his forehead and the rest of the hair put into a tight braid. He uses a fair amount of hair products to make his naturally wavy bangs go straight when he has it braided. Though when he wears it down or in a loose ponytail he lets the hair be curvy with some maintenance so it doesn't look messy. The dirty blonde hair somewhat frames his pale face and draw attention to Rome's hazel eyes. The eyes' color often fluctuates between a lighter brown shade to a green color depending on the lighting.

Rome has a very modest and simple taste in clothes. It's clean and without wrinkles, though it is often just a common shirt that anyone could buy. The things he wears aren't really set to any particular style. He'll sometimes have on more posh button-up shirts, sometimes he'll be wearing a striped sleeveless tank-top. He might wear some ripped jeans one day and the next time some more formal slacks. But what can be expected is that Rome matches the style and colors of everything he wears so he doesn't look tacky. Lately, the teen has been sticking to more loose-fitting tops and jeans a little too big to wear without a belt to hide his chubbier build. His footwear is normal tennis shoes in a neutral black, and white colors so that it can match multiple outfits. He is not much into accessories, though he will wear clips to keep his hair in order. They are normally just plain ones but he does have some cuter one that he got as a gift. Also, Rome often carries a black shoulder bag with him even outside of school activities.

Personality: Rome has a very gentle and soothing attitude towards others. Almost like a kind older sibling, who will comfort and help when needed. Despite having a calm and composed manner, the boy inspires people to be kinder and to work harder in many endeavors. He does this by being such a kind person, who treats everyone careful and with much care. People find this very reassuring and can calm down more hotheaded individuals. His politeness and goodwill when he speaks really make people feel respected and close to him even with a few words. If one places their trust in him, it will not be misplaced as he always keeps his promises. Because of this, Rome shines and may people idolize him as the nicest and most trustworthy person that they want to be more like. Even with people look at him like that he remains a humble and modest person.

Rome is a serene person that doesn't like much get under his skin. There are very few things that will anger him or make him sad. All the negativity toward him just appears to bounce off him with no effect. He gets joy from the simple things. Just a bright and sunny day can be enough to put a smile on his face. His most joyful moments are seeing others' happy faces thus he enjoys helping others to put them in high spirits. It is a bit of habit of his to gravitate and hang out with cheerful people but also notice the quiet and unhappy ones that people fail to notice. Rome is known to talk to the ones that look particular depress which sometimes comes off as him being a busybody until the person can see his sincerity for their wellbeing. He will be bold and fearless to help those in need, stepping out of his normal compose attitude. Such as standing up to someone that bullying another or pull someone out the danger risking his on safety. Seeing these sides of him, many start to think of him as a flawlessly perfect good guy.

Rome comes off like a perfect guy because that is how he wants people to see him. He is quite indolent actually and would rather spend the day napping or staring out into space. When he has time to himself, he doesn't do much but laze around and watch tv or read. If he can avoid it, he won't even communicate with friends. The reason most situations he doesn't rile him up much is because he doesn't take it personal enough to waste the energy on it. Even is something really does bother him, he will continue to act like everything fine. The teen procrastinates terribly leaving his work to the very last minute when not push to do so. Though luckily he's quite bright and can do much work in a short amount of time. As a naturally multitalented guy, Rome excels at anything he puts his mind to. The problem is a lack of passion which prevents him from mastery any one thing.

Not wanting to let his slothful side be known and for people to feel deluded by him, Rome pushes himself quite a lot to seem more like a go-getter. He has to put in the extra energy to be more interactive and energize. This results in him pushing himself when he already exhausted. This goes will his negatives and less ideal emotions as well, but fortunately he doesn't have as many emotion burdens to deal with. The teen hides it so well people don't know the amount of effort he put to appears as the ambitious, calm and collect Mr. Perfect. Despite his laziness and not taking most things personally, Rome actually a very kind guy that really wants to make others happy but has low energy and drive to do so without forcing himself to be more proactive. Kind of thrust into a popular light and not wanting to disappoint others that look up to him for inspiration, he does his best to live up to others' expectation of him.

History: Born into a single-parent household, Rome never knew his father. His dad was someone his mom that she really loved and idolized enough to be happy with having his child without ever telling him. Shortly after giving birth to him, his mother moved away from her hometown of New York City to live in the Larken Village. Though their household wasn't rich, they were pretty well off. His mother's work kept her away for most of the day and whenever she was home she was often too tired to do much else. So even at a young age, Rome learned to be satisfied with relaxing at home. The time spent with his mother was normally the two them lounging together while she told him about his father. Probably due to the way his mom idolized his father, his description of him was rather ambiguous and seem unrealistic. Rome had this perfect man image of his dad.

As Rome got older and eventually went to school, he never stopped enjoying lazing around. Though he would enjoy activities like running and swimming with friends, he preferred staying home and doing nothing else a majority of the time. It was concerning but his mom believed it was just a phase and once he found something to put his efforts into it would get better. By his last year of elementary school with nothing changing, it became incredibly worrying to her. She tried taking him many places to spark some kind of interest in something, but that didn't happen. Rome was just really happy to spend time with his mom regardless of the activity. After graduating from elementary with average grades, he overheard his mother's feelings. She was questioning where she went wrong raising 'his child'. It struck his very core seeing how worried she was over him, while he was enjoying a lazy, stress-free life.

People who knew Rome would say that he transformed that summer before middle school, from a super chilled boy to a hyperactive one. He would go out and do more active activities, his grades were better, and even seem a bit more stylish. Everyone was happy with these changes, especially his mom. Though he was simply emulating the image of his father that was embedded in him at a young child. He felt like a cheap imitation of an original, but seeing how joyful it made his mother, he continued. As years flew by he became well-liked and very popular at school and around Larken Village. Everyone say him as a super nice guy and idolized him. Since he was seen in such high regard, it became harder for him to let his guard down around others. Rome found himself constantly trying to live up to others' expectations of him, which really made having time to relax and recharge his favorite activity he could do.

Rome only applied to Cantillion Academy because it was expected of him. He was accepted and it was decided that he would stay at the dorm due to the distance from his house. Rome thought that he could ease up a bit on the perfect act since there would be fewer people who knew him there, but there was a girl in his class that knew him that spread all kind gossip about him. Before long everyone in his classes anticipated so much from him, he was unable to ease up and crush their beliefs. Thus his years of high school, while enjoyable was also very exhausting and stressful. He was invited into many sports and activities throughout his three years of high school, where he realized he was good at them but he didn't truly have any strong passion for them. As he entered his fourth year at Cantillion Academy, he found himself at a loss of what direction to take in life.

    Persona Application

    Name: Kartikeya

Description: This persona looks like a tall, young man. His skin is pale and flawless and his build is slender yet muscular. He has long wavy black hair that touches the back of his shoulders. He has a red spot that is center on his forehead higher than his pair of green eyes. The man is dressed very light only having a pale blue toga that covers the left side of his chest and his upper thighs. This gives a pretty good view of his body profile. He doesn't have any footwear or any other clothing except for a white cape tied around his neck that is fluttering behind as he moves around.

Several metal bands of jewelry worn by him and are purple with silver edgings. They are worn on his arms above the elbows, around legs above his knees, and around his wrists and ankles. He has a pendant on his neck as well as a cone-shaped crown that matches the band's color scheme. The pendant is attached short necklace of lavender beads that go around his neck and a ruby in the center of it. The crown has eight silver streak coming from a chess bishop shaped structure at the center. Each triangle section created by the silver line has a small ruby piece in it. Another than a fancy looking wooden bow that he carries with him there nothing to say about the man, Kartikeya, himself.

Kartikeya is always mounted upon a large average human-sized peacock. He has beautiful deep blue feathers from his head to his torso. The back of the wings and the tail feathers green-blue color though there are spots of yellow seen clearly when the tail is opened. The bird's feathers under his wings are a fiery coloration, being a light orange at the tips and gradually turning to a dark orange near his body. His bird legs are quite the popping pink color with sharp white talons at the end of the three toe feet. The peacock typically has his tail closed and his light brown eyes normally just seem to stare without a focus.

Personality: Kartikeya gives off a presence of superiority by the way he carries himself. He is a pinnacle of a perfect leader that states things clearly and gently. Whenever his allies are lost or in low spirits he calmly guides and encourages them. The persona always seems to know the right method of proceeding and the right phrase to say to get operations moving in the right direction. Yet, he doesn't come off as condescending and people are rarely upset with the way to lead others. It not uncommon for even more powerful beings to look to him for inspiration and strength. And like Rome, he refuses to show any weakness in front of companions even when he's at his limit. Kartikeya cares greatly about his allies and would put himself in danger if it meant protecting them.

Because of how outstanding Kartikeya is, most don't give much attention to his peacock mount which is named, Paravani. He has his own personality that is different from the man that sits upon him. While not vocal it is not hard to see the incredibly lax attitude of the bird. He is quick, active, and attentive in battle but when merely standing around he just silently gazes off into space not paying attention to anyone or anything. The peacock will not even move unless Kartikeya gives him the incentive to do so. If the task given to him isn't battle-related, he visibly doesn't want to do it. Most don't pay him any attention because he is merely Kartikeya's mount, but Paravani will show minor interest when directly talked to.

Abilities: Kartikeya depends on his mount flying and agility to zip around enemies and attack them with arrows and electric magic. He can also give his allies a stat boost for a short time. He typically fights foes with his electric magic due to it being quite powerful and hitting multiple foes at once. It deals pretty good damage to those with no electric resistance, removing his enemies quicker. He can also shoot arrows from a distance. He can fire them quickly hitting the same target multiple times or several in a group with short intervals between shots. He has pretty good aim though as it would be with range weapons, not more accurate as being up close. Also with magic, Kartikeya can increase his allies' speed which helps with their movement and dodging ability.

Kartikeya's biggest problem with magic is that he cannot weaken it for a single target so he used the same amount of energy whether is a group of enemies or just one. This results in him exhausting his magic energies quickly if he uses it often. Which why he'll suddenly switch to mainly physical attacks in prolonged battles. The persona's defense isn't his strongest attribute, so he tries to stay out of close range when he can. He absorbs electric magic which he can use to heal any of his wounds and is generally good against magic attack except for fire magic.
