Personality Value and Wurmple

I really would like to know what this personality value that makes a Wurmple evolve.

If someone can tell me, I would like it if I know how you get the number for the personality value. If it requires a binary lesson, then I would still like to know. I have looked into the binary of Pokemon already.

The Personality Value is, roughly, a combination of all values a Pokémon can have. Nature, Gender and IVs play a part in this value. Spinda Spots are generated the same way, and so are Shinny Pokémon.

There are 4294836225 possible Personality Values. Don't bother with them.

Still, maybe I'm wrong... but I doubt it. Long story short: Wurmple's evolution is pretty much random, considering how many Personality Values there are. No way around that, for they depend on 3 unmodifiable values... =/

Actually, I have never thought this question was answered thoroughly, but if TR wants to close it, then she can.

But I would really like to know the zeros and ones of how Wurmple can evolve.

I learnt the binary system a long time ago (I think 3 or 4 years ago), but I don´t think the evo is made this way.

Right, I have learned the binary system quite a while ago as well. I'm learning how Pokemon uses it as well.

Serebii says on the Serebii Pokedex...

If the personality value is less than or equal to 4, then it becomes Silcoon.
If the personality value is greater than or equal to 5, then it becomes Cascoon.

Now, do we doubt the all powerful Serebii? LOL

Edit: I like Wurmple and its evolutions as well, so that's one of the reasons why I'm asking.
