I restarted my yellow, and yesterday I was playing a bit of pokemon stadium and I decided to register a team in for the petite cup.
uh rules are lvs 25-30, 3v3, total level < 80, uh some height and weight restirctions I can't really remember what they were but they will DQ onix. and sleep and freeze clause. thats about it.
SO!
onwards I was thinking I'd try to do this as I level up my main team. meaning I want a team good enough to win with but not keep at low levels while I get good TMs. because I want to make a level 100 team as well and I will use the TMs on them preferably. I can breed stuff via my gold version but I'm lazy and would like to avoid that as well... xD

well why not? it learns thunderbolt at the prime time for this tourney, and quite frankly E buzz is a while away. I kinda wish pika's special didn't suck balls but we all have our little problems. it also does little jumps and **** on stadium because it is yellow version pikachu :x
Rattata lv?

Focus Energy
Bubble Beam / Water Gun
I'm not going to lie, while rattata isn't the king of good stats, he has decent normal stab and hyperfang is a strong early game attack. Focus Energy because this will be stadium and will thus WORK. I am considering water gun because I may want to save bubble beam for my blue version Persian which is being trained to lv 100 and I accidently lost that TM in my blue version... oh my
Mankey lv?
Karate Chop
Low Kick / Submission
Focus Energy?
Counter / fury swipes
ok well I will primarily assult with Karate Chop anyway as it always CHes makeing for a normal attack power 100 if I can get the submission TM I may use that instead of Low Kick for fighting stab. focus energy would be to boost CH rates of non Chop moves. but he'd need to be lv 27 for that and the level requirments may make that difficult.

Sand Attack
I may use spearow but the downside is it needs to be level 29 for drill... I can get body slam by tradeing over to my blue where I made copies of that particular ability. farfetched can swords dance and doesn't need to be at any particular level but lacks Drill Peck

Vine Whip

I would use this for status... can't get razor leaf untill level 33 so that is out of the question =( besides its not like sprout has the base speed to make that CH all the time lol
