Location: Chinatown Petshop

The room of the Chinatown Petshop was richly decorated with rare rugs and lovely couches, a coffee table with freshly poured tea was in the center as a young Chinese man sat across from a customer.

Count D looked away from the woman as he sipped his teacup. He was listening to her speak though the way his eyes look it almost seemed as if he was hearing something else from the back of the petshop. The owner looked back and placed his teacup down once his guest had finished explaining why she wanted a pet.

“So, you want a bodyguard. That is simply enough, I have plenty of canines of the best quality that will suit such a thing… but…” she paused and nodded closing his eyes. “Something else would like to meet you first.” Count D rose to his feet his two colored eyes falling onto the woman. “This way please.” Turning he lead her back towards the back wall and lifting his hand the wall slowly opened.

The hallway beyond the wall was dark and intimidating, wild animal calls echoed about it as the shop owner looked back at his guest before turning and walking towards the inner part of the Pet store. He led the woman down many hallways filled with many sounds, a strange scent of incense in the air as he walked calmly, ignoring any strange feelings the woman might have gotten.

Finally he reached the room he was seeking for and reached out his hand opening it. It was a room filled with incense and small flickering candlelight. There wasn’t much in the room other then a few potted plants and some colorful pats on the floor. There were three figures in the room, two looked male, one was sitting on the floor leaning against a back wall and seemed to ignore the newcommers. One was lying on his side resting his head on his hand as he poked at a checkerboard, the pieces missing.

The third was female and as soon as Count D entered, she had walked off and out of sight into the darker corners of the room, the one that was lying against the wall soon joined her. The one on the ground looked straight through Count D and at the woman and rose to his feet.

“This is Mikal, a wolf.” Count D spoke, “A rare wolf indeed, known for their fierce loyalty and in myth were rumored to be angel’s pets. They choose those who they protect and this one has chosen you.” The Count said looking at the woman, “Mikal is an angelic wolf.”

The count listened calmly as he poured a fresh cup of tea. His latest customer wasn’t much of a speaker it seemed but the Count was not one to be rude to guests. The two colored eyes of the shop owner watched his latest guest carefully, reading body language and thinking over what sort of creature he could offer to this human.

After some time of listening and speaking with the man, the Count D placed his teacup down on the table and stood up nodding in understanding. “This recently arrived, it will help you with your confidence issue. This way.” Turning he went towards the back wall of the Petshop and making sure the man was following opened the door. The hallway was dark and filled with animal calls.

“This way.” The Count repeated as he led the man deeper into his Petshop, seemingly perfectly calm and knowing his way around the labyrinth of a shop easily. Deeper and deeper they went. A soft melody began to fill the air; it was enchanting and warming. The melody would grow louder and louder as count D led his latest guest towards a large wooden door. The Chinese man reached out and opened the door, a loud burst of lovely melody filled the air as birds sang.

The room was lit brightly and filled with many plants, the marble flouring was a blue color around the roof was like a greenhouse. Exotic birds flew about and joined in on a human like song coming from the center of the room. Upon better expunction one would see a large birdcage, large enough for a human being. It had plants within and without, vines growing up the golden bars. Sitting on a stand that hung from the ceiling of the cage was what looked to be a woman.

She wore silky blew clothing, a dress that seemed to just wrap around her rather beautiful body. Her eyes were closed and her mouth open as she let out the enchanting song that seemed to make the man fall into a slight haze. Her blonde hair fell over her shoulders and she was decorated in rich pearls.

“This is a siren.” Count D spoke as he approached the door of the cage, “She will help you learn how to be a gentlemen.” He said as he opened the door. As soon as the door began to even move, the yellow eyes of the siren snapped open and she jumped down from the hanging and landed gracefully. Her song stopped as she walked to the door of the cage and wrapped her arms around Count D’s neck. “She is also very affectionate.”

Alexandra gave the Count a look. A look that would question sanity, truth and etc of that line as she glanced back to 'Mikal'. "He doesn't look like a wolf, or an angelic one at that." Alex said, though sdhe was slightly unnerved at well how the guy was looking at her. And a thought suddenly crossed her mind.

"... this isn't some sort of joke is it? I mean you're not selling me a sex slave or something are you?" And she looked back to Count D with a slightly worried gaze. Well not worried. More like, I could stand you looking different but being a pervert is something else entirely. "Who is this Mikal really?" While waiting for Count D to answer, Alexandra glanced back over to Mikal, wondering what was really going on here.

The Count looked at the woman for a long time before turning his gaze towards the wolf. The humanoid canine stepped forward past the count and walked towards Alex before dropping to one knee a few steps before her.

"As I said, he chose you. If you would rather have a simple guard dog that can be provided. But Mikal is a wolven warrior and he wishes to protect you." The chinese man spoke simply.

Mikal nelt his head slightly before looking up at the woman. "I am your servant." he said in a deep growl like voice. "I will protect you with my life, for you are one who will do great things."

Count D paused a second before knelling his head slightly with a small smile.
"I sell only animals, Miss Smith. This is a petshop after all."
