For those who don’t know, the PHT Virus Outbreak is a series of Role Plays dealing with hybrids: half Pokémon, half human creatures (very similar to any Pokémorph images you may have seen). The series started with the “Last Hope” episode which has been done twice at Pokémon Elite 2000 due to popularity. The series then continued with “The Black Dawn,” which was meant to be a sequel, and then “Dark Aftermath,” an episode of its own which, unfortunately, never really came close to getting off the ground due to outside forum deletions.

However, it’s not necessary to know what happened in those episodes to understand and participate in this “City of the Damned” episode. But for those concerned with the storyline, this takes place in an alternate reality, changing the original outline of the first episode “Last Hope,” while borrowing some of the events and making the situation and setting completely different.

With that said, I hope you enjoy being a part of this RP, whether you’re a newcomer to the series or a veteran looking for more of this genre.

The Story So Far​

It all started… with an accident.

The PHT (Pokémon Hybrid Transformation) Virus was created to be a biological weapon, a virus that could transform a human into a Pokémon hybrid in a matter of seconds upon infection. The victim would grow fur, tails, and other attributes of the Pokémon they became a hybrid of, which was totally random as to how exactly it was chosen for each victim. While each victim kept their general size and posture during their transformation, their outside appearance and color was changed dramatically. However, their mentality, emotions, and psyche were totally unchanged during the process, making it only a physical transformation.

The Insurgent Terrorist leader Yantil Massadar had gotten his hands on the virus, as well as the necessary tools to use it through black market acquisitions. Due to his current campaign against the government of Kanto, he decided to unleash the virus upon one of the Kanto cities, scaring the people to accepting his demands. His target was Pewter City, a city to the North. The attack was exceptionally successful, except the Pewter City citizens and the Kanto government had no clue to explain what happened. Hybrids, popping up everywhere in Pewter and causing mass hysteria. At first, everything was going completely according to Yantil Massadar’s plan. Then… it got out of even his control.

The virus kept spreading, smothering Viridian City and Cerulean City and infecting their citizens as well. And even then, it still didn’t stop. Out of ignorance, the Kanto citizens and law enforcement believed it was the hybrids spreading the virus around, not the virus itself. Immediate action was taken against the innocent victims of the PHT Virus attack, and it wasn’t long before they were slaughtered without question… until of course those same citizens and police found themselves as hybrids soon afterword.

As a result, Saffron City, your home, is completely locked down, cutting off all exits and activating the sentry drones along the outside walls to stop and destroy all hybrids attempting to make their way into the city. Along with that, no aircraft is allowed to fly over Saffron City’s airspace, trapping everyone inside. And Yantil Massadar is hiding in the city itself with no means to escape his own unexpected wrath having his plan to retreat via helicopter completely blocked.

It’s up to you now. Will you be the one to save your hometown from the incoming terror, or will you end up just like all the others?

Your Mission Objectives​

- Restore Power to the City
With the personnel at the Power Plant to the east in retreat, the only resource for power is through a back up generator yard somewhere in the city. While the sentry drones along the outer wall of the city have their own power, the rest of the metropolis is completely in the dark. Make sure it doesn’t stay that way for long or the anarchy is only going to grow worse.
Sub Objective – Find the Central Transmitter: The central transmitter is a communication device used for contacting the government of the neighboring region of Johto, and due to security purposes, it is impossible to contact them through other means. They need to be made aware of the virus’s true nature so that they can begin to evacuate their own citizens before the virus reaches them. However, this cannot be done until power is restored to the city.
Sub Objective – Activate the Three Distress Beacons and Remove Lockdown: There are three distress beacons for Saffron City, one on the North wall, one on the South wall, and one on the East wall. Until these are evacuated, the emergency crews working outside helping to evacuate the rest of the region have no idea what’s happening in Saffron City, nor can they even get inside to help. Letting out the lockdown and using the emergency beacons is the first step toward alerting these emergency crews and getting everyone out of the city safely. Again, the beacons are useless without power and the massive steel doors and gates blocking the exits won’t budge until power is restored.

- Find and Destroy Yantil Massadar
The Insurgent Terrorist leader Yantil Massadar is lurking somewhere in Saffron City, and now the citizens in Saffron know he lives among them due to the fact his Dyne-7 (An obviously made foreign helicopter) was shot down from entering Saffron City’s airspace while the helicopter crew was attempting to escort the terrorist leader from his hideout. Highly armed and highly dangerous, he needs to be stopped before he takes even further actions. And trying to take him alive will be next to impossible due to his insane resolve.
Sub Objective – Find and Capture Najita Kosovak: Najita Kosovak is one of the scientists behind the creation of the PHT Virus. While she may be a key terrorist for Massadar’s cause, only she knows about the virus’s creation, and the only chance to find a possible cure is to interrogate her. She needs to be captured alive, and the only way to do so is to destroy Yantil Massadar first. Without her leader, Najita Kosovak is defenseless and won’t have the morale to stage a counter attack.

Status​

Unknown to most people is the fact the virus is spread through the air, not through the hybrids. Already a thin cloud of the PHT Virus is descending upon Saffron City, and you may become infected by it. And unlike other RPs and true to the tradition of the PHT Virus series, I will be the one making the check to see if you become infected or not.

For each post you make, you have a 10% chance of being infected with PHT. Unlike in the past PHT RPs, this number sticks and stays at 10%. Who knows, you may last a very long time without becoming infected, or you may begin the RP as a hybrid early on. There’s no control over it.

Still, there is much about the PHT Virus that normal people don’t know about, even though you already know how the virus spreads. If you become infected with the PHT Virus, you instantly become a half human, half Pokémon hybrid, as well as gaining that Pokémon’s abilities and powers. Also, the Pokémon you become a hybrid of is your choice. It can even be a legendary, just note that your powers are on the same scale as other non-legendary hybrids. However, the drawback is you become a target and enemy of the rest of Saffron City who still don’t know the truth…

The Personallity is generally fun-loving, but mostly that's the only kind of "Emotion." This character, just like me in Real Life, is mostly Emotionless except the constant (I say this lightly, since I'm not easily amused by the Jokes of others much. Just my own and by things I think are Funny.) Joking and slight Hyperness.
Hybrid Description: I added this myself! Tall, Brown-Eyed, and Black haired, Bron is not very Athletic but is still Quick enough when required. Knowing a bit of Ninja arts helps. Horn-like Ears further up the head and pointing in the backward direction. Blue skin with an added Paper-White color. The only other color is a Red Triangle on his White Stomach, which is never seen, since the T-Shirt always covers it. He wears his usual Jeans and Green T-Shirt, but T-Shirt has holes to allow for the Jet Wings to Protrude. Since the Feet didn't change much, he is able to wear Sneakers.
He is also proficient in almost any kind of Technology, able to fix it, program it, and (to a certatin level) Hack it too.
History: Originally from the small, quiet town of Pallet, Bron likes to travel all over the Regions looking for new Pkmn to catch and/or study. Adopted sister, Dana travels with him. He has a crush on her since they're not related by blood but has trouble showing it, since he generally has trouble showing most emotions except humor.

Hybrid Description: I added this! A bit Shorter than Bron with long, Brown Hair (Which brings out her Blue Eyes), her Beauty is enhanced in this form. History: Bron's Parents have no idea who her real Parents are, or where she was born. When Bron was 4, one night at 3 AM, there was a sudden loud knock on the Door. Wondering who it could be at that late hour, Bron's Parents opened the Door only to find a Man Dead and Bleeding from a Stab Wound to the Back. Apparently he had traveled with it for only God knew how long and finally went to the first House he saw. With this House being on the edge of Town, knowing he will Bleed to Death if he doesn't choose this one, he decided to knock on the door with his last ounce of Strength. In his Hand was a Note, partly covered in Blood, asking that whoever ends up recieving the Baby in the basket on his back to please care for the 3-year-old Girl as if she was their own. The Note had no name, where they were from or who this Man was. A Servant? Her real Father, perhaps? As the saying goes, "Dead Men don't tell Tales." The Note only had that request and a name: Dana. Deciding to honor a Dead Man's request, they adopted her and she has since grown up with Bron and has developed an attachment to him.

Description: Lucifer is a guy with rather tanned skin, unkept, messy flaming red hair and about 2 meters tall, which is rather tall for a fifteen year old. He's of average build, but a little weak on the arms. He wears white running shoes with black and red stripes, a red shirt, an unzipped black jacket and a pair of black jeans. He also wears black bikers' gloves, and also has a black thermal bottle slung over his shoulder which is somehow always filled with freezing ice water. His pokeballs are worn like a bracelet on his left wrist, held together by a layer of stainless steel eqipped with pokeball holders, so Lucifer can easily grab one of his pokeballs and throw it during a match or battle. He also wears a charm with a golden letter 'L' is worn over his neck, and has a pair of bright red eyes, with a scar cutting downards from the top of his right eye.

Hybrid Descrpition: He has black fur all over his body, grey around the stomach, and his hair becomes jet black and ruffles up a bit. His ears are that of a Mightyena's; as well as having a snout. Paws replace Lucifer's hands- so does his feet. A tail spouts at the end of his spine, and becomes a bit thinner and higher, and usually has to resort to walking on four legs instead two. He has to abandon wearing shoes, but wears sandals instead, like the ones in ******. Lucifer's senses are a lot keener as well- in sight, smell and hearing, also becoming a little more aggressive and serious compared to when he's human. However, he still likes to joke around to ease everyone's nerves.

Pesoranility: Lucifer once was a loner, but now he has become rather open and now lives a carefree life. He never loses his cool in any situation, and clamly proceeds forward. Lucifer also likes to joke, and is the pratical joker of any group. He mainly likes lying down on the grass in the day to see the clouds on the bright blue sky, or sitting on the beach during the cooling night to watch the shining stars and sometimes, the bright full moon in the jet black sky. However, in battle, Lucifer can instantly become serious, as if he becomes a totally different person...

History: Ever since he was born, Lucifer never knew his orgins, and was hated by the inhabintants of the village which he called home. The villagers despised him for a reason that is still unknown to him, even until now. Soon, he lost all hope, and his heart was devoured by solitude... until Kortez came into his life. Through Kortez, Lucifer learned the greatest pain a person could ever imagine, the very pain he had gone through all these years: The pain... of solitude. Soon, the duo became the best of friends, but Kortez had his share of troubles too as the villagers began to avoid Kortez, as if he carried some kind of disease, but Kortez ramained strong and still befriended Lucifer. Finally the villagers had enough, and murdered Kortez in his sleep. That broke the final straw.

Lucifer lost control of himself and went beserk, the whole world turned black as he slain off all the villagers in one night, totally trashing the village in the process. When dawn broke, and Lucifer realized what he had done, he took a sword and slashed his right eye to remind himself of the terrible deed he had commited. He then left the ruined village. He was only ten years old then.

Since then, he has been a wanderer, homing his skills as a trainer, through those three years, he also learned poketalk from various people, so he could commuinate with pokemon as well. After a while, he decided to settle at Saffron in order to earn his daily bread.

Pokémon:

Zaber the Absol: Zaber is almost the polar opposite of Lucifer, a loner. He was long ago injuried, trapped in between a rockslide, but Lucifer found and rescued him. As he lost fatih and trust in humans long ago when his ex-trainer dumped him, Zaber always kept running away from Lucifer whenever he felt better at once, only to meet with some incident that caused him pain until he was found by Lucifer again. Finally, after doing this for ten times, Zaber could understand his kind intentions and decide to follow Lucifer in his journies.

Lucied the Mightyena: Losing his family at a young age, Lucied is a very protective father who is always headstrong and tries his best in everything. Treating Lucifer and Javas as his own children, he never hestiates to attack those who hurt them, even if it means sacrificing his own life to protect them...

Javas the Sneaseal: A speedy like bugger, Javas is almost like Lucifer: serious in battle, but always a pratcial joker and a good friend to have around. He always accompanies Lucifer gazing at either the clouds in the day or stars at night together. This Sneasel however, is a bit too emotional and a kinda sarcastic. Overall, Javas is well-liked by all, outgoing and hyperactive as well.

Name: Tiana Morenza

Occupation: Tiana is one of the trainers at the saffron city gym.
Description: Tiana stands at 5’9, with fairly tan skin, and has a lean figure. Her hair is a flaming copper color and flows down to her shoulder blades. Tiana’s eyes are a green-hazel color her mother calls woodland green. Tiana wears a green overcoat that comes down to her thighs and has synthetic brown fur around its hood. Under this she wears a red halter top over stretch-denim jeans. For shoes she wears high-heeled, brown-leather boots that are knee-high.
History: Tiana has led a pretty quiet life she was originally from Saffron and her parents, particularly her mother, are good friends with the retired Gym Leader of the city gym, Sabrina. At the age of five Tiana received as a present from Sabrina, who had taken a liking to Tiana, her first pokemon, an Eevee whom Tiana named Kali. They bonded very quickly as the Eevee had been caught as a pup whose mother had apparently been killed. By her tenth birthday Tiana was sure she wanted to become a Pokemon master as had many before her, so after a great deal of haggling with her mother, who was a worrier, Tiana and her father finally got her to agree to the trip almost exactly half a year after her tenth birthday. By her seventeenth birthday Tiana had made many friends, both pokemon and human around the region of Kanto and found that she no longer wished to travel. So, she returned home after releasing all her pokemon except her three best friends, the Espeon that Kali had become, and with the transformation had received her new name of Esperanza, a very loyal Noctowl who refused to leave her side even when she offered to set him free, and an Umbreon that she had befriended after his old trainer had cruelly abandoned him for a weakling as an Eevee, he absolutely refused to be left again and stayed with her. When she returned home she won a good job as a trainer in her home Gym by her own skill with her pokemon and a recommendation from Sabrina which she also won by showing Sabrina her skill with her pokemon. From then until now, she has retained her job and made many more friends through her battles against those who wish to battle the new Gym Leader whom Tiana is now good friends with.
Hybrid Form: Espeon
Hybrid Form Description: (I added this just like Bron did) Tiana stays the same height but grows the purple fur, a ruby on her forehead, long ears, and tail like an Espeon. Her fur covers every inch of her except for the fact that she kept her own copper hair. The only other thing that changes about her appearance is that her legs transform into the hind legs of an Espeon and her pants are therefore ripped so badly that they become shorts that fit only because they were stretch jeans. She also abandons the boots as they no longer fit her feet and would be a nuisance to carry around, plus she’s had them long enough that she has gotten their money’s worth out of them.
Pokémon: (Everybody seemed to be giving their pokemon descriptions so I decided to do so as well)
Esperanza, Female Espeon: Esperanza is Tiana's best friend loyal and true to the end. Tiana doesn't know it, but her old friend is very talkative and since Tiana cannot yet understand her, she is rather cheeky. That may change if Tiana turns hybrid.
Ombre, Male Umbreon: Ombre is also loyal but, this is because he never wants to feel abandoned again. He is cautious around strangers and stays close to Tiana whenerver he's out of his pokeball, partially to keep her safe and partially because he wants to make absolutely sure he won't get left again. He is much less talkative than Esperanza but what he does say is usually well thought out and often helpful.
Knight, Male Noctowl: Knight is loyal because Tiana rescued him after he had been attacked by angry Beedrill and he feels that he owes her his life and so he stays with her until he can repay the debt(or so he tells himself anyway). Like Ombre, Knight is more fo a thinker but, he enjoys mind teazers and enjoys befuddling Esperanza with his mind games.

Name: Arc Davion
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Occupation: Pokemon Trainer

Description:
Standing at 1.8 metres tall, but having a rather childish face, one could say that Arc was trapped between the two times in life. Childhood, and adulthood. While retaining the childlike innocence in his face, and more or less unblemished skin, he had grown to the abovementioned impressive height.
With slightly blue eyes and black hair that he had managed to get into an unruly mess that stuck out all over the place, he had a certain maturity about him, something that was not seen often on a face such as this. This was not to say that he was completely mature, but it is the wrong place to discuss it.
Choosing a basic set of garments that any Pokemon trainer had access to, he wore the generic baseball cap, a T-shirt of any colour, usually black or navy blue, and a pair of surf shorts or jeans, depending on whether he had any intention to swim or not.
One could say he was attempting to replicate his idol of times passed that was Red. Some would say he succeeded, while others would say he had a way to go, but there was no denying the similarities.

Personality:
Infinite love for everything that deserved it, and undenying hatred for everything that asked for it. While there were many shades of grey in between, it would be good to know that Arc had many people who were either black, or white in his book. In the white belonged his family, his Pokemon, and his few friends; while in the black, there was the whole of the Insurgent Terrorist group, which was quite a number indeed.
Those that he loved he would gladly give his life for, while those that he hated, he would gladly give their lives to. While he despised uneccesary violence, he believed that this was the time when it was required and would gladly destroy anything in his way if he had to.
With little or no love for cash, it was not difficult to see why he chose his career path, even though one rarely got any money until one was at least halfway up the league.
It should also be noted that he is very trusting of those around him, but treates all strangers with a high level of suspicion, the cause for dating back about ten years ago.

History:
While there is little to be said about his history, there are several points in Arc's life that have made him what he is today. Born, raised, and trained in Saffron City, he belonged to one of the wealthier families and knew it. He did not care much for however, as he eschewed style in favour of comfort and practicality, which made his wardrobe smaller than the rest of his family's, but even then, his T-shirts were the best money could buy, and so were his jeans and whatnot. His shoes alone were enough to buy a person meals for a month. Running shoes with the air boost thing.
His intense level of emotions came from the one time, when a group of boys mocked him for being so overprotected, which hardened his resolve and ended with all five of them bruised beyond repair. Not to say that he came out unscathed though.
Nobody knew how, but from that day on he changed completely, and nobody knew why either. The laughing of those made something snap within him, and for a space of another five years, he forgot what it was to be gray.
Everything suddenly turned black or white.
It should be noted though, that he has a knack for getting Pokemon usually found only in Hoenn for no reason at all.

Cyro the Glalie: The absolute most loyal Pokemon that belonged to Arc, Cyro performs and completes orders without question, knowing full well the possible consequences of fighting like that. Having come close to homicide several times now though, Cyro now makes many decisions on his own, such as that of whether something lives, or dies.
Outside battle though, this is a witty Pokemon that enjoys making stupid jokes and dumb stances.

Metall the Metagross: Possibly Arc's most powerful Pokemon, Metall acts robotic in battle, pretending to have a similar desposition as Cyro. However, anyone that saw through their act would actually know that it was Metall that told Arc what he wanted to do telepathically before Arc actually said anything. They found they fought better that way, and stuck with it.
When not fighting for something or another, Metall tends to just float around mindlessly, sometimes laughing at Cyro's jokes and sometimes sighing at any of their antics. Being made of metal tended to give one viewpoints no others could ever understand, such as the innate lack of ability to feel. Or rather a weakened ability, for each of them were a fountain of life in their own way.

Ecto the Dusclops: Being a ghost type and all, Dusclop's personality was nothing like the most famous of their type, Gengar. Brooding quite some before, during, and after battle, Ecto thought out every move very carefully, easy especially since he could easily turn invisible and become impossible to target. Thinking everything through was quite and advantage, although it basically meant that it lost a lot of the Ghost's natural speed and flair that came with the sudden Shadow Balls.
Outside combat, Ecto was still the same, thinking and speaking only when spoken to. However, it is recommended nobody insults any of his friends, or one could be in a world of hurt.

Name: Ryan Matthews

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Occupation: None. He's just on the move constantly.

Description: Ryan is a reserved guy, usually seen standing by himself. The horrifying adventures on the battle frontier island (Read Pokemon:Battle Frontier, another RPG I had a main part in) has shaken him emotionally although he doesn't show it. Standing 1.89 metres tall, he never backs off and would rather try to solve problems with his fists than with simple talk. His other attributes are a pretty well built body figure, very dark blue eyes and brown hair. He usually wears a dark, hooded shirt with the hood drawn over his head and a pair of loose pants (Not tight jeans, but not the typical baggy pants either). On occasion, he puts on his shades to cover his identity.

History: Ryan Matthews, known as Ry among the few friends he trusts, hails from Sienna, a little village on the Vail Islands. Atleast this was what he thought when he was very young. The truth reached him at the age of 7. The current gym leader of the Fortree gym, Winona had sent a messenger to Sienna to find the young Ryan Matthews. The messenger took Ryan with him too Fortree. The trip took several days and Ryan saw alot of things on the way. Finaly, they reached Fortree and Winona herself greeted them. She gave Ryan a hug which was filled with a little too much love for a stranger. What she would tell him, would change him forever. His parents had been killed in an accident at the weather institute and the people responsible for it, was the feared Team Magma and Aqua. Ryan was shocked. He was old enough to understand this so he started crying. But there was more. He had one surviving member of his family left. One that was too young to take care of him when their parents died. This member was Winona herself. She had been waiting anxiously for this day to come, for she hadn't seen her younger brother since he was a baby. She took him under his wings and gave him his first pokémon. A Taillow, breeded by their fathers and mothers Swellows on behalf of their dying wish. It was a shiny one, and a leader in nature, for it already showed some leadership in the little flock he was put in. Ryan looked at the little bird, said his parents names for himself, and hugged the now-named Tallon, thus forming a bond that nothing could ever break.

Several years passed and Ryan grew stronger and more independent each day. He was as reserved then as he is now and usually spent time only with Tallon. He even learned him to talk the human language. He also caught new pokémon as he grew up, making them his best friends. After quitting school, he decided to leave Winona to do some soul searching.

As he grew up, he spent time with his pokémon, training them personaly, doing everything with them, strenghten the bond with them as he did with Tallon. After some hard training, he experienced a pokémon evolving for the first time. This pokémon was Tallon. He started glowing and transformed into a bigger, more beautiful bird. A natural leader. Ryan was stunned with Tallons beauty, and realized that he couldnt call him Tallon anymore. Tallon was renamed to Swellon.

After evolving more pokémon and experiencing more on his quest, he got an invitation to the pokémon league tournament (I'll skip the description of that). He ended up loosing in the quarterfinals, thus getting a 5th place. His confidence sank to the bottom. He thought he had lost everything. Months of hard training for nothing. But the league board decided to give all top 10 trainers a wild card to the opening of the battle frontier (Read the RPG to find out what happened there) where he met Seth Hawkin (The_Mighty_Medicham on these forums). A guy who was going to be Ryans most trusted friend. The aftermaths of the shocking events at the frontier led Ryan to Saffron city in Kanto. He pursues his goals of finding and destroying team Magma and Aqua (My goals weren't told until the very end. Keeps the readers reading )

Pokémon:
Swellon, Male Swellow: Swellon has always been, and will always be, the leader of the group. He takes command and can take down any enemy with his smart moves. He's naturally calm and relaxed, even in the heat of battle.

Jukain, Male Grovyle: Jukain is the stealthy one in the group. He relies on fast and deadly attacks to take down a foe. He is a bit rash and can get out of control when angered but keep his calm most of the time.

Friar, Male Blaziken: Friar is one of the two powerhouses in the group. He relies on direct attack and blazing kicks. He has a protective nature and will always help his teammates. Also very loyal to the trainer and won't hesitate to attack a team member that fails the group.

Hybrid Form: Ryan's appearence stays basicly the same. He keeps his hood over his head most of the time but his eyes burn with intense fire. His hands change shape into that of a Magmar, with longer, sharp claws. His feet also changes shape into that of a Magmar, stomping with burning flames when angered. His Hybrid form is a part Magmar, gaining fire skills.

NOTE: When we both signed up on the other RPG, we didn't know eachother. The_Mighty_Medicham and I got good friends because our history's matched. Now I'm taking his character into another RPG since he's probably left SPPF.

Name: Seth Hawkin

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Occupation: As Ryan, he's tracking down the men responsible for his parents death

Description: He wears blue jeans and a black shirt with a red vest. He has short brownish-blond hair that just hangs out from his hat and briefly in front of his eyes. He wears a normal baseball cap that is blue and yellow. Standing around 178cm tall, he's slightly shorter than Ryan, thus getting less respect from people. This angers him quite a lot.

Personality: Seth is a highly intelligent kid who did exceptionally well in school. He can lose his temper whenever someone gets him extremely angry. He is a loner and doesn't like to be conversed with too much, though there are rare instances were he gets chatty. Seth gets shy and nervous around beautiful girls. The adventures on the Frontier Island made him a better man. Unlike Ryan, he lost his shyness and got more social, both around strangers and girls.

History: Seth grew up in Fallarbor Town with his father. His mother had died shortly after Seth was born so it was just him and his dad. One day, when Seth was 13, he was in Meteor Falls watching his father train with his Dragonite and Salamence. Suddenly, his dad turned to Seth with a Bagon in his hand. "Seth, this is your first PokeMon. I hand picked him out just for you." As soon as his dad handed Seth his Bagon, mysterious men came bursting in. Seth's dad grabbed Seth and threw him on Salamence's back. Salamence and Dragonite flew off with Seth out of the falls. Just as they left the cave, Seth heard gunshots. When Salamence landed and Seth jumped off, Seth was crying so much his vision was blurred. Then, he heard a voice in his head. "Seth, it's Dragonite. You father was being stalked by those people. Now, they will most likely come after you. Run as fast as you can and don't stop until you get to Mauville City. The people will protect you. Salamence and I will fly to the Dragon PokeMon Paradise in Blackthorn City. Good luck." Seth started running as soon as the two flew off. The entire time he was holding his Bagon. Once he got to Mauville City, his grandfather Watson took care of him. Seth vowed to one day, get revenge on those men.

During his time on the island, he uncovered the truth. The men behind his parents deaths was none else, than the Team Aqua and Magma. United by a similar destiny, Ryan and Seth parted up and made thier move on the teams. They managed to get useful information from high ranking members and nearly got killed. Today, he travels the the different regions, looking for more clues on anything related to his parents deaths.

Pokemon:

Scorch, Male Bagon: Scorch is a mischevious little Bagon who was given to Seth when he was four. Scorch's first memory of Seth is Seth sitting there crying. Scorch had no idea why Seth was crying. He is very loyal and wishes to grow into a big strong Salamence.

Wendy, Female Sneasel: Wendy is very aggresive and protective of Seth. She seems to know of his past. Wendy was being attacked by a Charmeleon when Seth found her. She was nursed back to health and became very loyal to Seth ever since.

Bermuda, Female Tropius: Bermuda is a strong PokeMon even though she is still very little. She is shy around new people but warms up to them very fast. Bermuda supplies the team with food from the bananas around her neck.

Hybrid form: Seth does not change much either, he keep most of his human attributes. The thing that is most visual is the big claws and one of his eyes which changes into a weasel like eye. Seth's hybrid form is Manyula (English name is unknown)

skiboydoggy: Are you already a Hybrid? You mention changes and black and white, and I'm a little confused. Let's just "pretend" I don't know what that means. I'm sorry, but NPs rules state that you can't start out as a Hybrid.

Description: Sean has smokey brown eyes and hair. He would be tall but he always walks hunched over. His Brown eyes are hard and his face makes him look wizer than most people his age. He wears a violet cloak that he drapes around himself with a hood which he always wears. Closing the cloak are 4 sets of black metal buttons connected by black metal chains.

History: Sean begun reading books far more advanced than most adult when he was 8 and from them he developed a theory that the universe is fraudulent and that psychic pokemon and true psychic's are the only real thing since they can bend reality. So at the age of 12 he set out on his own adventure catching only the most real pokemon he could. Then at the age of fifteen he spent 3 years on Birth Island honing his skills and trying to enter the real realm.

Pokémon:

Clay(Claydol): Clay is very loyal to Sean and will follow an order no matter what, he is also Sean's best pokemon and favourite species.

Soul(Solrock): Soul is a very focused pokemon who will attempt to win a fight even if it means not using the attacks hes been ordered to.

Luna(Lunatone): Luna is a very wise pokemon and will often dodge or stay back in most battle thinking up its own plan and attacking when it see's the time is right.

Name: Joseph Andelen
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Occupation: Uncover police officer

Description: Joseph stands six feet tall, has short brown hair and brown eyes. He has a fair complexion, and a very keen perception of the world around him. He wears a black beanie on his head, black jacket that he keeps open to expose his dark gray t-shirt underneath, as well as a pair of dark blue jeans. While Joseph appears to be hard in personality and silent on the job, inside he cares a lot for his family and those that he trusts.

Hybrid Form Description: As a Lugia hybrid, Joseph’s skin his soft and sleek like a dolphin, while his body is a ****** white color except for his abdomen, which is a royal blue color. Meanwhile, his eyes are sharp and narrow, while he has one sharp white prong arching out from his forehead with two blue prongs coming out from behind his eyes. On his back are two massive white wings, along with a series of blue runners used for flying. On his behind is a long white tail, with two blue prongs on the end coming out from the left and right.

History: Joseph’s father was murdered in a drive by shooting when Joseph was only 12 years old. Since then the image of his father being gunned down is something that he still can’t get out of his head. And ever since then, he’s wanted to find the ones who did it, so he could put them behind bars for the rest of their lives. As for Joseph, he never did go on any Pokémon journey, and instead he’s worked hard to keep the rest of his family going, along with his younger brother Ben.

Pokémon:

Blazewish (Arcanine) – Blazewish was the Pokémon that the police academy had given him to train, and while Joseph didn’t have too much of a fond relationship with him at first, Blazewish slowly became used to Joseph, and soon Blazewish learned that his master’s hard outside was from a tough childhood. But he saw the inside as well, one that told him that Joseph was in fact a good cop in a dark world.

Stormwind (Raichu) – Stormwind was Joseph’s first Pokémon, given to him as a Pikachu. Like Joseph, Stormwind grew up to be hard against strangers, but open and free toward those he loved. Vicious in combat, he keeps fighting until the end. Meanwhile, when he’s with Joseph, he’s far more open and expressive.

Razorsheer (Pidgeot) – Razorsheer was a tough acquisition for Joseph, but after a long pursuit, he managed to rescue him as a Pidgeotto from a trainer that bitterly abused him. Razorsheer hasn’t fully recovered from the event, but he’s been with Joseph long enough to know that he’s in much better hands now, but it could be some time before his faith in humanity is fully restored.

My writing has become truly deplorable from lack of use; I only hope this fine RP will give me the practice I so desperately need to recover my former ability. Please excuse my terribly, terribly written character. Should any details need to be added, inform me and I shall include them posthaste.

Name: Arken Halgrec

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Occupation: Practitioner of various misdeeds; including, but not limited to, black-market goods dispenser, illegal gambling dealer, and gathering information for crime syndicates.

Description: Can there truly be an accurate description of shadows? If there could be, one might adapt it to fit this miscreant, who so flawlessly fits in with the darkness that veils the world. Standing at an even six feet, if not a tad under, he sports a few unshaven hairs on the chin of his unusually gaunt face. Sunglasses shield his eyes at all times, along with the cowl of his pitch-black sweatshirt. Under the hoody, which sports no logo to remain ever more inconspicuous, a pair of dark blue jeans make their appearance, not exactly tight but carefully selected to allow for optimal movement. A pair of old sneakers allow Arken to pad silently through the night. While not frightening, the boy gives off a mild aura of uneasiness with his shady clothes and apathetic stride.

History: Ark hails from the southern Americas, son of a Mexican woman and rich English man. His father, however, was rich only in name, for he had an inheritance of forty-three million dollars uncovered by HIS father (as gold in Africa) a month before the archeologist had an untimely death due to the bite of a tsetse fly. The account containing the money could only be used for non-material possessions, for Arkens grandfather was fearful of spoiling his legacy; therefore, the family traveled. A lot. They flew across the world again and again, sending their son to only the finest of private schools. Yet, there are always those who hate the wealthy, and so his parents were assassinated. Arken, adopting the name Halgreck from a character he had written about in high school, grew wise in the ways of criminal acts, for his mind, having been so mutilated by his parents’ death, adopted the murderer as a sort of mentor. “Nobody,” he vowed, “will be a better killer than I.”

From then, at the tender age of 15, he secured some pokeballs and captured a variety of pokemon, most of which simply didn’t work as cohorts in his schemes. The exceptions were an abra and an eevee. Both these small creatures gave Ark a boost in his quest to mold himself into an able criminal, and abra, with his innate teleportation, became an easy form of transportation seeing as how the bank account was unavailable after Halgreck replaced the boy’s true last name. Soon enough, they came to other lands entirely as Vanish, the abra, evolved into a kadabra, and there they captured Sly the sableye, yet another invaluable assistant. Strike, Arks young eevee, became an intimidating umbreon, and the four decided on Kantos own Saffron as their next target. What a foolish mistake. Foolish, indeed.

Pokémon: All are avid participants in thefts and other such jobs.

Hybrid Form: Red eyes would glow from beneath his sunglasses eerily as his skin, dark and clammy, burst out into several small spines on his back. His grin, once normal, would take on a horribly maniacal enthusiasm as he grew into the likeness of his transformation; Gengar.

I see nothing wrong with the signup, except I'm not sure how we feel about an evil character in the RP. It might be fun, but I have no idea how that will work out. NP, you have to help me out on this. I have no idea what to do.

Dactylus, man, is your character evil, or does he just have a bad hobby? Like, what do you plan to do when you RP here? Are you gonna be helping the others, or trying to twart their actions? If it's the second, I'm afraid I have to leave you up to NP for decision.

Oh, and please explain how your character got to the Japanese Isles, particularly the Pokemon Area.

I'm aware of this, and I will cut one down as soon as I decide which one. All of them are more or less essential in Ryan's storyline.

Hmm, yes, my history is a bit lacking; I'll add to it immediatly. Also, he's evil, but not in the way that he does misdeeds for pleasure. He performs these acts for money, you see, and probably won't have many oppurtunities to do so with anarchy blanketing his city. Who wants to play blackjack at such times?
