Phys. Sweeping Scyther help.

;227; Aight, I'm training a Scyther for Physical Sweeping, and here is my planned moveset:

Scyther
Adamant (+Atk -SpAtk)
252 Attack, 252 Spd, 6 Hp
Lefties?
Fury Cutter
Swords Dance
Wing Attack
Substitute

Basic strategy: Get a Sub up and SD, if the sub is broken I'll pull another one and FC. Wing Attack is there as a filler, so maybe something better there.
Oh and BTW I know from experience that FC is a real good sweeping move, at least ingame. FC is bliss w/ STAB and Swarm.

No breeding moves please, I don't want 20 min at the Game Corner and another 30 resetting for Adamant to go to waste.

Give Scyther Aerial Ace since his ATK stat is through the roof, even more so with his nature. Aerial Ace also gets STAB'd. Remember, I'm telling you easy TM moves, not moves you have to breed or earn Battle Points for.

;227; Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately I have already used Aerial Ace. I could use my other FR, but I know like two people who have a GBA and won't laugh at me for liking Pokemon. And I don't feel like being with them just to trade. So do you have any other suggestions? Oh, and I also need an item, but I can't get Petaya or any other Berries.

Well, don't go for those type-boosting items, because they only boost 10% and basically just waste your slot. Leftovers are a pretty good choice, but those are hard to come by.

I don't know what EVs you need, I don't know enough about em :/

But go with a move from the ATK stat, because Scyther sure does have alot of it.

VV Yeah, Wing Attack would be good, because its basically AA without the 100% accuracy, and you'd be sacrificing the type advantage over grass/fighting if you deleted it for Return or Hyper Beam.

Reversal is an egg move! Do you want to breed a whole other Scyther?

;227; There's only one problem here: Fury Cutter is the basis of this Scyther. Also, I asked for no breeding moves.

Then it looks like you've already got your ideal moveset. and 0mastar gave you your EVs and item. Although, I think leftovers may be more useful than Salac Berry because that takes a long time to grow.
