How long has it been since I've made an art thread here?
Not since September, it seems...ah well. I've made more things since then, definitely...
So:
These first three I showed off in my last thread...but as it's been a while, and I still like them, I see no harm in showing them off again.
Carbunkle - FFXI version. This was going to be part of a small project I had planned, but that never went anywhere - regardless, I still love this picture, even though it's rather simple compared to some of my other pieces.
And since I've seen this in plenty of comments about it: yes, I know it looks like it could be an eeveelution.
Chikorita Flowers - Done in my "semi-realistic" (as I call it) style. The flowers in its mouth are chicory flowers...
Also, I tried out a different way of coloring on this picture.
Emerald Green - Oekaki. Furret + green color scheme = this.
Now for others:
Lilac - one of my characters. Her name is...well, Lilac, and she's what's known as a "rootachi" (a fake evolution of furret, created by a friend of mine). They're not normally that color, they're normally colored more like furrets, but Lilac is purple due to certain genes in her heritage (thus, her name...)
Ancient Red - old red dragon with messed-up hands. Yep.
Peach - Oekaki. At the time I made this, one of my cats (who has since been put to sleep) had a large, cancerous tumor on her...and my worry about what would happen to her manifested into this.
Recca - Another character of mine. He's a cyndaquil (just with open eyes, since that's how I draw them), he's got funky colors, and he has what I call "bishie hair".
Quilava coat - I forget what triggered this idea...but it's a maskless cubone wearing some quilava fur. x_x
Nidoran - Oekaki. I wanted to try out Shi Painter at some site, and...yeah...
Rabbit - Yeah, it's a plain old boring rabbit...but considering this started out as a mere doodle in one of my sketchbooks, I'm rather proud of it.
And now the last thing, which is something I drew just the other night, actually:
Slakoth - Charcoal pencils, on what's essentially a brown paper bag. I was experimenting to see how well that kind of paper worked.
