Can you give us specifics?
The limit for a regular picture is 200x200, and 468x100 for a banner. Animations can be no more than 500kb. If there's a signature you think is breaking the rules, PM a mod+ or higher so they can deal with it.

You can't put flash movies into your signature. You have probably seen a movie converted into a GIF aninimation. And the limit is 500kB, not kb, which would be much smaller. Now that I mention it, is that 64kb or 64kB? Because 64kB is huge for a picture and you said it looked larger than 64kB, which means the size caught your attention, and you couldn't have checked if it was a bmp, which might have been able to reach that size.
Lastly, a JPG or PNG picture at 64kB would cover a whole page or more, and I doubt no one would notice that

Thanks, MLM. I don't know the difference between kb and kB, I just know what's too big when I right click/go to Preferences.
