Ive had this site for over a year, but I switched it to HTML this morning!The pages are all still freewebs, except the front page. Tell me what you think ^_^not too much crits please...

It's nice, havs good content. But the layout is hard on the eyes.

I know it's Mario related, but please change the content and navigation backgrounds. They're hard on the eyes.

Yeah,I'm not going to lie saying your layout is nice. And I'm also going to ignore you saying "not too much crits".

The layout is horrible. Your "logo" is just a background with a barrage of sprites in it,while the colors in the layout clash. Blue,red and green as well as other random colors. Not even your affiliate's buttons are readable. Let's not forget,you're also using a 3-column layout. 2 column is much better. The text in the section backgrounds are also un-readable as the layout is as well. Your saybox's skin is also terrible and eye-hurting. And if Mikas Pokeball did make that,I suggest you don't use it,and use DragonFree's layouts instead. Over-all,your site is good with content,but without a fine layout,your site won't get any visits.

Because without a readable color scheme,content can't be rated.

The next layout will be better, about spoinks, but i dont really wanna change the layout until I'm finished putting the layout on all my pages, and it was my first layout so...yeah...

What do you mean, only the front page is in HTML? They're all in HTML, otherwise they would just be displayed as text. The rest are frewebs layouts, if that's what you mean.

Well, here's my comment. The layout is rather glitchy and the colors are mathematical, they are the ugly shades of yellow red and blue that MS Paint offers when you start it up. Don't use these colours. Especially not together.

You can improve by altering the colors to less eye-hurting shades, fixing the glitchy background images and making a matching layout for all your pages, not having your own layout on the index and then freewebs' layout for everything else.

Actually, Faltzer was the only person to post a good site improvement strategy, because contrary to popular belief, this forum is for getting your website fairly evaluated and criticised by people who have been in web design longer than you have; not for getting your head inflated by a bunch of suck-ups telling you your site is great, couldn't be better, has a great layout, while your visitors are gouging their own eyes out at how horrible your layout colors are.

I understand that you are relatively new to HTML, but consider our "mean" comments to be guidelines for your improval. I think that should be clear.

It's called constructive criticism. And I was pratically the only one who critted the website. And you have to accept mean comments if you really want to improve your "site".

No. Faltzer only commented because he hated the layout and that you should change it. He posted to help you, so you would get a more interesting layout and your site would be better.
