I recently got PokeRus and I have a question: (in emerald)

I got it on my Gengar and I placed it in my box (not before giving the virus to lots of backups first) and then I trained it, I put it back into its box afterwards and went to bed, I did this around 3 or four times over a two week period, but the virus still dissappeared. I thought if you keep it in the box it doesn't dissappear?

I have pokemon in my box which have been there since they got the virus (never taken out of the box) will the PKRS dissappear if I take them out? (so I can infect others?) (they have been in the box for a little over 2 weeks, they still have the virus)

From my experience, if you already maxed out your pokemons' ev's, the pokerus will disapear.

It will probably take a few more days out of the box until it disapears.

yeah, the evs were maxxed.

So say if I got my blaziken out (which has been out of the box max 1 hour) I can have it out for lets say 5 hours, put it back, take it out again some time, put it back, and take it out equivalent of 48~ish hours (two days) it should stay for that long right? (btw Blaziken, I'm pretty sure its evs are maxxed, What Do I Do?

Nope, I infected my calm Eevee & finished it's EV training in 2 hours. As a level 41 Umbreon he still has it.

And if you already infected other pokemon and it's fully EV trained why the hell do you care?

b-i-gaskme, do you play your Emerald game late at night, say around midnight? The counter for how long Pokerus lasts ticks when the game clock rolls over to midnight. If you have a Pokemon with Pokerus out of the box at that time, even if it has only been out for a couple of minutes, it will lose one day of Pokerus after midnight. You have to make sure that any Pokemon you want to have keep its Pokerus is in the box every day when your game thinks it is midnight, whether or not the game is being played at that time.
