I want a good selection for people to choose from. The only thing is, besides Treecko, I'm not sure what pokemon others would want to trade for. So maybe you can give me some ideas for pokemon I should either breed or catch more of.

Keep in mind that Emerald is the only pokemon game I have currently.

I think there is already a thread like this, and it would help if you said which JAA event your going to

I see there are many JAA events and forgot which thread it is in, probably in one of the other forums. The one closest to me won't come until mid-late July when it comes to Boston or New York.

Off Topic: Do you live in boston or new york.
On Topic: If you have jhoto starters maybe and some hard to find jhoto pokemon since everyone is missing a few of those.

what i usually do is have a few guys on hand with TM/egg moves, the right nature, and flawless stats. that way, you have stuff to trade to pretty much everybody.

(ex: modest treecko with crunch and dragonbreath, flawless sp. atk and speed might get a lot of good offers, and it's not that hard to get a bunch of them.)

also, where is there a list of all the planned stops? i'm trying to find when they're coming to south florida.

Off Topic: I actually live in Connecticut, which is between both Boston & New York.
On Topic: go to http://www.pokemon.com and there is a list of where the events will be.

You can't go wrong with a Pokemon holding a Rare Candy or TM, and good stats. :)

The only cables they have are for the downloads (Celebi and the 20). They won't let you borrow them.

I'll trade a Snorlax with Shock Wave,Surf,Rest, and Hyper Beam lvl5 at the Cincinnati one. Or a Lileep lvl5,3 Elektrikes(with Lightningrod).I can't remember the others, and I might not bother with Elektrikes. I realy want a Treecko, and Latias, and maybe a Chikorita.

I didn't think they had em' just making sure what all I need to bring.

Looks like I'll have to bring my madcatz one. It's a gba cable that also has the connections for a GBA/GC cable. The only problem is that i never tried the GBA to GBA connectors, though the GBA/GC connection works just fine.

I used one (Madcatz cable) on Saturday. It worked fine.

Okay, here's what I have planned so far:

-Absol (rare)
-Feebas (easier to trade for one)
-Treecko (Most people pick Torchic, so they won't have it)
-At least one of the GSC starters (If they don't have Colloseum, they'll want some of the others)
-Skitty (rare)

More like Timid, and if they're breedable Thunderpunch and Substitute. Though having a modest one too isn't bad if someone wanted an Endeaver varient.

nope, sub and T-Punch are move tutor-only moves. and modest or timid is mostly a matter of preference, unless you're playing on NB or with a really competitive group of friends.
