A variation of the ResTalk set. To be honest, I think the elemental punches should work just fine, though you might also need a STAB move. As lv37_mohawk_knight mentioned, Pain Split is also a viable option.

Well, with Leech Seed, you get more PP, and you only have to waste one turn to "activate" it. With Synthesis, you only get a meager 5 PP, and you take up too many turns when you try to heal. Also, Synthesis depends greatly on the weather. If it's raining or a sandstorm is brewing, the HP recovery gets cut by about half, or more.

You do not need a Dragon type move when Ice types pose the biggest thread to Torterra. Stone Edge to tackle that. Curse for Atk and Def boost in exchange for Speed (drops), EQ for STAB.
