Playing around with color

Eh, yeah, more crap from me. Of course, it's Schrödinger from Hellsing.

Normal sketch. Went about this one the same as usual, just a pencil and etc.

Colored. For this copy I traced the origional with some macron pens, and colored it with watercolor markers. >>; It's kind of smudged, probably because of the tracing paper, but I still like the turn out.

Comments make me happy.

really shoddy coloring, I don't like it. Is there any more besides the darkest shade of color with white, or is it something with a scanner perhaps?

I'll admit I'm not the best with coloring. It's just the various shades of colors, and white, that's it. As the title implys, I'm just playing around to see different effects I could get with markers. I'm going to go back and try something different, but for now that's all I've got.

It's okay, I think I would use oil map pencils, and and ebony pencil for shading if I was to color it, but it's a great drawing.
