I have a site that I am working on with two friends about pokemon, plushies, and Nintendo. Most of it is still under construction, but it is ready to be viewed. Here it is:

Well first, fix the banner. It goes behind some of the text on the main page and makes it hard to read. :x Fix the marquee too, for the same reason. And uh, there's nothing wrong with the layout, except that it's too...plain. >_> It could do with a bit of sprucing up. And it needs more organization too. Finally, plant a Google bomb, and you're ready to go. 8D

It needs work, but it has potential. :)

I assume you were using something other than Internet Explorer... I just found out about that problem about the header <_<. I am trying to make a better layout... but I don't really know how. And I have tried to add a URL to Google but it won't work. Thanks for the advice!

No I really do like Freewebs XD. If you have never tried it don't make baseless assumptions. It's the best free host I've ever tried.

Is having a blog-like front page bad?

I've used Freewebs, it was meh imo.
And unless you want it to be a blog yes. You should save it for news and announcements.

I don't really put stuff up about my life on the front page... but yeah I do kinda ramble a lot.

Freewebs has no ads in HTML mode. That's why its awesome.

I see no annoying black ad. Unless you are talking about the toolbar. That can be turned off.

If you look at my site there is no toolbar and why? Because I turned it off. So yeah there are no ads.
