Please help me with my Milotic

here goes...

Milotic Level 100@Leftovers
EVS: 255;HP, 255 Special Defence
Abilitie: Marvel Scale
Nature: Calm
Moves: Hydro Pump- i know most of you would suggest mirror coat, but for some reason i just dont like that move AT ALL. So as a alternate move should i get subsitute? please help with this move.
Ice Beam
Surf
Recover

Your EVs are too simple. It's better off with more Defense, less Sp.Defense, and some Sp.Attack too.

You don't need Hydro Pump AND Surf. Both are the same type and BASICALLY do the same thing. Milotic has the Sp.Attack to pull off a Surf Attack, so get rid of Hydro Pump for...

Hypnosis (but that means you'll have to breed...), or I guess Toxic if you don't want to rebreed. :/ Hypnosis is the best choice, though.

Golden Egg

Pokémon Breeder
Bold
I'm unsure about the Ev's, but: 252 Def 212 Sp.Def 44 HP
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Hypnosis/Mirror Coat/Toxic/Filler

Edit: Beaten Twice...

Filler is a move that is used when the pokemon really doesn't have any other options and can be replaced for hidden power and the toxic tm is found in the Fiery path.

Hush, keep it down
I find Surf/Ice Beam/Toxic/Recover a good Milotic set. With its large defenses Milotic makes quite a good Toxi-staller, Surf gets STAB and Ice Beam is a decent filler.

As far as natures go, I'd take Modest. You could always use more Special Attack, you won't miss the Attack you lose, and Milotic's defenses are high enough already if you factor EV's and such into it.

Feebas can egg move Hypnosis? Wow, I didn't know that.

The set that I use, you have to breed it but Hypnosis on a Sp Sponge is well worth it.

Milotic @ Leftovers
Trait: Marvel Scale
EVs: 252 HP, 100 Defense, 58 Special Attack, 100 Special Defense
Calm Nature (+Special Defense, -Attack)
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Hypnosis

Ok thanks for all the replies people, thanks for letting me in on where to get toxic, unfortunitly, i have NO berries that are indigo or blue pokeblocks (i was dumb to waste them on another pokemon) so rebreeding is out of the question, im not gonna bring a level 100 feebas to the frontier lol.

you can get more. save before talking to the berry master and his wife, and reset until he gives you kelpsy or hondew, or something else that gives you indigo or blue. kelpsy/hondew give you indigo pokeblocks, around level 23, at the lilycove contest house. (the 4-person blender)

pamtre would be better, but you can only get one per game, so if you've already used it then you can't get another. if you haven't, though, say "challenge contest" to the berry master's wife. be sure to plant it and grow more than you need so you don't run out again.

always use bold nature

calm is pointless, you shouldn't be leaving it in against electric/grasses anyway

modest is pointless as it isn't really meant to be a sweeper.

without bold you're just asking to be beaten by random physcial attacks

Sweepers = Pokémon with high Attack/Sp. Attack that can easily defeat other Pokémon. They generally have good Speed as well, so they can land those devastating blows quickly.

Tanks = Pokémon with high Defense/Special Defense and HP that can take blows quite easily. I.e., Blissey, Skarmory, Snorlax, Regice, Milotic, etc.

Special Walls = The Special variant of a Tank, one that takes Special moves very well. Snorlax, Blissey, and Regice are all excellent Special Walls.

And as long as we're discussing terms, if you ever hear the word Annoyer, just laugh. Annoyers do not work anywhere at any time in any way, and they should never be used.

Some Examples;
Special Sweepers-Starmie, Alakazam, Sceptile. Have High Sp Attack, and Speed.
Physical Sweepers-Aerodactyl, Heracross, Salamence, Metagross. Not always the speedyest things, but with a Choice Band it doesn't always matter. Switching into all these things is difficult.
Tank/Wall-Skarmaroy, Regirock, Steelix, Forretress. Absorbs physical attacks and then usuas Spikes in your face.
Special Sponge/Wall-Blissey, Regice, Snorlax. Take special hits with their minimal/non existant special weaknesses.

There isn't a thread about it? I thought there was...

*edit*
Beaten to it!

Actually:

Tanks: Pokemon who use stat upping moves like curse to raise their durability.

Ex: Snorlax, suicune, swampert, etc

Walls/Sponges are pokemon who take physical/special attacks.

Ex: Blissey, skarmory, snorlax(even though he can be a tank), regice.

Some tanks could be walls/sponges such as regirock automatically.

Some tanks have to stat up to become walls/sponges such as Cmslowbro.

Some pokemon can be tanks and sweepers such as Raikou as long as it calm minds up.

Deoxys Prime

Time will tell.
Milotic@Lefties
Modest/Bold
Recover
Surf
Mirror Coat/Hypnosis
Ice Beam

Surf for STAB, Recover to restore health (Bulky defenses is why I suggest this), Mirror Coat to block GardyBolt, ZamPunch, ScepBlade, and so on, Hypnosis is also good to put a CBmence/CBking to sleep. Ice Beam for Dragons/Grass.

If you want to Mirror Coat, go for Bold, if you want to put em to sleep... Either one works. Modest is good for higher offense, Bold is better for a more tankish pokemon. I know you hate Mirror Coat, but it IS effective.
