I'm hoping to lead with lunatone for Cosmic power, and then tailor the battle to the pokemon i'm fighting, usually BPing Def/Spe Def to Ninjask or Volbeat and Bping the continued bump to one of the other three as necessary.

Baton Pass does work twice, right? Any suggestions in particular? What Items should I look for, assuming I have any of them needed? Thank you for helping.

Ha. Format>you. If it is for the XD tornament, which is ingame, I believe, You are in the wrong place. If I'm wrong, you may flame me. I'm used to it.

Thank you though for the help so far. I was thinking Lunatone would be a good lead, as it has high spec def already and Cosmic power only helps. It can survive 1-2 hits and still bp the stat bumps as necessary. I felt leading with ninjask was a little too cliche. But, if you can baton pass twice before losing ability boosts, I can go Lunatone => Ninjask/Volbeat =>Machamp/Alakazam as the fight dictates, set up my sweep and go, blissey for clericking.

There's a tourney in portland, for pokemon on the road

If this is for the nintendo tourney then its a 2v2 team and this nothing like a real one. Who's the idiot thats gonna let jask and Lunatone setup? If anything they'll gang up on you and instantly KO you. Who's gonna let Volbeat even Tailglow up? and I don't see a single PROTECT on this team, and what the hell does champ need swagger for, will it help jask well it better be lead if you want to help set it up but then what will you pass to? You need serious team building help and well the only one I can think of is by pasting this in your url and reading Shiny' zangoose's guide..

Don't the folks over at smogon have some 2vs2 guru or something? Or is everything there 1vs1 based?

The nintendo hits the road tour is a 2v2 team tourney?... Aw nuts, okay, that changes a lot. Thank you. And hey, I didn't think the team was so bad as to warrant flaming. It was an honest attempt at something UU. I realized it wouldn't work and have been working on it, that's why I thank you all for the opinions.

In any case, I'll work on a 2by2 team for this now. Anybody know where I can find the official Tournament rules for this coming up? Thank you.

Oh well sorry about that. This could come considered more of an OU team but its not very suited for the 2v2 metagame :/
