you have almost every pokemon move that ash uses, I think this team is almost perfect!

Although this team is for impressions, the team is a very good one indeed, anime wise, gamewise, you would get kicked in big time :p.

Too true.

Having an Ash-based team only limits what you can do.

Raichu @ Leftovers
Modest (+SAtk, -Atk) / Hasty (+Spd, -Def)
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Surf / Focus Punch
- Encore

Modest at best, Surf being obtainable through Pokemon Box. If you can't do that, SubPunch with Hasty.

Sceptile @ Leftovers
Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Leaf Blade
- Thunderpunch

SubSeed Sceppy.

Crawdaunt @ Leftovers
Brave (+Atk, -Spd)
- Swords Dance
- Return
- Ancientpower
- Surf

Obviously SD up and do whatever. HP [Rock] is of course more ideal than Ancientpower, but I can't really list that as a primary option on an InGame team.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Impish (+Def, -Atk) / Relaxed (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Rest
- Counter / Body Slam

Donphan altered to adapt InGame conditions. You don't really need Roar here.

Swellow @ Choice Band
Jolly (+Spd, -SAtk) / Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aerial Ace / Fly
- Return
- Steel Wing
- Sleep Talk / Quick Attack

CB Swellow, keep Fly if you want since this is InGame. STalk is to absorb Sleep Powder and Co. QA is just filler.

Torkoal @ Leftovers
Brave (+Atk, -Spd) / Relaxed (+Def, -Spd)
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide / Sludge Bomb / Explosion
- Fire Blast

Standard Torkoal iirc. (Odd as that sounds to say...)

I doubt you will ever care about natures so I didn't do them.

Yeah i don't give a thing about natures. I just catch the Pokemon, and raise them as good as i can.

But sometimes, i try to compensate my pokemon that have bad natures. Like my Steelix, its nature increases Sp. Atk, and decreases Def. I just gave him lots of Iron to compensate it. I have enough cash with me anyway.

Ash based team? I never heard that. Very creative, and all the moves are actually used by Ash.
Pretty good team, but I don't make Ash based teams...
Also, why don't you care of EV's?

EV's are not the easiest thing to learn.

Mabye you could put Charazard/Tauros/Snorlax/Heracross un there since ash has these pokemon.

Ya, but s/he is trying to stay with Ash's current team in the anime.

On topic: I actually think its a pretty good team. A good in-game team. I would recommend trying a hand at making ash's old teams. Think you would do well with it. For the others that posted here, FlameTrainer did post this in the In-Game Team Rate, so pointing out that the team will not survive in compitition and totaly rebuilding the team against the main idea that the team was created for doesn't help anyone out.

Perfect? This team? You've gotta be kidding me. For the record, Tauros / Heracross / Sceptile / Donphan / Lapras / Snorlax makes the best Ash team out of his choices. I loathe that mustard rat with a passion.

Stick with ZNtelle or Shadowblazer's suggestions.

Wow..... Um this is again based off of Ash's current team, so those Pokemon cant be used. Also, for the Pokemon and movesets in the show, it is the perfect team. Followed the show very well. I wouldn't change it at all.

First thing, anime = / = games. What works in the anime may not work (most of the time) in the games. Like having Sceptile learn 3 grass moves.

Please stop rating or I'll be losing more brain cells than I normally have to.

Frost, this is a in-game team. It doesnt really matter if they have three grass moves or one. He/she posted here to see if the team was close to the team, not if it was a perfect in game team. Dang relax. The team is perfect for what it was made for, copying Ash's IN ANIME team.

Corphish Ash based??? Get Blastoise =P
Moves:
Bubblebeam
Crabhammer
Harden
Dig

Donphan errr....
Moves:
Rollout
Hyper Beam
Earthquake
Take Down

Swellow
Moves:
Fly (This is ingame =P)
Facade
Steel Wing/Hidden Power (ground)
Aerial Ace

Torkoal
Moves:
Curse
Heat Wave
Body Slam/RockSlide/Earthquake
Amnesia

Torkoal needs Amnesia so it can for staying power against water attacks. Torkoal is not a special sweeper really, but I prefer Heat Wave over fire blast. But Flamethrower over, Heat Wave. But in Torkoals case, to teh heat wavers

pokemans...lol
