Ico Sassy is not (+SDef -Spd).

Yes it is. Sassy raises Special Defense and lowers Speed.

I'm gonna add that Shadow Ball is another option for Snorlax instead of EQ on the set Icosahedron suggested. :/ It's a way to hit Ghost Pokemon. (like Gengar)

You should. Only noobs don't use stat-raising moves.

Though Earthquake is more important for the far more prevalent Rocks and Steels, especially since in-game Gengars never carry Focus Punch.
