His Scyther always seems eager to battle. Which is why he used it in the Battle Frontier episode.

And he could get another battle focused Pokemon if he gets that Galarian Farfetchd

Which is great and all, but their battle prowess only really means something if he's going to use them in battle and improve on their skills. Scyther's poor showing in that Battle Frontier episode was such a shame, especially since it's led to no visual attempt at improvement on Goh's part..

I by no means dislike his character, but Goh's whole reason for travelling is boring and needs to be improved on, in my opinion.

G Farfetch'd looks setup for a Go capture anyway, perhaps that can be the sole reason Go starts battling far more. And it's set to appear in ep 27 after the Raihan vs Leon match is over so its not going to have much focus anyway.

Satoshi has decided to enter the "Battle Festival", a battle tournament held in the Kalos region. Lots of "Pokémon World Championships" participants are attending this tournament, so it's a gold opportunity to increase one's rank! After successfully winning his way through several battles, Satoshi ends up having to fight Corni, a Gym Leader he's previously battled in the Kalos region, in the match where his progression to the Super Class is at stake. How is Satoshi planning on taking on Corni's Mega Lucario?
