PMD2 Rate My Team / Moveset Help [Again, READ FIRST]

Hm, I see. While this is true for some lower level stats of Bulbasaur, it is not true of the higher stat gains. At about level 75, Ivysaur gains more stats per level. However, there also seems to be some give and take in the mid-range stats. I sure it is different for each pokemon, as well. Although, I still wonder how useful/effective it would really be to be so mindful of these stat gains. This especially applies to PMD where there really is no possibility of competitive battling (however, I discount the trade-team thing in sky).

Nonetheless, I wonder if these seemingly trivial stat gains would make a difference or not. I think it would certainly be interesting, although tedious, to examine a myriad of combinations of evolution at different levels to find the best possible stat gains.

But, alas, we also do not know if these stat gains apply to Sky. Still, it would be an interesting project.

Ok, I'm currently training for Hidden Land.

Team:

Riolu (Keith) Lv. 41
Quick Attack
Force Palm
Iron Tail
Wide Slash

Totodile (Tide) Lv 41

Water Gun
Ice Fang
Crunch
Aqua Tail

Ampharos Lv 36

Fire Punch
Cotton Spore
Thunder Wave
ThunderPunch

Larvitar Lv 35

Rock Slide
Leer
Thrash (currently not letting it use it)
Dark Pulse

Any fixes would be appreciated. Am training to 50ish

Edit: Yes I realize Amphy and Larvi can't join in hidden land but it makes it easier for post story training.

Ok, I'm currently training for Hidden Land.

Team:

Riolu (Keith) Lv. 41
Swords Dance
Crunch
Close Combat
Wide Slash

These suggestions because Riolu/Lucario(If you're going to evolve him) are physical attackers. Quick attack is more of a, "Haha, I hit you first!" kind of move, unless you are going to give it ginsengs, I would lose it.

Totodile (Tide) Lv 41

Water Gun
Ice Fang
Crunch
Aqua Tail

Ampharos Lv 36

Fire Punch
Cotton Spore
Thunder Wave
ThunderPunch

Larvitar Lv 35

Rock Slide or Stone Edge
Focus Punch
Flamethrower
Dark Pulse

These suggestion are coming from my own Tyranitar, I would link Dark Pulse and Flamethrower, Stone Edge,Rock Slide and Focus Punch for back up!

Any fixes would be appreciated. Am training to 50ish

Edit: Yes I realize Amphy and Larvi can't join in hidden land but it makes it easier for post story training.

Suggestions in bold.
Hope this helped! ^.^

-Water Pulse (long-range, STAB)
-Tackle (great PP)
-Mud-Slap (ground, accuracy is lowered)

-Discharge (monster houses)
-Quick Attack
-Shock Wave (long-range)

Larvitar lvl 51
-Rock Slide

Do you also know where specific TMs can be found or is it just random? For example I wanted Grass Knot for my Pikachu, but I haven't found it yet...

Thanks a lot!

I don't know if you should trust me on this, but mAdkip, your team looks pretty good, especially since you reasoned it out so well. One recommendation is that your back Pokemon have some sort of long rang attack, to counter attacks from behind better, especially if you're in a path, not a room, and you have to go through other teams members to help out.

I'd also like someone to rate my team.

Lucario;448;- lv 60 male
First position
Moves:

Aura Sphere +1- Long range front advantage.
Dragon Pulse +1- Good power
Dark Pulse- Usefull when surrounded
Detect- Usefull for surviving

Jolteon;135;- lv 61 female
Second position
Moves:

Thunderfang- High attack stat
Double Kick- High attack stat
HelpingHand- Very helpful of course, especially due to position.
Trump Card- I like this move just because

Noctowl;164;- lv 49 female
Third position
Moves:

Air Slash- Good move with stats
Zen Headbutt- Good move with stats
Confusion- Good move with stats
Roost- With low HP, it's useful

Metagross;376;- lv 51 genderless
Fourth position
Moves:

Bullet Punch- Counters attacks from behind
Psychic- Powerful with stats
Agility: Speeds team up when enimies are near
Iron Defense- Helps survive attacks from behind

And that's all.

Your team needs work. You need a pokemon that can sweep monster houses. The main problem with your team is that it is made up of just powerhouses. You need a team with just two powerhouses, a status abuser, and a support pokemon. A support pokemon can be just one that has moves like heal bell, safeguard, agility (which you have), moonlight/morning sun, etc.

Murton

Once you were lost.
Lucario lvl 62 (Most of the time my lead)
Moves:
Aura Sphere
Dragon Pulse
Dig
Focus Punch (Really useful at boss battles, and I have NoCharger IQ to defeat outlaws)

Ninetales lvl 60 (She evolved yesterday =D)
Flamethrower
Fire Blast
Dark Pulse
SolarBeam

Dragonair lvl 48 (I'm strifing for lvl 55 at least, so I can evolve him)
Water Pulse
Fire Blast
Dragon Rush
Slam

Kirlia lvl 47 (When I find a Dawn Stone, he will evolve)
Psychic
Confusion
Magical Leaf
Imprison

Actually I don't agree with you that much. I think Yellow Aura's team is very good. I also use only sweepers, and I haven't had any difficulties yet. I think that walls and status annoyers are only useful if you battle in the Battle Frontier or Battle Tower. Especially in PMD you only need attack. (at least that's my point of view)

pokemonpikachu, I think your team is very good, although I would add one more offensive attack to Mewtwo (such as Aura Sphere). Oh, and Dark Petal also very good team, I just think you could replace Dragonair's Fire Blast(which Ninetales has anyway) with an Electric attack, so you have more type-coverage :)

Reclaiming da ladder
Kingdra will want agility and blizzard for multi hits and monster houses respectively. Octillery likes gunk shot and maybe water gun as it is heaps powerful. Signal beam and energy ball overlaps on type coverage. Why not remove drapion and put kyogre for a rain team? All these sets make me think how cool it would be if it was multiplayer.

I wil give my Kindra Blizzard but no Agility. I hate having one Pokemon faster thab the other as it is a pain when your team mates run away. Water Gun will replace Octazooka and Gunk Shot will replace Energy Ball. Drapion shall stay because the point of this team is the ability Sniper.

Kio (Donphan, level 57.. XD)

Nero (Jolteon, level 60)

Double Kick

Any advice? =3

Silverninetails

Quaaaaagggg~~~
Sandkitty-Nya :personally I think that Giga Impact and Natural Gift aren't very good moves. I'll replace Stone Edge or Ancientpower with Rock Slide for more pp and accuracy, and Donphan's Special attack is rather low, but I'm not really sure about Donphan's Special Attack. If Kio's IQ is high you can go for Return over Giga Impact. One of the two elemental fangs(Fire and Thunder)can replace Natural Gift, unless Natural Gift benifits you very much.

Nero can go with Thunderbolt over Thunder Fang, since Thunderbolt hits the 8 adjacent squares.

Primrose could do with Air Slash over Natural Gift to couple with Serene Grace.

And about an item for Delcatty?

Excitable Boy

is a metaphor
Well, I'm pretty sure that X-Ray Specs don't do anything on non-leader Pokemon.

Otherwise, Stamina Band. (Yes, I do reccomend that a lot.)

What about my team?
