Korobooshi Kojiro
Funnnngaaaaa
Due to a certain website, which I won't mention by name, people here seem to have the misconception that Pocchama's name equals "Rookie Fighting Bird". That is wrong, that's what the Torchic line in japanese mean, I asked a friend about it who I trust and he says:
In other words, Pochama would be most likely "A plump, chubby, bird which splashes in water", which Pocchama definately is.
Therfore, their is nothing indicating it will evolve into a Water/Fighting type like some have said due to the supposed name meaning.
Thank you.
I can't locate Pocchan in my Japanese dictionary, best match I get is Pocha which means "splash water; dabble in water" or "plump; chubby". Shamo means fowl - though I think that's a dubious link here.
I could be wrong about Pocchan, but I don't think it's meant to be rookie fighting bird at all.
