Although back then Ash didn't have a co-protagonist who was promoted on equal footing with him.
But it is not "Pokemon Sword & Shield" anime, this is JOURNEYS where Ash and Goh are traveling at 8 regions.
If you mentioned if Goh should get become Allister's rival, writers would made anime only about traveling journey only in Galar, not at all 8 regions.

With the unfortunate incidence that happened in JN064, is there hope for Ash to get some Gen 3 representative Pokemon in this world tour? Which Gen 3 Pokemon is popular enough for Ash's team besides Latias?
Well I want Gardevoir or Metagross, I know that we have reserves that may or not be used yet, but I want to see a 6 mon for his Hoenn team because minus Sceptile and Glalie I felt his Gen 3 team was bland.
No, it wouldn’t, I mean heck they had no problem with him battling Cilan and his brothers for his 1st badge in BW. Also in the current series they didn’t have any problems with him fighting two fighting type gym leaders.

Goh literally just caught Absol in today’s episode, so I’m not sure why your acting like Goh getting Absol in episode 64 isn’t confirmed at this point, when the episode has already aired and showed him catching Absol.
I wouldn’t even bother responding as he hasn’t accepted the Absol capture yet and Flygon, so let him just talk and continue to hold out hope that maybe in another series he can catch it.

He’s not worth responding to in any way. He’s.... just dumb.

I love Go, he's the first character who wants to catch all the Pokémon which fits the slogan "Gotta catch 'em all!" and I don't care if most of his captures are "too easy" and I don't care that he caught Pokémon that were supposed to be Ash's(Sobble, Flygon and Absol). Since he caught Rattata and Skwovet(and evolved it into Greedent), I'm hoping for him to also catch Aipom, Teddiursa, Poochyena, Weavile(in case Ash doesn't catch) Pancham and Mudsdale.
It was never the slogan to begin with.

If you see a new Pokémon just say it will go to go
The anime is focussing more on gos goal they are trying something new
I do be disappointed when I get excited of a capture episode but go wants to complete his Pokédex to get to mew how does completing the Pokédex get to mew though
Ash just to be more involved in saving Pokémon, he still is but go is quicker with throwing the ball so it’s fair boring but fair
I’m having doubts that ash will beat Leon, his Pokémon he might use against charizard might be pikachu or lucario
Ash is training off air I guess

"Gotta catch 'em all" and "Ketchum" is not made in Japan. This slogan was created by 4Kids Productions. It was derived from original Japanese slogan: "Pokémon getto da ze!". The proper translation should be: "I'll get you, Pokemon".
That's fair....

Anyway, since Go will catch A-Ninetales in a future Alola episode, he will get these achievements:

Third Ice type
Third Fairy type
First canine
Seventh Pokémon based on a mythical creature; In A-Ninetales's case a Kyuubi
Second Pokémon who has a long life span; K-Ninetales's Pokédex entries says it can live for 1000 years, while this entry is not confirmed for A-Ninetales, but this counts, right?

It's something I expect based on Bea's portrayal as a rival of Ash. It would be weird to give him a rivalry with both Stow-on-Side Gym Leaders.
Was Bea ever confirmed to be the Stow-on-Side gym leader? I'm actually asking if they said anything about it in her episode because we have yet to see her in her own gym if that's the case. We first encountered her in Saffron and the second battle was in Chuck's gym in Johto so unless I missed a verbal confirmation that she was the gym leader it is entirely possible in my opinion that Allister could battle Ash while being the gym leader. That's not to say that him not being the gym leader of stow-on-side would stop him from battling him as well though as he could just pop up as a COTD which is what most gym leaders truly are if you really think about. I just don't see any correlation with Allister or Go as he only catches ghost types so in a contest of collecting it's pretty obvious that he loses. As a gym leader in the games if he does appear in an episode it will likely be to battle or even just be a guide just like Opal kind of was. He doesn't have to be a main rival of either Ash or Go

Honestly given that they had Ash fight Bea(a fighting type specialist and gym leader) with his two fighting type Pokémon in his first battle against her, and now where getting Ash vs Iris and him using two Dragon type Pokémon against her.

At this point I wouldn’t be that surprised if if the writers or people in charged of the anime are planning to have Ash catch at least one more Ghost type so that he can battle Allister in a Ghost battle with them both using Ghost type Pokémon.
So Dreepy lol
Lucario, old. Sirfetch, new
Dragonite, old. Dracovish, new.
Gengar, old. ????

I'm willing to admit that it's most likely just a coincidence though

Since Go is going to hit Iris with a Pokéball just like Ash did, I bet he's gonna try to catch a Deerling but fails and only manages to catch a Pidove.

Rainbow rocket sounds awesome and would would work great with this series. However, the writers would never devote themselves to such a long arc. I'd be satisfied with mini arc in a few regions.
I don't think pacing is the problem, rather there's hardly any point in promoting a subplot from US/UM three years after they were released when the writers would clearly rather promote current things from Shield and Sword like the Crown Tundra, and potentially BD/SP related subplots later this year.

Besides, I personally don't agree that seeing a bunch of old villains team up for some superficial reason sounds that enticing as far as storytelling is concerned: I didn't think it was fun in the games, so I probably wouldn't see the point of it in the anime, either.
