Pocket Monsters (2019) Pokémon Speculation Thread

Ignition

Keep thriving
I realize that there's a lot of paranoia because of the Messon fake-out, but I think the odds of Eievui belonging to Koharu are strong enough that there shouldn't be concerns about another fake-out happening.
Yeah sometimes there’s a lot of unnecessary denial or worrying about something that’s heavily implied. Though I suppose it’s better than making objective statements with no concrete evidence

What about it? Are people still trying to convince the rest of us that Umbreon is the epitome of Eeveelution popularity even though Sylveon was higher on the popularity poll?
Didn't Blacky get more votes, though? Not that popularity polls are the end-all markers of which Pokemon the cast will get, but I thought I saw Blacky ahead of Nymphia.

When there's no news to speculate except for things blatantly confirmed, it's hard not be skeptical.

Concerned to Ash's captures, it's a little less predictable, but there's some distrust he'll get more pokemon from Kanto and, alternatively, Galar, where lucario just got a pass because is a chillmon. I don't think he'll get 20 mons as everyone is thinking, but I think he'll have a bigger team this time (dunno if he'll actually have a new mon from every region, now). Or, with the Alola Team being recognized and, at least, beyleef being remembered, his past mons can finally join for some action.
Stop to make me want Ash with braviary...wait, is charizard flaming a taillow?

Only another big nothing. On the other hand, the image made me think...Ash never defeated an umbreon, right? Nor Gary's, nor Gladion's. What, is umbreon that popular that they don't want to show it lose on screen?

Granted, I don't remember all the times that Blacky appeared on-screen, but I don't think there's a pattern if Satoshi only failed to beat a Blacky twice.

I don't know how many times Ash fought against an Umbreon but I can tell you that according to a file I keep the only Eeveelutions he defeated are Jolteon(two times), Espeon and Sylveon.

I remember some guys posted very long lists or wishing he have more than 10 mons. Despite the fact that clearly doesn’t work, except if the first five have focus and switching to the next set, one by one.
Let's be fair here, we're still not halfway through the series so to say the least it's not really good judgment to assume this or that doesn't work until we're near the halfway point. In addition they're basically trying to get Riolu to be a Lucario as soon as possible for obvious reasons and there's not much to do with 2 fully evolved mons in the early game while idk what they're doing with the duck which I'm just gonna say they're gonna try shifting focus to it after Lucario arrives cause Sirfetch'd. And I remember those lists, I think most of them were just hoping at least one of them are options tho. And I still think he's getting more than what he got in BW which would be over 10 mons even if it sounds bad due to me still not being convinced that Ash isn't getting the usual 5 new mons in a new region which in this case would be Galar.

Again I still believe that Chloe will get it and that 1% of it not happening is very small. I just have to mention that there is always a chance of it not happening, but I am personally confident that she will get it.

Well there is still no question that Umbreon is very popular and marketable because if it wasn’t then it wouldn’t be promoted as often. So it’s another Pokémon that I can see end up with either Ash or Goh.

I don't care whom will have Umbreon, the only thing I care is if Ash or Go will catch a Weavile.

What makes you think Ash will catch an Umbreon? And he's probably catching either Dracovish or Kubfu(mostly the latter)
I feel like any of those three Pokemon being caught by Satoshi is quiet a stretch, but at least the latter two have appeared on merchandise more often recently than Blacky, and of course Uonoragon was also on the new series poster from a month ago. I'm not really seeing where the Blacky theories are coming from though considering that Koharu's heavily implied to get Eievui.
