The only Leg/Mythical Pokemon I see Ash catching is Kubfu which would evolve into Urshifu but I doubt that since he already has 2 fighting types. Maybe if they introduce DP remakes and we get Pokemon similar to Kubfu/Meltan where they evolve into stronger Pokemon( if Ash doesn't catch any Pokemon by that).

Nah. I kinda wish he get the fossil for tirtouga in the fossil episode, though.

No. Ash is their trainer, but Alola is their home. The fact they are remembered and their appearance is enough to confirm Ash will eventually have them in future battles, anyway.

Legendary pokemon are often marketed with Master Balls in certain merch scans and as for why it's Zacian, that's because alot of merch tied to her is popping up ( Even without Zamazenta).
It's either her or Eternatus but to me the former makes more sense given the context

I'm still not sure why people think it'll be caught just because it was shown with Satoshi's other Pokemon in that scan. I thought that the "X Pokemon is in close proximity to Satoshi/his Pokemon, so it'll be caught by him" logic was debunked a long time ago after several instances of that not coming to fruition with other captures.

The writers don't care about types overlap. Ash will catch Kubfu since it's like the Starter Pokemon in the Isle of Armor
