I guess he won't appear in the anime, because they chose Bea over his as if there was a version of Pokemon Sword for Ash especially. However, I can be wrong.

I think Allister will appear in the anime despite Bea's presence. I imagine one of these options
1) Allister replaces Bea at the Gym. (rather, someone must guard the room, since the fighting Pokémon trainer travels the world).
2) It may be that while Satoshi will be fighting the leaders of the "Sword" version, Gou will be fighting the leaders of the "Shield" version
3) They can make an arc where Allister will be indispensable

In terms of Galarian Pokemon I could see Gary with a Orbeetle or Galarian Darmanitan. Iris could have a Applin that she wants to evolve

For Gary, pretty much anything, but I'd totally be down for any of the ones kickachu already mentioned. I also suggest some kind of fossil Pokémon... either Bastiodon or Rampardos, maybe?

In Iris's case, Axew/Gible evolutions would be great, but I can see her with an Applin too. (I wonder if she knows Alolan Exeggutor is a Dragon-type??)

I think that if Allister appears he will be a rival to Gou like Bea is to Ash and also want to catch em all.

I can't see Allister becoming a capture rival as a type specialist, but Goh battling a gym leader/ another trainer would be nice to see.

I also forgot to mention that Go has only two dragon types. I think his third dragon type will be either Druddigon or Goomy or Axew/Fraxure.

These seem too popular given what he usually catches.

I think Go's second Dark type will be Scraggy, because he caught a Sandile, his third fire type will be Magmar or Simisear because they're both unpopular pure fire types and Go most of the time catches the unpopular species, he rarely catches the popular ones.

General guidelines for Goh's captures are Kanto / early bug, bird, rodent / not popular. With a few exceptions.

Fire: Ponyta, Slugma, Magby
Dark: Murkrow, Corphish-Crawdaunt, Nickit
Dragon: Swalbu-Altaria, Applin, Drampa
Steel: Scisor, Magnemite, Rookidee-Corviknight(not likely)
Fairy: Dedenne, Cleffa, Igglybuff

Assuming Sinnoh remakes happen and they will, I hope we see ash rebattle some Sinnoh gym leaders. I’d love to see Volkner, Roark, Byron, and Candice return. I also would like to see Flint of the elite four again. And it’d be cool if the Sinnoh frontier brains showed up. Obviously not all, if any, of that will happen but would be neat

I would be interested in seeing another rematch with Volkner and Flint, I liked both of those battles back in DP especially the Volkner match, it would be really cool to see how Ash would handle them this time around.

Besides Springhare and Capybara, I also want a Pokémon based on a Moose or a Shrew(Sandshrew doesn't count because it is based on an Armadillo.).

i agree with a Moose like Pokémon, I also want to see an Ox and Dolphin like Pokémon

This is a thread to discuss pokemon who appear in pocket monsters (2019) and not a thread to discuss what animals you would like as pokemon. For that you need to go to the games department. There is a reason why threads are seperated.

I'm hopeful Ash may actually get something new but considering how Dracovish has yet to get a new apperance, I wonder if that would even be a good thing lol
