It's kind of funny but also seems like whoever made it is trying to stir things by creating discord between Serena x Ash supporters and Ash x Goh supporters.

Except if you scrolled down, you would find the creator found this to just a freaking joke.

I think what would force Ash to use reserves is if they implement the Pokémon World Tournament from BW2 into the anime and just make it so some PWC/PCS matches happen to occur during the tourney.

Maybe Ash goes to Unova for a tourney hosted by Don George but he's holding Type-Specialist tournaments where the contenders have to sign up with 3 Pokémon that all share one single type.

That way Ash can use his current members but also bring back old ones for back up.

That would be a rather contrived way of getting Satoshi to use his reserves in a battle focused setting, but it's certainly a good idea just for the sake of reintroducing some of those Pokemon. I like Onvern and Fukamaru, so this would be a good way for them to be showcased together with Kairyu.

I fail to see how "stopping a dude from being a creep" is in anyway comparable to actually being one, but OK.

I view it more as "two wrongs don't make a right" in the sense that Kasumi, Masato, and Gureggru all resorted to physical injury to stop Takeshi in those instances. I don't remember Kasumi or Masato ever simply asking Takeshi to stop: instead they instantly resorted to pulling his ear, and I don't think violence should ever be the answer.

Okay, this is getting a bit ridiculous. I think everyone is overthinking this because Brocks gag is nothing but that.. a gag.

All he did was profess his love to girls in what was meant to be seen as a humorous way. He didn't try it on with them or push himself on them in an inappropriate way. It was a gag about a guy wearing his heart on his sleeve and falling for every "beautiful" girl possible, whilst his friends found it embarrassing for both him and themselves and did something to stop him, which again was meant to be seen as humorous..

Seriously, calm down.

But they aren't promoting it actively. We are almost 30 episodes into the series and Galar has gotten about six episodes. That's just 20% of the series so far. I am not complaining but it looks like Galar promotion isn't their main objective.

You are supposed to skip that part.

It would hurt the anime a lot more than you are expecting. You might not know about it but a lot of original fans were unhappy with Gengar's capture and they have stopped watching the Anime. Considering the fact that original fans contribute a big number to the Anime fanbase, I don't think it would be nice to evolve these established.

It might trend on twitter but there is a difference between famous and infamous. While many fans returned when Ash caught Dragonite and Riolu many fans would leave because of this decision. The situation that the Anime is in doesn't really help. They are already barely surviving outside of Japan.

They may not be actively promoting Galar, but their main goal is to promote all Pokémon and that is why they will promote those Pokémon that appear in Galar as Sobble will be showing up and Raboot is the main Pokémon that Goh uses. Any Pokémon that appears in Isle of Amour and Crown Tundra, I fully expect to make an appearance in the anime due to the fact that the goal of this series is to promote the Pokémon of their respective regions. That is why Ash and Go are traveling as research assistants because they are studying and learning about many different kinds of Pokémon. The Pokémon from the DLC will be no exception.

She was prone to getting upset whenever her friends did something annoying, but she tended to be extreme about it in the earlier episodes like when she hit Takeshi was a log I believe it was, or the two times that she slapped Satoshi. I'm glad that she wasn't like that after Kanto with few exceptions like the ear pulling and occasional shouting.

As of the 24th episode he has about 40 Pokemon in his collection, give or take. So assuming that his rate of new captures holds steady it should hypothetically take him around 30 more episodes to reach 100 captures. However since his rate of captures has slowed down ever since the Bug-type capture spree episode, it'll probably take much longer than that to reach the 100 mark.

I don't think that highly of her after she appeared in SM with the new animation style that I thought made her look unappealing, but her personality was fine. I was glad to see that she had a Mega Ring and Key Stone, which was a nice upgrade for her and Gyarados. If I had my way, her Koduck would've evolved by now, but I suppose it's her mascot so that won't ever happen.

The problem with Misty's personality in the OS is that she was a product of her time.

Back in the 90's and early to mid 2000's there was a long going popular trend of Tsundere characters that would often yell, insult, or (worst case scenario) outright beat the main Protag as a source of comedy.

(Apart from Misty, Chi-Chi from Dragon Ball Z, Sakura from Naruto, Asuka from Evangelion, Kagome from Inuyasha, or heck ANY Character by Rumiko Takahashi are just some popular examples that immediately come to mind)

Like most trends it's one that has definitely died down in recent years (tho it still pops up every now and then). Not entirely sure why, perhaps due to controversy of potentially glorifying abusive aspects in relationships, even if unintentional. But regardless as a result, Misty's Tsundere aspects got toned down immensely after she left the main cast

They definitely need to bring Don George back

And I've been hoping a Fire tournament will happen, it's an easy way to get Kiawe back for a few episodes and also show off Ash's Fire types we haven't seen in awhile like Torkoal, Charizard, Infernape, Quilava, Pignite, etc

Unless Kaki brings new Fire-types with him, I wouldn't really see the point of him returning since he already showcased Bakugames and Alolan Garagara enough in SM.

Does there have to be a point to it though. I mean sure he can have some new team changes but I don’t see why it he couldn’t just return for the fun of it.

On the topic of evolving Ash reserves, as someone who has watched the Anime since the very beginning (with a couple series exceptions), the only Pokemon that would feel wrong to bring back and evolve would be Bulbasaur. It just feels like a mainstay, and had an entire episode dedicated to it refusing to evolve, that everyone who watched the Anime at the time remembers.

Squirtle on the other hand doesn't have the same mystique around it. It hasn't featured as prominently or as frequently. In fact, I think Squirtle returning and evolving would just excite older fans even more to return to the Anime, which I've already seen a bit of with Gengar and Dragonite being captured.

Apart from that, literally any of his other reserves returning and evolving wouldn't feel forced or unwelcome. I have my own preferences (Gible please) and the Johto and Unova teams are in desperate need of upgrades. Snivy got absolutely no growth, so Servine would be nice. I would love to see Totodile evolve and keep it's personality, and Typhlosion has never really been featured so that'd be cool.

Type tournaments would be great, and is something I've always wanted to see. They'd be the perfect excuse to bring back reserves and develop them.

Also, some people need to learn what DEM actually means....

I would hope so, although not every character who returns showcases a new Pokemon. Kasumi didn't when she returned in SM [I'm not counting Mega Evolutions as new Pokemon], and Takeshi only captured a new Pokemon after he came back in SM the second time when he visited Alola.

I'm saying this as a possibility or an idea that I had as someone brought this up earlier about Past Companions.

As there's a Pokemon that I could see specifically Kiawe owning for type diversity but for specific purposes.

Galarian Rapidash and Kantonian Rapidash. Galarian Rapidash for his little Sister and Kantonian Rapidash for himself. They live on a ranch, it's a horse. It's as simple an idea there is. Yes I get the KANTO argument but I can see Kiawe catching a Galarian Ponyta for his sister similar to how Clemont caught Dedenne for Bonnie, because it literally evolves into a Unicorn. Do you see my point it fits his character.
