So Bea Should have ended her rivalry with Ash Ketchum, It's about time that Using Bea after Ash wins the battle with her is a no-go so it can let Galar gym leaders shine. What candidates can you think of besides opal and Bea?

For as much as I’d like to see them, a non Type specialist being Ash’s next opponent would bring some much needed variety

They can just give Allister a Shiny Gengar like how they gave Winona a Shiny Swellow to distinguish hers from Ash’s. Allister would be a lame pick for his next opponent though IMO so I hope it’s not him

Or make Allister's Gengar have its anime coloration, since Ash's has its game coloration.

Wouldn’t be against his return since he’s the closest person Ash has made a connection with out of all the Hoenn League characters and it’d probably bring back May & Max. I would rather he’d have someone he hasn’t faced before though

Well, only Max. May would be out elsewhere because they could actually do stuff with her outside of Petalburg. And they don't need to recast Max's Japanese VA (but they would need to recast his English VA).

Thinking about it considering Ash is going to be Gigantamaxing his Gengar then that means one of his opponents after Bea is going to need to be battled in Galar and so far it seems like the Hyper Class battles tend to take place in the home region of Ash’s opponents.

Of course so far his opponents in the Hyper Class have been Gym leaders so they have their own gym, so not sure where the battle will take place if the character isn’t a gym leader or doesn’t have a fixed location.

While Surge was foreshadowed already, I think the other two will be Kabu and Nessa. I like Sabrina and I’d like to see Ash finally defeat her in a proper battle, but I think it won’t be this time.

Nah man now that i think about it they destroyed ambipom's original character. Let me explain in AG she was like chikorita (kinda in love with ash if you want to see it like that), she bothered ash because she wanted to get his attention and even got jealous of pikachu at some point, she even followed ash to sinnoh for said reason. But after that in DP all that got destroyed she lost all interest in ash and became a typical pokemon that he had in his adventure, and now she bothered him just because that was her thing. It even got to the point that she decided she liked more the contest (something that she was only interested after seeing may and dawn) than ash (literally the one she followed out of her habitat because she wanted to be with him). Its a little rant but it really bothered me

While pokemon can have interests beyond their trainers, aipom/ambipom is one of the most egregious examples of character flanderization the show ever had, second only to Ash & pikachu. What a waste she was.

I dunno, I think Allister would make a good adversary. His shy personality contrasting with how he is a good enough trainer to be so high on the PWC could make for an interesting episode.

I hope allister doesn’t appear as a PWC opponent in any way. Having ash fight nothing but type specialists of the types he has on hand right now for his major battles is just dumb.

Surge as well, a third electric specialist is just dumb. Why they bothered making visquez a character i will never understand.

He seems like an intersting character and he can use new ghost types like that tea cup

Considering all the hype it has gotten they would definitely make it a big 6 vs. 6 spectacle. It'd definitely be 3-4 episodes long like with Paul and Kukui

Wait I just thought of something, as we know Ash used Pikachu, Lucario, and Gengar in his PWC match against Volkner and each three of those Pokémon are being promoted to represent the 3 different battle gimmicks.

Which break down like this:

Z-Move = Pikachu
Mega Evolution = Lucario
Gigantamax = Gengar

In his first Hyper Class Battle in the PWC he used his and Pikachu’s signature Z-move against Volkner and his Electivire, now in his 2nd Hyper Class battle he is using a Mega Evolution being Mega Lucario against Bea’s Gigantamax Machamp.

So following by that train of logic then his his 3rd Hyper Class battle should be where he Gigantamaxes his Gengar, and since that mechanic seems to be exclusive to Galar it means his 3rd Hyper Class opponent should be a Galar character.

Well I rewatched this past episode and I looked at Ash’s phone and it appears that Bea is ranked 30th so it shouldn’t be too far up because he needs to take on three more opponents.
