I much prefer it this way, Ash's Farfetch'd evolving is left a complete surprise and we get to see one of the other Fighting types earlier than expected.
Even better if Grapploct replaced Machamp as Bea's ace/signature, easily makes up for some of the Kanto pandering we've gotten!

They didn't showcase all of the Megas or z-moves, all of the G-Max forms probably won't appear either

As others have mentioned I fully expect him to possibly evolve it into an Alolan Raichu as there is one in the first poster that is next to Goh while he surfs on a Mantine. So if Goh does end up catching a Pikachu, then that means Ash can also end up catching a Scizor and/or even Trevenant despite Goh owning the pre evolve forms. This opens up for more potential captures in the future.

I don't think muschamp is going out of bea's team since we also had a lot of merchs for machamp earlier

Well I mean Drednaw's probably out of Nessa's team on account of it going to Team Rocket, they're probably going to just give her Blastoise though
Unless Bea's going to fight Ash in Galar at some point, having Machamp really isn't necessary. Especially since the way things are going Goh's probably going to get a vast majority of the Kanto Dex by the series end so he's probably gonna have one of those

At least if you don't like Ash you were always able to ignore him when other characters had the focus

I dont like where this is going with Gou. It is a bit odd, having much episodes focused on Gou and Ash gets just one. They cant seem to balance stuff. They are both the main characters. And now Gou will catch a Pikachu? The spieces Pikachu gets more focus here then the last three series combined

So the episodes are:

A person who wants Go's Pinsir
Bea and Grapploct's debut
A village full of Pikachu which incentivate Go to catch one.

Make sense Go to evolve his future Pikachu(probably a female) into an Alolan Raichu, since it is more popular than its Kantonian form.
