LORD HAVE MERCY I did not expect to see Iris come back!! I heard the news of her reappearance and I came straight back.
I've waited 7 years to see her again and now it's finally happening... I don't know what to do.

Not gonna lie, it's heartwarming to know and feel it for myself that I was not the only one who had been waiting forever for Iris to return to the show.

well it already kinda gurantee that none of ash's pokemon other than ofvourse pikachu and lucario would do nothing so its better let him catch more and more mons. also he only have 1/2 galar mon

It was the most prominent of Ash's Pokemon in the opening solidifying it is Ash's ace this generation.

Opening. Not only is Korrina seemingly returning, but even the first 3 seconds tell you he's got top priority next to Pikachu.

Wonder if Leon traveling with Ash and his friends in the opening means anything? Maybe there will be a mini arc dedicated to that

Considering Lucario is basically the ace this season, i doubt Ash is getting Grookey.

Me neither tbh. Aside from seeing Gary and Iris, the Opening was okay but nothing too exciting.

I get it tho. OP 2 had LOADS of Spoilers.

So they toned down OP 3 immensely on the Spoilers

Hmm, maybe during the next Galar trip Ash will get Rookidee while Goh gets Grookey. I mean heck that Rookidee hanging out with Ash seemed pretty suspicious considering to seemed like it was going to continue to tag along if Dracovish hadn’t picked up speed.

You know looking at the attack that Ash’s Dracovish used today and comparing it to it’s move pool the only moves that would really match what we saw are Water Gun, Hydro Pump, and Scald.

Although if it was using Scald I would think they would make it more clear like steam coming off the attack or the water being noted to be hot.

So if I had to guess unless this a different type of Water type move that’s just being animated differently for some reason then I would say it’s Water Gun or Hydro Pump.

So basically this would be part of it’s move set:

It still amazes me that some people are so dramatic about their supposed "hatred" for Iris, when she was literally part of a cast which included Cilan, whom was arguably a worse character. I'm personally excited to see her again, since I really ended up liking her!

It'll be cool to see if she's part of the PWC and how her chase for Rayquaza has been going. Also, since animating it outside of its ball isn't an issue anymore, will Axew have evolved? Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Cilan had humor going for him though, with how over-the-top he was.
