Goh has a Butterfree. However, he seems to have forgotten that it exists, so the likelihood that Gigantamax Butterfree will belong to a COTD is probably higher than Goh remembering to take his to Galar. There is always the off chance, however, that he learns that Butterfree is capable of Gigatanamaxing and decides to take his to Galar to test it out.
It would be nice if Ash and Goh each got a form of Toxtricity.
Gigatamax Garbodor appeared during the Darkest Day arc, although that doesn't mean it can't or won't appear again.
But she gave Ash and Goh her infamous quiz! Doesn't that count for something?
He would be able to get revenge on Team Rocket for all those years of stalking and tormenting him by giving them endless nightmares of starving to death after Morpeko ate all of their food.

the user of that account makes theories with merchandise that comes out, as we do, he mentions that in that merchandise some pokemon could belong to X character, and among it mentions that Darkrai and cresselia could be captured by ash and Goh as a possibility

I know May has a Glaceon but unless Zoey somehow returns that Leafeon is definitely a CotD so Glaceon probably is too

I want Koharu to catch one of the Sinnoh starters, but considering how laser-focused they are on Eevee right now I don’t expect it. Turtwig would really fit her flower/plant aesthetic and possibly give it redemption if it was used significantly, but I digress.
Leafeon and Glaceon are probably going to be COTD appearances but I’d really like Zoey and May to appear. Drapion makes me wonder too.
