Clickbait isn’t much different than creating algorithms from the sum of user interactions on a platform to build recommendation engines to shovel content at you.Taking advantage of ignorance is not a proper job, unless you consider carnies and their rigged fair games a proper job

I mean for one, the videos speculating about stuff about anipoke are not targeted towards babies.Imagine:
“Hey what is your job”
“Oh I make “speculation videos on Pokemon videos with clickbait to an audience that has probably barely left diapers”.
It’s the same with those people I see on YouTube making content geared towards children. The fact that grown ass adults know how children work is hella creepy.
And the Spider-Man/Elsa videos, UGH!I feel PokeTubers are ultimately harmless and easy enough to ignore. It's the assholes who glue barnacles on turtles and then make videos "coming to their rescue by removing them" purely to bask in the praise of their audience for the sake of their own ego that are a real problem.
Social media influencer is a surprisingly lucrative profession. If your following is large enough, you can monetize your channel and get a cut of YouTube’s advertising revenue.Imagine:
“Hey what is your job”
“Oh I make “speculation videos on Pokemon videos with clickbait to an audience that has probably barely left diapers”.
Some of the content targeted towards kids, like Blippi and CoCoMelon, is no different than what you’d find on PBS kids. It’s the same with those people I see on YouTube making content geared towards children. The fact that grown ass adults know how children work is hella creepy.
Isn't Cocomelon like, legitimately bad for kids in a neurological level? Some of the content targeted towards kids, like Blippi and CoCoMelon, is no different than what you’d find on PBS kids.
I have no idea.Isn't Cocomelon like, legitimately bad for kids in a neurological level?
Undetermined. From a studied industry childcare perspective, any video time more than 9min at any given time is harmful, cognitively, for children under 3.Isn't Cocomelon like, legitimately bad for kids in a neurological level?
