It'll be revealed that Goh is also Giovanni. He travelled back in time via Celebi and got trapped, and is Giovanni of present day and why he wants to steal all Pokemon.
He is also the strapping young guy that had a tryst with Deliah and fathered Ash. Goh is both the hero and the villain of the story.
Journeys actually references the journey Goh took to the past, and to the dark side.
One way or another, Goh will get all the Pokemon.
Facing a mid-life crisis, other people buy a red sportscar and flirt with people their children's age. But that's other people. Giovanni wants something greater. To travel back to the future and live his time out as Goh.
But without Celebi, 'tis impossible. And they assiduously avoid him after his repeated attempts at chucking pokeballs at them. Will that stop Giovanni? No! With the power of Mew and his own clone, Giovanni seeks to create a superbeing capable of traversing time and capture all Pokemon, and eventually release him from his time-prison.
For Giovanni, it's Specimen-019. For the specimen, he calls himself Goh.
What will Goh, father to himself, child to himself do?
And then there's the devilishly handsome Mewtwo raised in the birthpod next to him. A Pod-brother. No, more than that...his brother from his Mew-mother. But that wicked smile! That smile!
Sounds so wrong, but feels so right.
What will Goh, quart human and ¾ Pokemon and in love with his Mewtwo brother do?
And, how will we explain everything to Ash, his son in future?
This fall, coming to TVs near you:
