Lana evolves Sandy into Vaporeon.
Kiawe gets Flareon
Sophocles gets Jolteon
Dawn gets Espeon
Gary already has Umbreon
Cilan gets Leafeon.
May already has Glaceon.
Serena already has Sylveon.

Maybe its just me but I'm getting tired of the Pikachu + 5 format that's been the standard since XY. I don't want Ash to get 20+ or anything crazy like that. Maybe a dozen. Granted that's still a lot but I was thinking we'd get four years since either Gen 8 or 9 has to be for Gen 10 to land on the 30th anniversary.

The point is there are so many fun and cool options introduced every generation that is sucks that Ash is limited to just 5 captures. Especially in a series that has us visiting all the regions. Yes some will be shafted but tbf someone always gets shafted.

I mean, i can see where you are coming from, but i think the smaller roster of new Pokemon is a factor to play for as well.. just like them shoving unneccesary Pokemon on Ash's team (Did he really need three flying and two Dragon types on his Kalos team for example).

I will ask you more better. Why Chloe have just only one pokemon and HAVE THREE STONES?
It's more wastes if Chloe doesn't use this than Lana get use for evolving her Sandy.

And especially - Lana is now a barely shown character, it's perfect.
You're commenting about SM is same like Chloe 's Eevee - it's wastes of time.

Today’s episode was really good, I liked the development that Chloe received and thought her contest performance was good. I thought Serena had great development as well and helped Chloe come out of her shell. I liked Ash and Wallace reunion even thought we didn’t see the full battle. It was still a good episode none the less.
