We usually do get a new PV around New Years

No, we usually get a new year's special that contains some new clips of upcoming events. But it doesn't seem like that's happening this year.

Do you think they'll just have PV of upcoming events after tonight's episode or will they not do anything at all this year.
I do feel like we are due for a PV as we've pretty much covered everything we got in the PV when the arc began.

In case anyone is curious after the upcoming episode airs we will only have about 9-14 episodes left of the current arc. Keep in mind that this is going under the assumption that the current arc will be a similar legenth to the previous arcs.

So this would mean that the current arc would end somewhere around episode 87-92.

Anything is possible, now that the anime is becoming more innovative with its new story. It seems inevitable that sooner or later the anime will supposedly reveal both Koridan and Miridan, since there both the mascot of the respective current generation.

Like the previous mascot legendries of Galar and Alola, I figure both dragons will be partnered with a specific trainer. Friede and Amethio seem to serve this role since they are treated as important characters in the horizon story.

Also, since Liko and Roy are paired with respective legendaries (Terapogas and Rayquaza), I doubt they'd temporarily partner with Koridan and Miridan.

Just a wait and see, which we may find out when the Area Zero plot commences.

I'm not saying they won't appear but they are NOT GOING to be catch, just like Roy WILL NOT CATCH Rayquaza.

Just pointing this out but Liko literally caught Terapagos, which keep in mind that at full power is stronger then Koraidon and Miraidon, and in just in it’s Terastal form alone it was able to counter Rayquaza’s attack.

So when you really look at how Horizon’s is handling legendary Pokémon it doesn’t seem to have a problem with characters owning the major box art legendaries on a permanent basis. So Roy catching Rayquaza is relatively likely.

Look it’s fine if you personally think Roy won’t catch the or that Koraidon and Miraidon, but at the end of the day that’s your opinion and not a fact and no, putting will not happens in a caps doesn’t suddenly make it a fact.

Roy catching Rayquaza is kind of a bad idea. It will be laughable if such a powerful legend is caught by a child who has only recently become a trainer (unless Rayquaza agrees to be his pokémon).

We did see it happen in the previous series...

I know, but I only meant beginner trainers (like Goh or Roy).

Terapagos himself wanted to be the Pokémon Liko. In addition, before she was caught, the girl received a blessing from Rystal, Terapagos' previous trainer.

Well anything is possible based on the anime's current writing. The previous gen (Galar) anime in 2019, introduced numerous characters catching or befriending legendaries and now the horizon story is showcasing historic trainers with Legendary pokemon as their respective partners; Lucious, Gibeon, and Rystal.

Since Liko has already acquired a legendary, it seems inevitable that Roy will acquire a legendary pokemon of his own during this new arc (Rayquza Rising). Although, I have doubts that Roy will acquire Rayquza as "HIS" pokemon during this arc, as it would be too soon, based on his current level of experience. However, the plot of the horizon series seems to heavily imply that Roy will obtain Rayquza as his pokemon prior to the finale of the horizon story. If Roy's does not become Rayquaza's trainer during this arc, I speculate that he will definitely become the dragon's new master toward the end of the horizon story, though I would like for Roy to catch his own Rayquaza that is unique for him.

For now, my guess is that Roy may catch one of the johto legendary beasts (Raikou) in which he will allow it to roam the world while under his ownership.

As for Koridan and Miridan, it seems proper that both legendaries be partnered with a specific trainer, perhaps temporarily, considering their lore within the game. If Friede and Amethio wont be paired with them, then I would assume they would be paired with Professor Sada and Professor Turo, respectively, if horizon introduces both Professors in the story.

Since Aero Zero will be explored in a couple of episodes will probably be getting a second poster for Rayquaza Rising to advertises that.
