Sometimes I wonder if the lore of pokemon is centered more towards sci-fi. Both the anime and video games seem to mostly emphasize the events of pokemon phenomena as a science-based observance.

Then there are rare moments that I assume the anime arguably emphasizes a magic element in pokemon lore during climatic events involving human and pokemon connectivity, especially if a suppose death is imminent like what had happened to a certain character in a previous movie.

With that said, I hope horizon explains more of why Rakau is considered a paradise and why Rakuim would be considered a hazard if its supposedly a natural element within the environment.

If Lucius needed to seal himself to impede the rakuim from being used, then I'm hoping the plot doesn't focus on Friede needing to take Lucuis place to seal himself in order to stop Spinel from collecting more Rakium.

Maybe they don’t venture into Rakua out of respect or fear. Whatever the reason, I don’t think the place needs to have human structures to look more interesting, fantastical and wondrous.

I have a theory. So most of the explorers or I would venture to say all of them haven't seen Gibeon at his crazy unhinged yet, I think once they see him in action, we might see a few of them be like wtf are we doing here which is what I think will happen with Amethio.

I think Agate and Spinel are the only two that would stick by him if he went full crazy as they seem more villainess then the others.

I'm also curious where Hamber will be during all of this. We didn't see him in the previews at all, and given that he trained a lot of the explorers, he'll probably know how to take each of them down should they get too crazy.

Or even Spinel might be a real hidden villain and manipulate Gibeon for his selfish own goal.
Also not mention he can brainwash peoples minds using pokemon kinda make very scary.

Man-made structures aren't necessary. I agree on that.
What Rakua needs in my eyes, though, is a more magical, more mythical, more supernatural atmosphere. It could also be sealed off from the outer world by some cosmic gate, for example. The kind of things we saw in Sun and Moon that introduced wormholes, for example.
I'm not quite happy with the generic picnic forest.

Amethios mother dying in a car crash seems like a coverup... i feel like she definetly has more plot relevance than they are letting on... my theory is he death or supposed to death is related to the rakurium..

Miraculous Ladybug's handling is horrible and more akin to the previous anime going on forever since Lila got the Butterfly Miraculous anyway. Liko's cat will evolve just to get outsmarted by Gibeon and him winning anyway.

Eh, very few of the parents in the anime have ever been referred to by name, it's almost always just "x's mother" or "x's father". Names usually only appear if the character has relevance outside of being someone's parent, particularly when they're going to interact with other adults on screen.

Counterpoint: Roy's entire family is unamned, so its not unheard of even for Horizons.
