The bare minimum that would make the shiny pop out is a different color tone from the existing shiny's like what we see in the forms colors..

Crazy how people kept making a bunch of conspiracy theories and declarations how they gave him a Lucario to make him more like Ash when in reality….it’s actually getting a new form and he’s probably just going to promote it earlier ahead of the DLC release just like Terapogos. Hate to see it.

It’s already to late for to debut the new Mega Lucario Z before the DLC comes out as the last episode to air before the DLC comes out is the episode airing this week which will likely have Dot’s Gimmighoul evolving into Gholdengo, and really it looks like the episode is mainly just going to be featuring Dot and Penny.
So really the earliest we could see the new Mega Lucario Z in the anime would be next weeks episode but by then the DLC will already be out.

Yeah I think the reason they went with Lucario again is coz they knew it would have a new mega evolution, on top of it being popular ofc
Making it shiny was probably to differentiate it from Ash and make it more fresh

No, actually it’s pretty safe to say that Roy will be getting Mega Lucario Z considering the ending basically hints at it. And as for not having any business in Kalos that is something that can easily change.
As for being against the lore if Hoopa is needed, first they could easily bring Hoopa in to the anime if they felt the need to.
And second off in regards to be against the lore, have you forgotten about the situation with Kyurem, as it’s lore is supposed to require it to absorb Reshiram or Zekrom if it wants to transform into White Kyurem or Black Kyurem respectively yet we have two different Pokémon movies where it transformed into both forms without being required to absorb Reshiram and Zekrom.
Sure the movie that debuted Kyurem and it’s two forms has the excuse that it as the time was aware that Kyurem needed Zekrom and Reshiram to obtain those forms but Hoopa in the Clash of Ages has no such excuse.
